Looks like BTC is backed by speculative USD Smiley

The real question is, can one survive solely on BTC. There needs to be a big market for BTC otherwise the price will fall to worthless.

Bump! I know C#, Java, PHP, C++, C, HTML, CSS, Javascript. I can even do Bitcoin related projects. Turn me into a believer, someone purchase my service or donate me a coin or two so  I can spend them.
6  Other / Obsolete (selling) / sgorman's computer support/programming services for sale! on: June 09, 2011, 06:51:56 AM
Hello BTC owners,

I have spent a good amount of lurking and set myself up and I am ready to start my services here. I have read and heard about this site now for the past week now, and tonight I craved into this P2P madness. This post is pretty much an experiment and a sweet time killer/investment combo, a feel for the market of bitcoin. I will be traveling across the markets if they do indeed mature out and hopefully I am at the right place. Smiley

So what can I do for you?

Solve your computer science problems:
- Programming
- Tech Support
- System Work
- Tutoring
- Ask me if I can do it for you!

NOTE: I am not an artist, I am a coder.

Let me tell you my background:

I am Computer Science student in college, currently a senior, living on my own since 21. I am known amongst my circle of friends and family as the computer guy and have many years of experience solving computer problems. I have been a hobby programming for 8+ years and have recently started turning my hobby into my dream profession. I am currently employed as a software engineer but would like to buy some new things for myself without actually spending any money, but the problem is I am a poor college student with loads of debt. I intend to spend my BTC on actual tangible goods making the market realize itself. I also love me some pizza so if I can feed myself by doing a little part time work that would make my life that much better.

So here is my my proposal:
I can do any VOIP program (skype preferred) and for an invested client I can be reached by email or phone.  I have experience in the field, plus plenty of experience outside of profession. I have plenty of time so don't be shy to make an actual offer for a lot of my time. We will have to negotiate this of course.

Prices:
1BTC for the first hour and .5BTC for each additional hour for tech support.
Programming projects will require to be negotiated by us and paid partially upfront.
Prices are subject to change with market supply/demand. Get me now at such a low rate while you have the chance.

Interested?

PM me with your job opportunity, time availability and contact information and I will reply to you my contact information and matching time availability (plus a confirmation on the job). Make sure to include your time zone in your reply as I am EST.

Thanks so much for your interest in my service,
sgorman
