1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what causes the price of altcoin down? on: October 12, 2018, 11:05:19 AM
I would say greed and a lack of knowledge, people are greedy and want quick returns, but if they would just hold and see where crypto could go the prices would increase drastically and we would be back at the ATH's very soon.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to start investing? on: October 11, 2018, 10:33:34 AM
Its been around a year since I frist stated in crypto and all I can say is research everything as much as you can before you invest in anything. If you don't understnad it or are unsure in anyway then walk away. There are so many scams around its unreal.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies? on: October 05, 2018, 09:21:53 AM
I don't trust celebs endorsing anything. For me if someone has to be paid to endorse something then their word is tainted. With crypto it can be slightly different if the celebs have accepted the coin they are promoting as payment though as it at least shows a belief in the coin.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: October 05, 2018, 07:21:10 AM
To hodl is a very difficult thing to do, but in the end it will be worth it. For investments to truly boom there will likely be huge dips before so unless you buy in right at the bottom it's likely you will see dips before the big increase. Strong hands get the rewards!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Ethereum without any investment?? on: October 05, 2018, 07:18:15 AM
Try getting involved in bounties or airdrops for coins, you can then sell them off and buy ethereum. The trick is finding a good airdrops coin to join.

The better ones are worth holding for longer though.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The path may be rough on: October 03, 2018, 08:14:21 PM
This is true in a lot of life, those that will really the greatest rewards in crypto are those who will hold on through the tough times. There are a lot of people now just waiting for the next bull run and then plan to sell off, these people will regret that in a few years time. Hold until mainstream is what I say!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will every crypto coin survive? on: September 28, 2018, 06:05:04 PM
Quite simply no, the majority will fail, I would expect 10-20 coins will eventually dominate and control the whole market.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget the past and move ahead on: September 28, 2018, 12:58:29 PM
I wouldn't say forget about the past, there's a lot to be learnt from the past, bear and bull times teach us a lot and can be used to help predict what the market will do on the future.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are your plan for altcoin on: September 28, 2018, 12:56:45 PM
My plans are fairly simple for now just hold what I have. I am hoping to hold for a good few years whilst it goes mainstream. Hopefully I'll have the strong hands needed.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MARKET IS RED AGAIN on: September 26, 2018, 09:15:05 AM
The market does seem to be like traffic lights these last few months flipping from red to green every few days. Although again like traffic lights it feels  like it's been on red most of the time.

There is a lot of hope for a green October and November but personally I feel it's going to be early 2019 before we see a return to regular green days.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What actual real world benefits have you seen from altcoins on: September 19, 2018, 06:29:47 PM
As we all know By blockchain technology we can store data in secure condition. Data security will be the first booming working area for crypto world, Secondly instant payment for buying a small cup of coffee if we can mass adoption then the real bull run for crypto will start.

I agree with you on this one, I work with documents that need to be verified so a service like this can be a great help. Having seen false documents cause havoc and cost people a lot of money having a way to quickly and definitively verify documents is great.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What actual real world benefits have you seen from altcoins on: September 19, 2018, 06:01:25 PM
Applications or humanitarian services, just really looking for good news stories. I talk a lot with friends who struggle to see the benefits of crypto, I'd love to be able to share stories with them about how it's changed the world for the better.

We don't celebrate the good stuff nearly as much as we should.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What actual real world benefits have you seen from altcoins on: September 19, 2018, 05:41:43 PM
Interested to know what actual real world benefits people have seen delivered by altcoins. Personally I have seen a coin that used part of its funding pot to pay for school books for children and sponsor sporting equipment for various schools.

The reason I ask this is that good news stories can be in short supply sometimes and it would be nice to share more about the good that comes from crypto.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins dip what to do? on: September 13, 2018, 08:59:31 PM
Basically just hold what you have. I have no idea what's going to happen but holding cwont do any harm as all my coins I got for free.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hold Bitcoin for long time. on: September 13, 2018, 08:50:25 AM
Suppose it all goes down to what you mean by long time, if you mean a year or two then holdings not a great plan, but if you are talking 10 years or so then holding Bitcoin is a very good idea. In 10 years we will see much much higher prices than now so you would make a lot holding for that time period
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what problems exist in ICO on: September 07, 2018, 12:07:51 PM
It is good to see someone giving proper thought to ICO's and how they could be improved. The problem we have the moment is that its not possible to see if an ico is genuine or not, the scammers outnumber those who are genuine. Its a bad way to be.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks disappear because of cryptocurrency? on: September 07, 2018, 12:06:12 PM
I don’t think that banks are immediately going to go away. However, I do think that banks are going to fundamentally transform the way that they operate today.Nothing will make banks disappear

I think some will go, probably the ones who refuse to move with the times. But you are right, banks will just adjust their play to work with crypto.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin fall? on: September 06, 2018, 03:18:27 PM
there are many people who will have gained significantly from today's events, over the past few weeks the price has been yo-yoing so a lot of people are buying to sell short term. I suspect its people buying at 6k, holding until around 8k then selling off. They then seem to be repeating it over and over. Good way of earning some quick money but not good for crypto as a whole.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think ICO investors are Decreasing? on: August 31, 2018, 08:34:06 AM
I think they are but also think that numbers in airdrops and getting into mining are decreasing. When the next bull run returns we will see a sharp increase in numbers again though. Far too many icos are scams.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How was your experience in joining bounty or airdrop? on: August 30, 2018, 09:44:27 PM
I can't fault airdrops, most of my incomeover the last 12 months have come from them, I've been lucky with some and sold at the right time but still it's reward for little effort in the most cases.
