1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto world vs Fulltime job? to establish better life. on: April 26, 2018, 01:54:38 PM
Trading can be very lucrative if you are skilled and disciplined.  But achieving that "zen" like psychological state is no easy task.  Take it from me, I have been trading for a very, very long time and I still struggle on a daily basis.  Afterall, it feels pretty bad when instead of going to work one day you could have bought a new car and at the end of the day you'd have the same amount of money!  Now try keeping a smile on your face when you have dinner plans with your friends or family that night.  It is a tough lifestyle.

Automated trading can help alleviate these symptoms quite a bit.  Not entirely, but a lot.  That is why I focus on systems trading.  This is a great piece of software to help you do it:  https://www.patterncap.com/product-page/gdax-trader

I have been trading for decades.  Before cryptos it was stocks.  There is no clear cut formula.  Some people have what it takes and some don't.  But there are tools which can increase your chances for success such as:  https://www.patterncap.com/product-page/gdax-trader

I am full time without sacrificing my other responsibilities.  I am lucky enough to work at a computer all day so I keep this program running on one monitor https://www.patterncap.com/product-page/gdax-trader and do my other work on another.  It's great because it is auto trading for me and I just have to keep an eye on it.

This is one of the toughest spaces to make predictions.  There are a number of technicals showing both bullish and bearish indications.  There is historical precedent for significant upside as well as a total implosion.

I'm trying not think about it long term and just trade the daily gyrations.  This is a great tool to do that with:  https://www.patterncap.com/product-page/gdax-trader
