1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 13, 2016, 02:52:14 PM
Let's stop with the rigged game. Even if they rig it in favor of Cavs the Warriors had so many chances in that last few minutes of that game. They just couldn't hit those threes so I wouldn't call it rigged. The last 2 minutes is still a tied game and the misses of Warriors 3 pointers caused them the Finals.

With regards to Super Teams in Jordan Era, players at that time are competitors as you can see with the way they foul each other. If you've seen the games in the 90s you know that those are not cheap fouls unlike today. Scottie and MJ has been team mates for such a long time and the movements of players changing teams at that time are less. There are less stars changing teams at that time.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: July 13, 2016, 11:42:06 AM
Did it happen in one day? Of course it didn't... You just know about it for one day probably. Steemit has been working on it for a year already...

They "did it" with 700k daily volume on 1 exchange... If you can short it anywhere, do it next week or as soon as there are new exchanges added. This is going to plummet like a meteor sooner or later.

No worries, Lisk will get there as well, just more gradually. I give it 9 months until we pass the $100M marketcap mark.

>dat steemit

damnm why is not lisk doing the same  Huh Kiss

It's understandable that most of you just want to ride the pump and then sell for a profit. But what is essential here is the true growth of Lisk. But if you're here waiting for the pump, keep holding. It will come I assure you.

dat steemit though, 3rd place , puts every altcoin, ico, into shame, they did it
well what can you do, better luck next time

6-9 months for something that took steemit 1 day ? Huh
that's a lot don't you think ?

Whales/Pumpers will always be silently collecting funds so they can push a coin price in an instant and this pump in price is not an exception. It is a long process.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 13, 2016, 11:30:18 AM
Adam Silver commented on the matter of KD transferring to the Warriors saying it puts too much imbalance in the league so they might have some CBA changes regarding super teams.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Powered by PoSP | Est. 2013 on: July 13, 2016, 11:28:38 AM
Hello. I have 200+ CBX and want to increase them by staking. can someone tell me how much can I get by staking them?
and how the staking system works? is there any specific link or thread where I can know the percentage and time of rewards? is crypto bullion reward stakers weekly bases or monthly bases?

I think it is better to wait until the devs team release the new version of CBX , the new staking system will give you the chance to make up to 50% profit from staking your coins , the devs team are working hard to release it . At present , staking is not much profitable , but soon sure it will be , and CBX has bright future , so hold your coins and stay tuned .

This information is incorrect. CBX will never install a system that will generate 50% profit.

Inflation is 2 % per year over the total network at max. The only reason people can earn ~8-15% is because many coins are not being staked so that part goes to people who do actively stake them.

Correct. 50% profit is too much for staking CBX. I can only earn around 0.80% per month during the past few months and others have posted their staking rewards as well (probably dozens of pages away) and they're having the around the same figure as I have.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PlayStore accepting Bitcoin? on: July 13, 2016, 11:26:22 AM
Do you think that PlayStore for android phones should accept Bitcoin as a payment or AppStore for Iphone? Steam has no problem with Bitcoins, so why shouldn't PlayStore and AppStore use it? It can use BitPay like Steam and most sites that sell something online.
It would be great, but do you think it will happen?

That is a good proposition. But google is skeptical about using a decentralized currency like bitcoin as of now.

Also the fluctuation in bitcoin price is also a matter of concern. So a proper price bench marking needs to be done before bitcoin is accepted in app store.

Another issue is that, you can't buy anything immediately with bitcoin payment as it takes time to get confirmed. So you will have to wait after making the payment until it gets confirmed. These are few road blocks.

This can be covered soon if we already have a crypto tied up to a currency at 1:1 ratio. Plus altcoins are way faster and almost instantaneous. These kind of things are the reason why Bitcoin won't be the king of crypto in the future.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 13, 2016, 11:17:55 AM
I bought Steem at $0.32 USD a few days ago, but I sold today at $4 USD.  If you want to experience something like that, get in on Synero now.  A lot of people call me a troll on this thread, and I don't mean to boast, but Waves has basically followed the path I've predicted for the most part, and even when I mentioned Synero earlier in this thread, since then it went up close to 17%, but it's back down to around 10% increase on the day.  Steem isn't truly decentralized, but it's a BitShare clone that's been marketed very well.  Synero is a similar concept but much more solid tech, and it's actually been in development slightly longer.  I don't know if they will do the incentivized user activity, but they will definitely get pumped like Steem.  Synero will have news coming out in mid-late August and September.  There's a pump group that I know that is going to get them some major visibility.  That's how I knew to get into Steem last week - pump group connections.  It's possible I'm saying too much here, but really just want to help, because I feel bad for people who lost on this Waves shit.

But yeah don't buy Steem now, it's way over bought.  It will be back at sub $2 soon.  And I'm not saying that to FUD, just technical analysis based on the charts and order book.  It's got an uphill battle.  Major FOMO is what took it high, but with the larger volume, it won't be as easy to shoot up again like that so quickly again, unless they have some major news, which I doubt.  The pump is over.  The next pump is Synero.  Get in early, get out early.  That's the strategy.

And this pump by steem is making those having bitshares hope that steem will bring them further visibility and probably an increase in price too. With regards to Waves, there's not much I can do right now but just to hold it in.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MNM][LAUNCHED] MINEUM |x13| PoW STARTED on: July 13, 2016, 11:12:05 AM
If MNM can be listed by bittrex or polo ,the price would be 10K+ sato

bittrex and poloniex would not added coin with dividend system. I do not know why, but like as said the people

It's their rules and they are free to make any rule they want. Mineum should be something on its own not depend on exchanges for its value.

Maybe they should keep into the smaller exchanges then later on if there's much adoption and user base and funds then have it added to bittrex.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: July 13, 2016, 11:10:27 AM
I want to know that girls also gamble?

If yes then it looks like the number of female gamblers is negligible with respect to male gamblers. why?

Not in the same numbers because girls have a better time of things when it comes to life in the real world its more fun for them to not participate in more solitary like gambling.  Its just like girls in sport or bitcoin, the numbers are less.

Or they spend more time dealing with everything like taking a bath, make up, preparing things etc. Which results to them not having much time in gambling.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: July 13, 2016, 11:08:30 AM
In 2020, I think Altcoins will have further adoption. Maybe we can have like somewhere in 500 USD at that time. Wondering how high difficulty will be at that point and how much advancement is required to mine a bitcoin. Or what will happen to the bloated blockchain size at that time. They might need to do hard fork for bitcoin to advance further but if none will be done then altcoins will take over.

But no one can predict the future so we just have to see it to believe it.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 13, 2016, 10:58:43 AM
I think I will still gamble but on a controlled manner (I hope) just for the fun of it. I need to allocate some fund to it maybe 0.5 BTC.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 12, 2016, 12:25:10 PM
is it true that Ray Allen will be on the Golden State Warriors this Season?! Wow! They team will be stronger than before. Im rooting for them to be the champion on this season. Cheesy
what? additional shooter for gsw? oh I wonder how they can defend the board if they will add kd and allen to their line up
really can't believe how this things happen now from nba.

They wont have any excuse anymore if they lose the next Finals. They surely needs to win the championship with such lineup or at least the expectation is.

The splash god to the splash family. I'm excited to see ray allen to the gsw. It gonna rain some 3s.

If that will actually happen should they average 150 pts per game or just lose less than a handful games in the entire season. It will be exciting time for them to lose Smiley
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Goldman Sachs wants to steal the South China Sea from China... on: July 12, 2016, 12:12:46 PM
Well sad to say but China is a powerhouse. They control markets globally and arms race in Asia so no one can stand against them even the court in Hague.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: July 12, 2016, 12:00:48 PM
Oh and confirmation time is a problem...

I'm still waiting for confirmation of some payments because the site I use isn't able to put correct fees and that's really not cool ><

I saw that a lot of people are the delay of transaction and confirmation is the biggest problem for them in bitcoin.
But for me, we can do nothing for it so don't take it as a problem.
So that it can give you somehow a relief.

Yes this delay of transaction will only get worse in the future and will hinder bitcoin being widely accepted by ordinary merchants when other altcoins are way faster and almost instantaneous.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: July 12, 2016, 11:59:52 AM
My bitcoins/satoshis are mostly used in Gambling websites then investment sites. But Gambling plays out the biggest role.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: July 12, 2016, 11:58:50 AM
Portugal was always good and one expected champion for some people.

You need to get your eyes and brain checked most likely. Portugal was bad and admit it they are luckier than france in the final game therefore they won the euro final. It is not about being the best anymore but rather about being the luckiest one out of all countries that played in the euro 2016

Well yes, look at their win--- without the best player. The teams are equally skilled so luck plays out its course as well. The goal was perfectly timed under the best opportunity the situation offered.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin will pass 1000 usd again ? on: July 12, 2016, 11:46:43 AM
it must pass 700 soon .
and i think that such price will be passed really soon in like a year or so, i hope that we will see a new all time high that will allow us all to make some decent money

It will for sure brought to us by the halving but after that it will go on roller coaster mode in terms of looking at the price chart.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Powered by PoSP | Est. 2013 on: July 12, 2016, 11:41:23 AM
let see how this coin moves after this new update its been a long dump ever since the btc price jump up I think it is time for this coin to move forward and bounce back, hoping that this new update will help us all succeed its been a long wait.

And we're with you in this waiting game. As much as I'd like to help, there's not much I can do for the coin except buying some when fund is available. We're currently ranked 32 in C-cex, I'm not sure if someone is sends some votes there still.
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you like to pay bills using bitcoins while staying at home? on: July 12, 2016, 11:30:31 AM
Jesus people we can already pay our bills online with debit or credit cards or at an ATM machine without entering the bank etc. and it's not like Bitcoin is the holy grail of paying bills online or the reinventing of hot water. People who have had the need to pay for things online without leaving their offices have been doing that for a long time before Bitcoin has ever existed  Grin Bitcoin is very cool and all that jazz but it's not like there haven't been other alternatives before.

Haha good point, everyone here wishes to make use of Bitcoin while such can really be done without the need of crypto. Yes we can pay bills without leaving our homes AND without using bitcoin. Good addition though for crypto to be added as such in different countries.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to stake 24/7 on a VPS? on: July 12, 2016, 11:25:31 AM
VPS offers are quite expensive, at least the ones I saw. I don't feel like staking alone will be enough to cover those expenses.
