I Think people who studied hacking and all these coding should be registered on a database so the NSA can watch them, maybe we will have less hackers in the world
Sounds like a terrible fucking idea that goes against everything bitcoin supports. ...not that everybody who studies coding/hacking isn't already in an NSA database, though.

I would put them in cold storage with the wallets stored on usb sticks, splitted in 5 bitcoins each pendrive.
That's stupid, unless you have multiple backups of each flash drive. Just store it all on one flash drive and back the same wallet up onto 5 or so more mediums of storage. Keep an unencrypted copy or two and encrypt the rest. Send some of the encrypted ones to relatives/very good friends.

by far too much.
lower bid for BTC60 BIN : BTC100 + BTC0.20 every bid . Needs to be lowered. A lot. This is a couple thousand dollar domain, not a $xx,xxx domain A couple thousand dollars is really pushing it. More like 20 bucks. Considering how popular Silk Road and similar sites are getting, anonymousmarket.com would be a pretty prime site as a informational site or such. Couple thousand would be pushing it, but its a several hundred dollar domain at the least. Probably gets quite a bit of natural traffic. It's a 16-character domain, which is pretty terrible. There isn't much of a market for a clearnet informational site about deepweb markets. If someone is going to make a site like that, they'll probably go with a more branded approach - like DeepDotWeb. A 16-character domain in a tech-oriented industry is going to get nearly zero natural traffic. Your grandma may type "knitting.com" into the address bar (hoping for a knitting website), but no geek is randomly typing "anonymousmarket.com" hoping for information about an anonymous market. anonymousmarket.com was registered by OP on August 5, 2014.Yes. OP is trying to get 100 bitcoins for a domain he registered 4 days ago. 4 days ago this domain was worth $5-$10. Now it's apparently worth $50,000+.

We're really at an interesting spot right now. The price has been sort of pinned to $600 due to the government sale, yet it does look kind of weak right now. Is a retrace back to the $450 range of a couple months ago possible? Maybe. I don't think it will ever go below the $400 range ever again, though.

The Mintpal voting has the scrypt picoin this entire thread is about. They posted the link on Twitter earlier.

Whatever people think of the coin this thread is about it crushes the 3-coin "relaunch" like a grape. I am not getting involved with more nonsensical arguments so this is my final response as I have better things to do than argue about a coin I own a few of.
Good luck with that coin. I expect to see pigs fly while eating pumpkin pie that they bought with a combination of picoins and piggycoins long before I see people using a 3-coin cryptocurrency.
I love how you edited your post to remove the fact that you own some. Insanity. I said I was done with the conversation, but some of this stuff is just too egregious. I never edited my post to remove the fact that I own some. Look at the bold text. That was never removed. I mean, the actual text you quoted directly contradicts what you are saying. You are now just making up things. Do you own any 3-coin? Yes, I'm sure you do and it doesn't make me value your worthless opinion any less or any more because of it. It should be assumed that everyone on this forum has motives behind how they are acting. Whatever people think of the coin this thread is about it crushes the 3-coin "relaunch" like a grape. I'm sorry did you try and do something with the "this thread is about" but failed at a ismple task such as putting a url in with mask? Do you even computer bro? So please just go to whatever shitpool for this shittyripoffcoin you are using and blather off you nugget. Sad right? The guy is computer illiterate and thinks people will give credence to what he says. I'm speechless at how far you two are will to go out of your way to create outright lies and attack anyone who doesn't agree with you. It was underlined to emphasize and stand out, not insert a URL. That should be obvious to anyone reading this thread who understands the English language. It's not my fault you're illiterate. Not computer illiterate, but straight up illiterate with illiterate being used in its original form - as an adjective or a noun for someone unable to properly read and write. It can also mean "ignorant in a particular subject or activity," so it is becoming increasingly clear that you are the absolute epitome of illiteracy since you are definitely also ignorant. You know what, forget mining either of these two coins. Just go mine Trollcoin. It will be a way better fit for you.

This coin is an absolute sham! Wise up people! The real PI Coin is now offered at Atomic-Trade.com, which has a FINCEN MSB license and can trade USD pairs. I'm sick of people stealing other's ideas. The definition of insanity is repeating the same actions over and over again while expecting different results. Don't be insane; make the switch today and thank me later. Better than wasting your time mining another rip-off and expecting it to pay off. Don't settle for garbage coins with garbage exchanges. REAL PI COIN THREAD: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=504707.0LOL, what a joke. That "coin" stole this idea ("relaunch" a day after this thread is posted - lolwut?), not the other way around. If you bothered to read anything about this coin you would know that the PiCoin with a 40 page thread and listings on 3 exchanges is "based off of the original from 2013" (the dev's words) and that the coin you are linking to is just a piss-poor relaunch of a piss-poor coin. Regardless of mining issues with this coin only a fool would bother mining a "coin" with only 3 coins. And there you have it people. Do you see how delusional anyone who supports this coin is now? LOL @ "based off of the original from 2013". So you just proved my point. Fucking insanity. And aside from that, it's the block reward to cap ratio that matters, not the number of coins. What an utter fool... Not when there are only 3 coins. That would make some sense if we were talking about one coin with 30 billion total coins and one with a billion, but when a coin has only 3 total coins it is a whole different story. The only bagholders here are most of the people who buy sha-256 ASICs. I didn't prove any point of yours. The 3-coin PiCoin is a relaunch of a scamcoin that flat out sucked when it came out the first time and flat out sucks again. What does that thread have, like 3 pages? Seriously, stop being a parasite.

Rolling it back about 5 or so blocks to 775 for the fix would be a better idea than cutting out 55 more blocks than necessary. The difficulty only jumped during the last several blocks.
|
|
|
Block 780 was finally solved. This next block will probably also take awhile, but not quite as long. I'm no expert, but I think this is just an unlikely scenario and things will fix themselves and level out at normal difficulties over the next several hours.

Over 5 minutes per block? Yikes.
Bitcoin is 10. Yes I know and I rage at how long it takes BTC to move around compared to a lot of alts. True, a lot of altcoins do have faster block times. They probably chose between 314 seconds and 31 seconds. Of those 2, I support the choice for 314 seconds. It's still basically half the block time of bitcoin.

If there is no exchange listing, THEN IT HAS ALREADY FAILED. What exchanges are you on?
Very few coins (if any) get on a good exchange before they launch. I'd rather the devs wait for a reputable exchange like Cryptsy rather than listing on randomexchangenobodyhaseverheardof.com as soon as they launch.

no just remove the crapcoins from the forum.
or only let superior members post announcements of coins.
common? you think this is a good coin? its just another scryptcoin. maybe even a coinogen.
if it ever makes it to cryptsy. it will be hit by multipools and everyone will lose.
you go mine this.
If only superior members could release coins it wouldn't be a fair marketplace. The point is to let people decide for themselves and do their own due diligence. It has KGW, so multipools will not be crashing the price. I do not think coingen has KGW, so it probably was a manual job. Look- I'm not saying this coin is the best thing since sliced bread, but I can tell that people are actually putting effort into it and they seem to be doing a pretty decent job. The way I see it: 50% of coins are some sort of scam, due to huge 1%+ premines and instamining or IPCOs. piCoin has a reasonable premine, no IPCO and I doubt it will be instamined due to the advance notice for launch. 50% of coins that passed the above criteria have devs that actually invest time and money. Check. 50% of those coins that passed the above two questions have potential. This basically means that the coin has a marketable name, a reasonable number of coins and semi-normal parameters. piCoin certainly does. 10% of those coins (the coins that have the above three attributes) have something entirely new to bring to the table. So, even if piCoin does not have anything entirely new to bring to the table, it still is in the top 5% or so of coins assuming the launch goes well and the devs continue to support and promote it. Is it going to have a $100.000.000 market cap? Not anytime soon. Can it reach a $5.000.000 or $10.000.000 market cap? Sure thing. piCoin doesn't have to leave our mouths hanging wide open in awe for it to become a successful cryptocurrency.

btc should lock the altcoin announcements/ remove new coins post if just regular scryptcoin with 0 innovation.
there seems to be one/two teams behind a lot of coins!
So you think they should just remove the forum? 99% of coins have very little innovation. If everyone listened to you we'd have to lock down this entire forum, because most coins kind of stink. The ones that don't stink as much are the ones that end up succeeding. I personally think this coin stinks a whole lot less than most coins these days, even without much innovation. Catchy name, active forum, and devs that seem to be pretty involved as they respond to pretty much every post.

Wow, I have been waiting since the thread was posted a week ago. Launch is finally almost here. I will eat a slice of pie in honor of this new cryptocurrency while throwing 4 MH/s at it.
