I know there are a handful of smaller marketplace sites like cryptothrift, coindgig, bitdazzle, etc. that are in business. I have been a longtime seller on eBay and would love to sell some items for bitcoins but it's hard to tell from looking at these sites whether they actually have much traffic. Who has actually bought or sold items on any of these sites, and what was your experience like?

I wouldn't call Bitvisitor a scam, in fact since I last posted they did sort things out and I received my payment after all. They are one of the best bitcoin earning sites out there, in my experience.

I've had very good luck with Bitvisitor in the past and have received payments promptly after I hit 60. However, I was supposed to get one this week and like you my balance was reset to zero but I didn't get the payout. I hope they get this straightened out or nobody will want to participate anymore.

I agree with versace. I tried for over a month after linking my bank account, credit card, etc. and they just cancelled every order I put in. I was never able to buy from them at all, and no explanation other than the usual "high risk" nonsense.

I've been using Armory and like it a lot. It's supposed to be the most secure, and I found it easy to use and set up.

Just wanted to add my voice to the chorus about Coinbase difficulties. I went through the full verification, linked bank account, etc. and was told I was all set to begin purchasing. I tried on 4 separate occasions and every one was shot down as "high risk", even once when the price of bitcoin went down over $150 while I was waiting for my order to be filled. It looks to me like Coinbase just doesn't have enough bitcoins to sell. This, coupled with the fact that localbitcoins is essentially useless in my area is causing me to become very disillusioned with bitcoins in general. How are they ever going to become the currency of the future if you can't even buy any?
