1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest me the best ICO to invest. on: April 22, 2018, 08:42:38 AM
I personally suggest investing in a running business. ICOs nowadays are often about projects whose realization depends on the success of their ICO. Whatever you do, proper financial planning and risk management are key elements in every investment we make.

Agreed. Proven teams have reputations they need to hold. They also have already demonstrated they have been able to run a business past a "hope to god" idea.

ICOS im investing in
  • Origin Protocol - Ex Google team. Looking very promising. Top 100 currency in a year
  • Oddup/UpNetwork - Huge in Asia, rumored to have signed deals with Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters for ICO ratings - probably top 20 currency in a year www.upnetwork.io
  • Buxx - Team based in Singapore, Trialing their chain with CarreFour (Asia), Wesfarmers (Australia). Top 50 currency in a year, however this could be huge
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Savedroid is a scam and yet it had 4/5 rating on ICO Bench. on: April 22, 2018, 08:17:11 AM
This is the news presently going round. One of my friends invested $1300 into savedroid. The question now is that can we conclude now that Savedroid is a scam. The reputation of ICO Bench is presently at stake, for listing this ICO. Well, they can only gain their reputations back, if only there is proper correction and perhaps it ends up to be just the work of hackers.
I am eagerly waiting to know the final outcome.

ICOBench rep is dead now and they have always served the lowest possible bar of ratings for customers (i.e. retail investors).  It is and never will be institutional ready.
This space will change pretty fast this year and all these cheap ICO rating sites will be replaced with the Fitch or Moodys or Oddup's of the rating world.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I bought on all time high on: April 21, 2018, 12:07:37 PM
I remember in 2008 at the financial crisis a friend has Morgan Stanley shares and was panicking that it was all over. I told him to hold because he didnt need to sell to put food on the table and selling was a knee jerk reaction. Of course he sold then the price doubled a week later.
The purpose of the above story is panic always costs the investors. Stay calm and treat it as just money which can come and go. Be smart and sensible and you will get a better result.

They may have been highs when you bought it, but it wont be the final high. It happened with Amazon at the 2001 crash, with banking stocks in 2008 and they all rose above that. If you can HODL on and are not desperate for the money then HODL. My view is we will see new highs before end of November this year, and further highs afterwards.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you buying now? on: April 21, 2018, 12:01:26 PM
Great question particularly after a great week of gains

Buying and HODLing:
  • XRP
  • BTC
  • ETH

Buying for a short term double money strategy
  • ETN - Yes people hate this coin, but just as many will pump it up to 6c

Buying ICO:
  • COOL COUSIN ICO
  • ODDUP/UPNETWORK ICO

Selling:
  • NEO - gains are done
  • EOS - gains are done
