Some quick info on development: The code is busy being refactored and optimized. Development is now taking place in three branches, development, staging and master. Already some commits have trickled through to master. A major overhaul in maintainability and a new ui is on its way from development to staging. If anyone is up for it, the testnet is now also being used again to test changes in the development and staging branches to ensure that only hardened and well tested code enters the master branch.

Besides being arbitrary what the price per full coin is, the next coin to shoot up in value is going to be Gridcoin: gridcoinnetwork.org

I think what will happen is that governments will start whitelisting bitcoin addresses and not tolerating any transactions over unlisted addresses. So they will control anyting going through the whitlisted addresses and will make any contact to unlisted addresses illegal.

For day-to-day trading look at any altcoin with a lot of fluctuation. Otherwise a good long-term investment at the moment is Gridcoin, a coin with scientific backing.

There are some regional Bitcoin Meetups. Depending on were you live you can join one of them.

I would rather have a Bitcoin Credit and Loan institute as opposed to your more traditional approach to banks. I do not understand why this kind of service has not been offered yet on a larger scale.

The Intel driver may have disabled some features. Try uninstalling the AMD driver, reinstall the Intel driver, then install the AMD driver again. If that does not work: Get rid of the Intel Driver! AMDs driver architecture is already so bad, a 5 year old Korean kid could come up with a better one. You can't expect it to run side by side with another driver, or you gonna have a bad time.

It is not too late yet for Gridcoin, if you hop in now, you will make some good profits. The coin is slowly gaining in momentum and its price has been stable since the first transaction took place, a sign of long-term profit.

At the moment it is definately Gridcoin. I really do not know why there are not more people mining it, because it has everything the other coins lack and is super-profitable to mine, more profitable than any other coin listed on multipool or on an exchange.

I suggest 2 powered risers and a minimum of 4 gigabyte ram. Happy mining!

So many different currencies are definately not needed. Most are just pure clones without any innovation or new thought. It's simply about who came up first with this "phantastic" idea. This is sad because they take the air away from those who actually incorporate true innovation and that were developed in a diverse community, like Gridcoin. It is this kind of diversity all miners should be supporting.

Unlike Bytes, hashes don't multiply by 1024 from Terra to Peta. So yep, it's higher than a trillion
