When you send your bitcoin from your cold storage wallet to your active-spending wallet, one problem is that your cold storage wallet is technically no longer cold storage. I have about 15 empty wallets that were created using offline secure methods, and another one that currently acts as my cold storage wallet. Once I'm ready to spend money, I load the cold storage wallet and start spending. If anything is left over, I send the remaining balance to one of my other secure wallets, and throw away the old wallet.

I'm currently mining dogecoin on some old hardware of mine. It's not very profitable at the moment, but with my computer always on at the moment as a HTPC, why not let it run?

I was actually searching for one gram silver rounds of all things! I noticed a few members on this forum had created one gram silver rounds to commemorate bitcoin, and I wanted to see if I could get my hands on some. I love collecting silver, not as an investment, but as just a personal interest.
I've been aware of Bitcoin since the summer of 2013. With the past school year finished, and myself on break, I finally have the time to investigate it further.
