I like inbit or coinabit

But I would prefer inabit or coininabit. Cheesy

Hope this helps, I wish you success with your endeavors.

2  Economy / Economics / Re: losing faith on: April 20, 2014, 03:45:56 PM
The OP talks about wanting to spend his BTC.

The responses are referencing getting rich quick and remembering the past dips rebounding.

Hilarity.

They don't care, just say the same all the time, to the moon blah blah.
English is not my main language, but was pretty easy to understand what OP was saying. He wanted to buy something with BTC, in the process of getting bitcoins and doing the transaction the price changed.

Yes, no one can really say what the price of bitcoin is going to do. It would seem most practical to me for a 'believer' to have a buffer wallet with spend-ready coins, then aim to replace them through exchanges or something like local bitcoins (although this all depends on personal finance etc.).

It seems odd that the OP would not at least have perceived the risk of his bitcoin value decreasing through the time taken to undergo the transaction via exchanges, though? Even through local bitcoins it can take up to a few hours depending on the availability of the seller. You can't just lose faith over something that is common knowledge and experience?

I think people are forgetting how early it is still. Nearly 50% of the UK or something daft like that want to ban it because they don't understand it. So much uncertainty still.

Just my opinion, of course.

3  Economy / Economics / Re: Is anyone else tired of hearing bad Bitcoin news ?! on: April 20, 2014, 03:29:17 PM
There is plenty of good news in bitcoin, you just have to look a little harder for it. As with all things, the bad events seem to get the majority of the headlines.

4  Other / Off-topic / Having fun with BrotherJohnF's QR Code on: January 10, 2014, 10:23:39 PM
So I'm watching a video on Brother John F's youtube channel and noticed the donation QR code on his website.

I also noticed some other things...  Shocked

I was greeted by a rather friendly looking face.

A fish?

And I can't unsee this dog.

ZOMBIE!

It was fun for a while anyway.

Funds released and now in BTC-e Grin

Ok so now let's try the return journey.

BTC-e --> Okpay (euro) --> currency fair --> GBP My Bank

Please keep let us know if you have success! Is it safe to assume it will be ok given that the outward transaction was processed? Then again, you never know...

Few UK on here Smiley good to see. Just need some UK based merchants now...

Snow in UK (excludes Scotland they usually get some):

1. Tiny sheet of snow (1-2 inches)
2. Gets trodden on and mushie-greyed up
3. Refreezes overnight
4. Paths everywhere death traps

I fall over every time we get some snow as this always happens where I live, maybe I should get some spiked footwear.

But yeah I agree that it has indeed been pretty mild so far, apart from the storms.

You can now withdraw in BTC on OKPAY, anyone have any experience of this?

Dave,

Thanks so much for your post. This is something I am hoping to look into over the coming months, I must admit I have only skirted over the issue of Ubuntu/Linux and am somewhat of a noob. I will definitely check your website out for some information.

Why do you think your hardcore ubuntu guys are kicking up such a stink? Doesn't the bitcoin discussion cross over into this field somewhat and make it relevant?
