2  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: February 12, 2014, 06:55:39 PM
So, I use importprivkey to get the private key into bitcoind. Will it then automatically detect payments to my vanity address? No need to get bitcoind to recognize the vanity address?

Pretty much, yeah.

Terk, sorry that I only got to making this post now but I've been really busy lately.

I've been mining since January 4th and have had a phenomenal experience with Terk.
I've had an externally successful profit rate and have been pleased by how hard of a worker Terk is.
Every time there is a problem, he steps up as the pool operator and fixes them ASAP.

It's strange that everyone was having disconnect problems but it seems like my miner was perfectly fine for the last 11 Hours (That's when I last restarted it).

Thank you very much for the great quality of service you're providing Terk.

Can't wait till you get everything sorted out and the API up and running, I've got a few programs sitting and waiting Grin

I'm pretty sure it will work with a jumper wire in the two slots that aren't working Smiley.
They really aren't difficult to make and install, so the best would be to just try them first.
I'm sure you won't need any help since that article does explain a lot (there are also a lot of other articles out there), but if you do, don't hesitate to ask.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin - The World's First Rewards Coin - Mandatory update to v 1.3 on: January 28, 2014, 01:00:12 PM
Just a reminder that there is still a Tagcoin Faucet up over at http://tag.faucet.pimplounge.com/ but unfortunately it's empty at the moment..
For those of you that aren't sure what the Faucet is made for or is meant to do, take a look at the Info Page.

If anyone was to donate to the Faucet I would (and I'm sure many other people would too) be very grateful.
TAG Address: TFaucetGEbtyAz3wE5fgDxQC2NZTVQQjiS

Just to clarify, I don't make anything off this Faucet but am hosting it (and made it) free of charge.

If anyone has any suggestions on things I can do to better the Faucet, I'm listening Cheesy!

I'll have some news tomorrow about launching the pool for public. Stay tuned!

Don't do it, keep it VIP only.  Cool

I'm not sure everyone here is understanding how this works Undecided..
I'm not sending TAG to people's addresses, you guys have to donate to the faucet and/or put your address in the website to receive TAG...
If you go to the Info Page on the site, it explains it all.

i cant open ur link  Grin

Hmm, it's working fine for me.
What Browser & OS are you using?

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: R9 280X Buying Advice on: January 04, 2014, 06:51:59 PM
I've got the MSI Radeon R9 280X OC and I've had no problems with it..
If I'm honest, I struggled a bit getting it set up and running at 740-750 khash/s because when I first put it in I got 580 khash/s average.
Although I am running it on the same board as my NVidia GTX 770 and that was probably one of the biggest contributing factors to the problems I had.
It's got the default cooler on and running at 75°C average with the fan at 100%.. Honestly it isn't that loud (no where close to as loud as my 770 at 100%).

Here is my config for when you get it:
Code:
"expiry" : "1",
"hotplug" : "5",
"no-submit-stale" : true,
"queue" : "0",
"scan-time" : "1",
"scrypt" : true,
"shares" : "0",
"gpu-threads" : "4",
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"gpu-engine" : "1080",
"gpu-fan" : "100",
"gpu-platform" : "0",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500",
"gpu-memdiff" : "0",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"gpu-vddc" : "0.000",
"intensity" : "13",
"temp-target" : "75",
"temp-overheat" : "85",
"temp-cutoff" : "88",
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "256",
"lookup-gap" : "0",
"shaders" : "2048",
"thread-concurrency" : "11200",
"no-pool-disable" : true

For some reason it is important to run it at 13 intensity and OC it to 1080. Anything above and I lose khash/s exponentially.

sounds good, but too risky to trust anyone.

It is pretty risky, but seeing as he is showing you your profits for each day it should be fine.
If I don't get a payment within 5 days for one of the days, I will stop mining because I wouldn't want to waste any more time..
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TAG] New Tagcoin Faucet (FREE Tagcoin Giveaways) on: December 31, 2013, 05:02:17 PM
Some donations have been sent and the faucet is no longer empty.
Keep the donations coming Wink!

I've created a TagCoin Faucet over at http://tag.faucet.pimplounge.com/

I would love to see the community grow and I only hope that people keep donating to the Faucet.. because without donations, it's useless.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TAG] New Tagcoin Faucet (FREE Tagcoin Giveaways) on: December 29, 2013, 11:23:34 PM
I added some more TAG to the account but I don't have any left so donations would be greatly appreciated.
