I have just purchased 2200 KHs. I have been impresed by speed (and simplicity) of C-Cex. Also, if they would be total scam, nobody would bother to DDOS them.

Buying PFC at AllCrypt, depositing to HashProfit and buying KHs with PFC seems to be best. But promo codes are not bad either. Use HPE241214.

I must have been blond, but dan you tell me the location od wallet Giles and conf file. I have downloaded linux 64 precompiled version and cant find them. (I have searched for hidden files) I would like to set up for solo mining as I suspect some skimming may be happning.

Do you know, what are prerequisites for compiling or running downloaded wallet on linux? For example on Lubuntu 14.04?

I have just received mini A2 from MinerEU.

Please, note that A2 mini comes with connectors for 12V supply, that is ATX 12V1 8 pins connectors. 6pin PCIE connectors have reverse polarity compared to 12V supply connector. Never stick 8pin PCIE connector to ASIC as last 2 pins are ground!
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: September 07, 2014, 07:15:05 AM
Is there any plan to get the Skein algo running with nvminer or ccminer? I didnt see it included in the release notes.
This is fpga territory (as for any single algo), what do you have in mind ?

Myriad and Digibyte both support Skein as part of their multi-ago approach. AMD supports Skein so why not us? Keep everything on a level playing field.

I was asking for that several months ago.Skein is very energy consuming, like scrypt. back than Nvidia would have an edge due to lower consumptions. But Myriad coin proces crashed.

Honestly its purely because i dont compile now, and havent for a long time Smiley
well if you don't have to compile it doesn't really matter  Grin

djm don't provide this lazy guy Windows binary again Cheesy
may-be we can trade this  Grin
what about free binaries against a tutorial for linux install

That sounds fair
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: September 04, 2014, 03:42:41 PM
I beleive devs should be compensated for hard work.  I would suggest that there is closed community where devs would get portion of profit. E.g. 2% of mining profit.  You may leave it as optional,  just like boolberry opensource miner. And gee,  I would pay Wolf extra fees for his tweaks if possible.
I am against upfront fees, I prefer sharing the profit. Perhaps it could be implemented through default mining fees or by using special pool with % of mining profits gearing toward devs.

And please, no "windows only"  editions.

Got XCN to 5.2MH/s - 5.3MH/s per 750Ti: https://ottrbutt.com/tmp/xcnwolf750ti10.png

750Ti 1GB Does it work properly?

Do I need to pay any cost to use your program?

How much should I pay?

BTC? XCN?

No idea if it would work on a 1GB; already sold and waiting for a while before selling more/releasing.

Perhaps you would work with jk_14 to release your miner under KopiemTu distribution. Od perhaps compile it on KopiemTu.
14  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ZenCloud has to be a scam -- especially HASHLET on: August 21, 2014, 10:42:10 AM
I guess Hashlet is about operational efficiency both for GAW and customers. GAW may choose whichever machines they want, pocket volumen discount and offer reasonable price. Why they offer cloud mining instead od doing mining for their own account?  Well, they are reseller ofmining equipment. This is their focus. Why they offer Zenpool to The customers? Because they make more money reselling mining equipment than.   they would by charging 2% of mining fee like multipools. I may be wrong but to me GAW sounds like well managed company knowing what they are doingand what they are good at.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry: Privacy and Security - Guaranteed[Bittrex/Poloniex]GPU Released on: July 27, 2014, 08:14:01 PM

Hi people.

What kind of specifications for a computer to mine boolberry?

I am going to buy a computer for mining, but I want it to be able to mine out of the box with no delays.

Just get mining and now, kind of thing, without hassles.

I know that to mine boolberry, I need to have a 64 bit, so I reason I will look for a computer with 64 bit.

64 bit
AMD ATI graphics (but which ones will work to mine boolberry)

Should I also buy a gpu to mine with? if so, which ones?

Thank you in advance

I  suggest AsRock ProBtc or Biostar HB61 mobo.
Celeron processor.
Gold certified psu.
For boolberry ati may be good solution. You may get some amazing deals buying second hand gpu. But for any  other algorithm like jackpotcoin Nvidia 750ti rocks. So from risk management point of view you are better of with 750ti. Plus you need cheaper psu with it.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry OpenCL GPU Miner Discussion - Works on AMD & Nvidia on: July 27, 2014, 02:21:42 PM
Finally I managed to make it run. Basically I have deleted files, make git clone and re-compile the miner. This time I have used command make instead of make -j 5.

Few advices for installing on AMD/Linux. Don't use getPimp or Bamt. They are based upon old Debian. The only way to get required dendencies is by mixing stable and testing packages and that creates less than ideal environment.

Better way is:
1. unplugg all but first gpu  (otherwise Ubuntu fails to install)
2. install Ubuntu using stock drivers
3. google "unofficial AMD community" and get instructions how to install latest AMD driver
4. shutdown computer and plug in all gpus
5. re-execute sudo aticongif --adapter=all --init -f and reboot
6. install AMD APP SDK
7. install AMD ADL (if required, e.g. for Sgminer)
8. follow instructions on boolberry.com
9. before make command, execute export AMDAPPSDKROOT=/opt/AMDAPP
10. create folder, e.g. mkdir dr1
11. execute deamon using folder dr1, by doing that deamon creates json file
12. exit deamon
13. edit json file and change thread delay, make it 4000
14. create wallet using simplewallet and execurte command address to get wallet address
15. start deamon using folder dr1, wallet address and specifying desired number of mining threaths

basically you may follow any web guide for installation of mining rig, but you must unplug all but first gpu before initial Ubuntu installation

if you are sattisfied with AMD 13.12 drivers, you may install stock UBUNTU 13.10 and follow this guide

https://github.com/joshpatten/mining-bootstrap

afterwards proceed with instructions on boolberry.com

I am getting 811500Hs on Sapphire 7950 at stock frequencies drawing 148W from the wall.

I have set thread_delay to 4000, but still does not work.

Is anybody else using latest beta 14.6 drivers?

Is there a way to manually start single instance with mining_threat=1 that would bind to 2nd or 3rd gpu? Perhapss using  "device_index" field? Because in thatt case I would manually start 5 instances of miner.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry OpenCL GPU Miner Discussion - Works on AMD & Nvidia on: July 26, 2014, 11:17:52 PM
I am trying to execute following:

./boolbd  --start-mining=1F9hbj8w... --mining-threads=1
./boolbd --data-dir dr1 --start-mining=1F9hbj8wp... --mining-threads=1
./boolbd --data-dir dr2 --start-mining=1F9hbj8w... --mining-threads=1
./boolbd --data-dir dr3 --start-mining=1F9hbj8....  --mining-threads=1
./boolbd --data-dir dr4 --start-mining=1F9hb... --mining-threads=1

first instance works, but second do not, I am getting following error message

also setting   "thread_delay": 2000, and using 5 mining threads do not work

Hi,

I am having similar problems to Antonio with the miner. My environment is following:
-Ubuntu 14.04
-Biostar HB61 + 5 x 7950
- AMD drivers 14.6 beta
- AMD APP SDK installed version 2.9
- miner compiled with make -j=5

once I start mining in simple wallet using start_mining 5 I am getting following:

any thoughts?
