5830: 78 5830: 78 5830: 84 5830: 75 6970: 82
I am running warm.
Just upgraded from 2.4 -> 2.5 No considerable gains/losses. If anything I gained 1-2 Mhash

I've looked at mine and determined it is a combination of heat and AMD power control. When I up the AMD power control to +20, I can get the old rates but of course both heat and power increase so it isn't sustainable. I've also determined that the thermal throttling of the 6950 is 102.5*C. It will clock down about every 2 minutes, for about a second, which is why I didn't notice the throttling before. At a glance, I will likely still be looking at 830MHz. I can sustain under the throttle limit probably until the outside temperature hits 10*C, where I am. At which point, I hope BFL finally delivers... Don't worry about my card's longevity people, It has double lifetime warranty ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) XFX has already replaced my fan once because it broke. So try cranking up the AMD power control to +20 if heat is not an issue and you are using windows. That sounds like a setting that is only found in the Catylst Control Center. I don't have that installed on my machines. I found that I could get 20 of the 30 Mhash back by using SDK 2.1 instead of 2.4 I find it weird that 2.4 would perform differently on 1 card vs 4 cards. It seems like the SDK just gets bogged down.

Any luck with this?
I'm experiencing the same thing. I have a 4 card setup, 3 5830's and a 6970. All are down by 20-30 Mhash when together. Solo they each perform fine. I've tried cgminer, bitminter, and phoenix with same results. Mobo is a MSI 890-FXA GD70. Cgminer only uses 2-3% cpu.

Awesome, what major?

If you can sell the cards separately I would be interested in the 6970.
Quite possibly. Do you have an offer for the 6970? It is a non-reference Diamond. I would easily take $275 shipped to anywhere in the U.S. Thanks, Jeff 805-640-5863 (call/text)

Wow! Yah, I'm willing to bet $150+ Whats your address so I can check. I highly doubt it will be worth it. Or you can check Nearby Address: 200 McLaughlin Dr Santa Cruz CA 95064 United States I would love to buy this, but the shipping to downunder or Singapore can be prohibitive. If you can find a reasonable carrier, i am sure willing to buy.

REP: I have bought from CrazyBlane. But as far as this forum goes, that's pretty much it. On eBay I have 100% feedback with 221 transactions. My username is: jeffthetechie I would rather not part it out because that tends to leave me with pieces nobody wants. If you have an offer pm me or post it. Pics below. http://www.freeimagehosting.net/2aaf2http://www.freeimagehosting.net/7f60ahttp://www.freeimagehosting.net/fc803NOTE: Currently the mobo and CPU in there is an i7, they buyer will NOT be getting it. It will ship with an amd Sempron and asrock motherboard. Nothing else changes. 2GB ram in case anyone was wondering. Any Rep, Pics, proof of ownership...? Also would you consider parting out?

EDIT Added pics, see 3rd post.
This is more of a feeler. Up for sale is my primary rig.
Specs:
4 X 5830's running ~ 305 MH/s
Sempron Cpu with Asrock motherboard.
2 power supplies, one 600watt corsair and a 450 watt auxilary.
The machine is literally plug and go.
It is set to boot as soon as it's plugged in via the bios.
It runs windows 7 with 4 batch files in the startup folder to automatically start mining.
I used the phatk2 kernal on phoenix with the 11.9 drivers.
Dummy plugs not needed.
Bios' on the cards have been custom flashed to higher clocks. I will include copies of the original Bios'.
System is in a mid atx case with 3 of the 4 cards mounted outside the case with extensions (included).
I am in Santa Cruz (95060). I would prefer local sale (within ~100 miles). I CAN deliver. If you aren't local but are interested shipping is on your dime (must be insured).
I will accept Paypal, money order, cashiers check.
INITIAL PRICE: $700 now $650
Call or text me if you wish. 805-640-5863
Thanks, Jeff

CrazyBlane is a GREAT seller.
I paid him using my deepbit account and accidentally forgot to change my payout address back to my wallet and accidentally sent him all my btc. He sent it back right away.
Thank you so much.

You won't get an email. You can use multiple addresses.
I believe you are wrong sir. Tycho has implemented a confirmation system to change your payout address. You have to go into your deepbit account, paste in the new address, and hit save. You should then get a confirmation email with a link that you DO have to click. Then you are done. CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER. He has issues with a lot of mail providers flagging him as spam. I know gmail does. Best, Jeff

Hey guys, so I set myself up to run solo. I used guiminer to launch the bitcoin client in server mode and set up a username and password. My question is:
I have 3 different machines and 1 username and password that they all connect with. Does the server divide up the possible hashes so that each machine is working with a unique hash?
It would be pointless to have all 3 machines working on the same hash. I know that with pools you have to use a different worker with each miner, but I found no way to make "workers" when soloing.
Thanks, Jeff
I'm soloing at about 1.5 Gh/s

Hey Tycho, Great pool, I appreciate what you do for us. Hope you are making a killing on this.
Quick Question,
Yesterday there was like a minute or two of downtime which you fixed really fast. This morning I checked and have earned about .46 BTC (1.5 GH) which is pretty normal. But on my stats page it says I haven't contributed any shares to any of the recent blocks. Do you know why? It looks like I am still getting paid for my shares.
Thanks, Jeff

hmmm.
Well, I know when I turn crossfire off in the driver, windows still sees 3 separate cards. But unless the crossfire is enabled, the miner has problems picking them up via device number. I am using phoenix 1.50

Hi guys, Other than trying to get my post count up, had a few crossfire questions.
Currently I have a 5850 (2 crossfire connections) as a central card with one 5830 one either side, each one using one of the 5850 connections. This give me tri crossfire which can be seen on my windows machine with phoenix. However, trying to overclock with trixx only shows one set of settings.
Is the 5850 downclocking to jive with the other two cards?
Does the 5850 take the overhead hit for running the crossfire?
Should I run linux instead so I don't have to use crossfire? (I was told linux could address all three cards individually with no crossfire bridges. )
Thanks, Jeff
