Well i can confirm to have started solo mining when there was still 4minutes left in the countdown, someone posted the password in the IRC, when i check the block number it was already at 330..  same |

We need a pool for this to be real CPU friendly. Right now unless you have like 20,000 cores you aren't gonna be getting any RIC.

My settings for 870Khs @ stock 975 core clock and 1250 mem clock.
--worksize 512 --lookup-gap 2 -I 20 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 32765 --no-adl
I use MSI Afterburner and set a custom fan profile. My fan usually runs at like 80% at 81-83C

What miner are you using and what's your config like?
CGMiner 3.7.2 on windows 7. I've been mostly trying with a default intensity 13,gputhreads 2 and some other default stuff. (New to cgminer so don't know the names by heart) R9 290 works with -g 1, which also means -i 18+ and TC higher than 20k Try these: -g 1 -i 19 --thread-concurrency 20481 What does the -g command do? |

can you use the maxcoin cgminer with nvidia cards ? because mine does nog work en read here that some actually pulled it off someone please help?
It works however my ti560 was 40000 vs 72000. I just used their compiled version with defaults and it ran, when I tried to optomize it cgminer would crash. What settings are you using to get 72Mhash on 560 Ti? I have the same card and I can only get like 19Mhash, but get 40Mhash with cgminer. |

Not sure if anyone else is having the same results, but my GTX 560ti is getting about double the hash speed of cudaminer by using cgminer.
I forget how you enable cgminer to use Nvidia This speed is only for keccak algorithm. I didn't have to do anything. I downloaded cgminer from http://maxdl.1gh.com/cgminer-windows.zip?nocache=0.4958481655921787Then set my .bat file to cgminer.exe --keccak -o address:port -p password Getting 45m/hash for maxcoin where as I was getting around 19m/hash on cudaminer Tried it but runs way worse for me. ~100 MHash on a 780 versus 160 MHash with cudaminer. Did you set Intensity to 14? I thought mine was running worse until I upped the intensity.. |

Oh sorry. I think this version of cgminer that just came out actually doesn't support solo mining. It only works with stratum.
You're better off connecting to a pool anyway. Even if you had gigahash speeds you wouldnt find a block for weeks at this difficulty.
I'm using this pool right now pretty successfully.

Hi guys, i'va setup the digitalocean en its hashing like an idiot. BUT i am not getting any yay's! Can someone tell me whats wrong:  I think the hash rate is too low to even get an accepted share. Those are very low hash rates. Compare my Core i5 3570k getting 8000Kh/s or my Radeon R9 290 getting 450,000Kh/s |

Comment out gen=1 or change to gen=0. This turns off the wallet miner. Make sure you have rpconnect=127.0.0.1 this lets you connect to your localhost Add an rpcport, it can be anything. I set mine to rpcport=2121. In cgminer change your config to cgminer.exe --keccak -o localhost:2121 -u ausername -p apassword substitute ausername and apassword for the username and password you set your rpcuser= and your rpcpassword= to |

What's your cgminer config? Also do you have a rpcport= specified in your maxcoin.conf file?

I cant wait for stratum to work for this. My nvidia card gets 4x the speed of Cudaminer and and 2x the speed of cgminer with aropenclmax

Dwarfpool works so good for me right now! I recommend dwarfpool for everyone. Also the cgminer on their site gives me 2x more hash than arOpenCLMAX miner. http://dwarfpool.com/maxI'm getting 450 MH/s per r9 290  What settings are you using for 450 MH/s per R9 290? i'm only getting 380 MH/s with a 1040 Core clock. [EDIT] Nevermind. Had to set my intensity up to 14! |

after you start how can you configure the intensity ? also -I command doesnt seem to work in bat file.

Hmm cudaminer wont connect to the max.rocketpool.co.uk Let me see if the CPU miner works.

I'm up to 1,586,000 RDD with just my single R9 290x. I hope it only goes up! I'm getting 2-3k RDD deposits every 20 or so minutes now.
