Unfortunately, I am going to have to switch to another pool once again. I originally started mining with this pool but about 1 month ago switched to another because of the amount of invalidated block compared to any other pool.

Three Invalid block in a row is just unacceptable. I'm thinking there is something fundamentally wrong if so many of the pools' blocks are invalid, the chances of having bad "luck" by another pool just barely finding the block faster on 3 blocks in a row is miniscule.

One other problem is block #6431. I don't believe my miners stopped working for exactly 1:41:08 during the search for this block.
I can say that I do enjoy the occasional exceptional "luck" with short rounds with slush's pool, but the amount of invalidated blocks on average in 24 hrs, are worse than any fee any other pool charges.

I'm hoping that us that were playing while the site was down don't get screwed out of our chips that we won during the maintenance. Other than that, keep up the good work with fixing bugs and such.

Hey great work. I love the site. I've gone from 13 BTC all the way down to .5 BTC the past few days. It's been a roller coaster of fun. By the way, I recently tried to withdraw a certain amount of BTC and I got the message that the withdrawal was under review. All the other times I withdrew bitcoins I had the message that they were sent right away. Is there some threshold where over a certain amount it needs a review? It kinda worries me that my BTC's are in limbo and there is no way to see your list of withdrawals on the site.
I think a separate page with a list of all your Deposits and Withdraws would be nice.
Again, great work, keep up the updates.

I think you should get rid of that link right away. We don't anyone accidentally clicking it and infecting their computer. One more thing, which AV were you using that caught the virus, it would be nice to know, thanks.

I think that's one of the main obstacles that will face widespread adoption of bitcoin. I too was quite skeptical about bitcoins when my friend told me about them, but after a lot of reading I concluded that given the right circumstances and support, this could really become the next big economic change. Most of the population will not have the patience to do their own fact checking thus the fear of the unknown and complicated may lead them to avoid something like bitcoins. I think the best way to entice newcomers is for someone to make a very concise summary that intrigues the common man without overwhelming them with all the intricacies and mathematical jargon that most of us have read about.

My bad. I got too excited and didn't notice it was a 6850 instead of 5850. Ignore this post.

Yeah they sold out fast as lightning. I was able to order one but I'm just hoping I will be able to use it in my mobo. My primary computer just has one pci-e slot and ive got a 6850 in that one. My secondary older computer used to have a 8800gt in it but I managed to get a 5850 last week and get it working. The motherboard is an M2n-sli deluxe http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131013&cm_re=m2n-sli_deluxe-_-13-131-013-_-ProductNow I know that I will not be able to use Crossfire for the 5850 and 5830 that I just ordered because the nvidia chipset on the board does not support it, but I am wondering if anyone knows if just for mining purposes putting the 5830 in the second pci-e will be ok. As long as it is detected I don't think there should be any problems but I would appreciate if anyone knows for sure if running these 2 cards in the board is possible. Thanks for the help.

Hi I would like to get white listed once someone gets through all 4 pages of this thread so far. I made a previous constructive post in the mining section and would like to continue to add to the community and ask questions in other areas when I need help or advice. Thanks in advance.

Ive been unable to access these forums until a second ago. I think the two are related. Sell lots of bitcoins to crash the market + make these forums inaccessible = possible panic and larger price drop. Then the person buys cheap and wins when the market gets back to 30.

I've recently just started mining for bitcoins and after some of reading on the forums it seems as though ATI's 5800 line of cards seem to be the most profitable if you can get them at the right price. I was looking around and found that Fry's.com has the 5830 in stock for 130$ after a 50$ rebate. I avoid rebates like the plague but at that price and the possibility of getting them in 2 days for 5 $ shipping seems reasonable. Just wanted to let the mining community know. http://www.frys.com/product/6229240?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PGRebate: http://images.frys.com/art/rebates_pdf/DiamondV1_063011.pdfIf you know of a place to get this card cheaper please post it. Any donations for a inside info first post would be appreciated ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) .
