i agree we'll be in a volatile position for a while, until the Minexplatform is released, but until then I'm holding and soaking in the interest.

To me it's still one of the best investments due to the low market cap and surprisingly little advertising. It's got a lot of potential to moon and that's pretty much the main reason anyone invests in crypto anyway.

Good for you. I have a feeling we're pretty much at the lowest point already. I'm not too concerned my fellow dude, this is long term. Besides I have a job, I can afford to lose. I got involved in this because of the Minex platform, that is huge since it will replace the need for an intermediary such as Ebay and Amazon for buying and selling, plus it's got anonymity which those current platforms don't have. Once the tools are fully in place to keep it's value from changing too much I see this being a proper alternative to banks, savings, buying/selling, services, etc... So until then I'm just holding on and parking

If you look at Minexcoin on Coinmarketcap you can see that it is more stable than most of the other cryptocurrencies, compare the last 3 months of Minexcoin to Litecoin and see for yourself.
Minexcoin is doing a good job controlling it's value and smoothing out any pumps. When the platform is released then it can smooth out and control the dumps.

Minexcon has never claimed to create a trading bot like Bitconnect did, this coin is self regulating, it relies on the source code being extensively modified to limit the inputs and outputs of wallets at either the exchange level, or global wallet level (i.e. the Minex platform), and to control inflation it uses interest from a massive premined reserve which is constantly being refilled via miner tax.

Currently one of these systems has been implemented and we are just waiting on the other one. If you read the whitepaper you would know.

It's only been 6 months since Minexcoin's creation, Bitcoin has been around for almost 10 years and it's still in development, things don't just happen overnight. When the Minex platform is created then we can see some more uses for the coin. Currently it's good for a passive income, it's still way better interest than most banks offer. As for the current price my guess is people got bored of waiting and they wanted to move their money into other projects while the entire crypto market cap doubled in the past month, basically all the people who wanted to make a quick buck left the project and now were left with the long term holders. I'm not too concerned with the current price since this is a long term investment for me.

Yes I can: https://minexbank.com/memorandum, that block denotes the final step in Minexcoin's mining tax, it'll cap off specifically at that block. You can see that any case where the block height isn't equal to 5,400,000 it'll produce a normal amount of coins, 2.5 per block.

You seem to have not even been paying attention for the past 6 months, punty. The Minexbank has always been autonomous and has had people check over the Bank's decision before applying the new rates, this is how they tune it and find bugs to make the Bank's decisions better in-line with the yearly goal and market situation. Algorithms don't build themselves you fool, that's why there's a team of programmers.

The sole reason there Bank's algorithm is closed source is because no one would benefit from it if it was open source, all it does is create parking contracts and allocate a small portion of the bank reserve for clients. If you got your hands on it all you could do is put your own assets up for grabs from people who opt in.

Think before you post punty.

Over the past 6 months any parkings which were made will always be locked in at the rate. If the bank's rates change while parking you will still have the old rates locked in for the remainder of your parking. From a software development point of view it is way easier to lock all transactions and keep a total of how much has been parked vs trying to change all parkings to favor the situation.
 On the 10th of may I assume it'll just run like it always has.

Hey long time lurker here. I invested in this project back in early November, within the first week of its release into the market.
There have been ups and downs but Minexcoin has always held it's value during rough times because of the strong community.
As for the reserve issue you talked about the rates have been marked as to when they will be changed and will be tuned to fit the projected goals of this coin within the next 16 days.
The goal is 70% annually but that doesn't mean rates can't change based on current supply and demand.
If it was a scam do you really think the developers would have given out their personal information on their website? That's like digging your own grave if it is a scam. I have high confidence in the ability of the Minexcoin developers to deliver on their set goals.
