What is your --cn_config ?

--cn_config 15*15 is  default for Vegas. I'm using --cn_config 14*14 - this is best for Vega56.

Open your miner profile,go to Advanced and add --cn_config 14*14 parameter.

Maybe that will help Smiley

for sure, it helped

thanks !!!

I also have rig with 4 reference Vega 56 (flashed with 64 bios).
Here my best results with diffrent OS and BIOS:

what ppt do u use for ur 4xVega 56(stock bios)?

where can i find if ?

I'm using [Mining OS] MMP OS 2.0 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088988.0

i didnt flash my vega 56 but i used a ppt from http://vega.miningguides.com/#SoftTables

in gpuz, the default clock is 1408mhz and memory 1100mhz
clock 1400mhhz and memory 900mhz

my ODT settings
GPU_P0=852;800
GPU_P1=991;810
GPU_P2=1084;820
GPU_P3=1138;830
GPU_P4=1150;840
GPU_P5=1202;850
GPU_P6=1212;905
GPU_P7=1400;850
Mem_P0=167;800
Mem_P1=500;800
Mem_P2=800;820
Mem_P3=900;900
Fan_Min=2500
Fan_Max=3000
Fan_Target=75
Fan_Acoustic=2400
Power_Temp=70
Power_Target=0

You're using a PPT meant for a Vega 64.  1100MHz mem is too high (essentially invalid) for a stock 56, as it has much tighter timings.  Obviously it doesn't matter after you update your clocks w/ ODNT, but you should probably get a valid PPT.

Also, your ODNT settings are broken as well - your GPU_P7 voltage should be >= P6.  With these settings, if you're lucky, you're just running at 905mv, but in the past, I've seen all kinds of strangeness w/ out-of-order clocks/voltages.  If you really want to run @ 850mv, you need to reduce P6, as well as Mem_P3 to <= 850.  OTOH, if you want to run at 905, you just need to set P7 to 905.

EDIT: One last thing, you're setting your throttling temp to 70, but your target temp to 75 - this doesn't make sense.  Also, unless your fans/temps are set for noise reasons, 70/75 is quite hot, while your fan_max is actually what most people consider the minimum for mining on a ref.  I would set your fan_max to at least 3500-4000 (again, unless noise is a concern,) and fan_target somewhere closer to 55-60 (even 50 if you can handle the noise.)

thx for ur answer
where can i get a valide ppt for vega 56 stock bios ? Smiley

I wouldn't flash to v64 because that increase the voltgae on the hbm and make more heat.
But you say you use stock bios at 1100hbm isn't that vega 64?

Anyway. Try and lower your core clock as low as you can tolerate the drop in hashrate. This will reduce power and heat.

What driver recommend for new version 1.8.5?
Are we need to apply memory timing after that?

I still think that 18.6.1 creates the fastest code, if you are compiling.
If you have Vegas you can use the built in 'tweaking profiles' or use ElioVP's tool but first disable SRB tweaking with --disabletweaking switch
Ok then, ill try tweaking profile, if vega56 samsung can reach 2100+, ill move from teamred,
I like your api remote

My Vega56 hynix reaches 2100+, so you should do much better Smiley

Hey, can you post what driver you are using and what ODN settings? I know you wrote "just pushed mem up to 940mhs and P7 to 925mV."
But can you please elaborate a little bit on how you achieved that?

Cheers

what is the light mode with ODT that u mentioned in this video ?
i use 1.8.7 srbminer with 18.6.1 without softpowerplay table

@doktor83   I'm pretty sure that you are aware of all these occasions, I mean with the hashdrop.
Cards with 4gb memory dont have this issue, at least to me. They reach maximum hashspeed immediately.
The problem is with the 8gb cards.
Whenever I start your miner one of them, sometimes more, can go up to maximum, others no and they stay low all the time
even after 2,3,4 hours of mining.
Next time I'm starting your miner some other cards or card do the opposite thing. It's a random situation.
To help things out, you of course the developer of a great miner to me, I found out that running GPU-Z at the time your miner runs
and passing throu all cards one by one and then exiting, voula all cards running full speed. Problem solved.
But of course this is not a solution!!!
Maybe something with the interrupts?
I'm  trying to help!

On my Vega 56 on 18.3.4 drivers (HCC disabled), I run cast_xmr with the maxmem option and then when the hash rate gets a little higher than 1325, I quit and switch to SRB miner (56 intensity, 8 worksize) and then I get the 1450-1500 hashes

Some people have reported that if you do this with 60 intensity and then drop it back down to 56, you get the full hashrate but I haven't gotten it to work

When I had blockchain drivers, I couldn't get this to work reliably but I did succeed a few times by enabling HCC memory

in my case, i launch the miner with 60 intenisty, i kill the process and i relaunch it with 56 to have 1500 hs per vega56

I just tried again with SUMO on v1.0.0
I get the same problem mentioned above. Pool rejects and advices to switch to alternate miner.

When trying to troubleshoot, it was evident the documentation needs to be updated. Neither the help (-h flag), the home page or the front page here on Bitcointalk is updated with information on new algorithms.
Anyway, no luck so far with CAST and Cryptonight Heavy.   XMR_STAK works fine.

Here is the start command if anyone wonders:

cast_xmr-vega  --algo=2  -I 9  --nonicehash  --fastswitch  -S pool.sumokoin.hashvault.pro:7777  -u Sumo-adress.... -p "x" -G 0,1,2,3,4

What problem?
My config working fine with Cast v1.0.0 for vega56&64 (no --maxmem option for v56):
Code:
cast_xmr-vega  -a 2  --maxmem --fastjobswitch --reconnects 9999 -R --remoteport 5447 -G 0,1,2 --opencl 1 -I 9 -S eu-ru02.miningrigrentals.com:3333 -u user.here -p x3-vega64

Hi, what is -I 9 for? I don't see it in any documentation / help? Could you please explain? Thank you.
Intensity.

it does nothing

Hi!
I use 6xVega64, after enable --maxmem option, on my RIG, cast_xmr work better, but I see message:

Code:
HBCC Memory Segment is enabled.
Up to 3% higher hash rate can be achieved for this card by disabling it in the Radeon Settings.
GPU5: gfx901 | 64 Compute Units | Memory (MB): 8176

Radeon Settings not installed on my RIG, I use OverdriveNTool and registry table edited parameters.

if possible or maybe you know, how to disabling HBCC Memory Segment in *regedit registry table?

Win7 x64, 18.3.4
Today I tried this miner on 4 GPU rig. If I start it without -G option, it uses only the first GPU. If I try -G=1 or -G=2 it still uses only the first. If I try -G=0,1,2,3 it doesn't seem to work at all - no hashrate statistics, no GPU load, no temp rise. WTF?

try this

50 is for GPU1 and 53 for GPU2

I need my money for electricity!!?? When the wallet will start working?? Are we robbed?  Shocked

The web wallet is a down for server upgrades and fixes. You should download an actual Haven wallet as is always recommended.

I know what I have to do....
The wallet did not work properly a week before you turned it off. Ten days have passed.
Where is my money?

Any news about the wallet?

When we will be able to pick up our coins from the wallet?
Please answer to me. This is not normal and this situation is very weird.

The web wallet has been handed off to be run by another developer now as it became unviable to manage with the increased network load as you mentioned there were frequent crashes. The web wallet should never be used alone. You should download a local wallet from the website.

Good to know that you guys took the proper steps to solve the issue.
So we can hope that it will be back on line sometime in the future.

I have about 10 haven that I would like to recover one day... on the web wallet.
In the mean time I am not able to get the GUY wallet to connect properly. Surely user error, yet it is the only wallet, out of 10 different coins, that I am not able to get going.
Having a proper web wallet that just plain work, idiot proof (ala XMR or ETN) for a crypto that desire to succede is not a bad thing either.
It is just simple marketing.

For the time being I mine directly to TradeOgre.

how do u mine directly to tradeogre ?

when i launch srbminer after a reboot i get 1350 hs per card
and when i kill the process and relaunch it, i get 1500 - 1550 h per card
do u know why ?
the intensity is always 56

is that on heavy algo?

yes with heavy algo

first launch with intensity 56
