1  Economy / Economics / Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world? on: September 17, 2018, 08:58:49 PM
Yes, fiat money is very necessary for every individual especially to those who aren't willing to join cryptocurrency. Though to some cryptocurrency is better than fiat money, not all are using this because of its volatility factor. So others prefer using fiat money than fiat money.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term vs. Long term investments on: September 16, 2018, 12:45:08 PM
If the market prices are doing well then the short-term investment is better at least you can earn profit daily even if it's not a lot. But if aiming for a better reward or huge profit then the long-term investment is the best option. So for me, it all depends on the market condition whether I'll go for a short or long-term investment.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All alt coin become shit coins. on: September 16, 2018, 10:24:12 AM
All prices of coins in the market are dropping so we can't say that those old altcoins are shit coins. It's just that the market isn't going right at the moment. But once the market becomes stable then we can finally identify if some of those coins are shit coins.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make this world economically better? on: September 14, 2018, 01:03:33 PM
If every successful individual shows care and concern to others who are really in need of help then probably we can make this world economically better. Successful investors here in the crypto world plays an important role in the economic world. The best thing to start with is to form a group of people or shall we say a charity that helps the poorest of the poor to uplift their way of life by offering a livelihood program for their family. That way we can minimize the unemployed people and lessen poverty then the betterment of the world economy will follow.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is going to accept Bitcoin on: September 14, 2018, 12:30:50 PM
If this is right then it is good for cryptocurrencies existence. This might help to grow bitcoin and other cryptos all over the world. With this development, I think those countries who banned bitcoin and other digital currencies will likely to withdraw the banning of crypto in their country. Big companies who are accepting bitcoin makes the crypto world even better.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto world vs Fulltime job? to establish better life. on: September 14, 2018, 04:33:14 AM
I would say that having a regular job is better than a full-time crypto trading or investment. With your regular job, you can support yourself in your day to day living although it isn't enough if you need to have at least monthly saving for the future of your family especially if you are a blue collar worker only. So if I was you, take that full-time job then do crypto jobs right after your knock-off or free time.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you here for the right reasons on: September 13, 2018, 11:24:27 PM
I'm here helping to promote bitcoin and other cryptos to make it even more popular and widely used countryside without eliminating our regular currency/fiat money. Bitcoin should be taken only as a digital currency which is an alternative to our fiat money and not making it our global currency.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: September 13, 2018, 01:58:48 PM
Investments in gold/silver for older people is easy to understand than crypto and that maybe the reason why they choose these metals for investment instead of bitcoin and other digital currencies.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or everyone is concerned? on: September 13, 2018, 12:50:30 PM
Anything can happen because of its volatility factor. When bitcoin price drops, obviously it's everyone's concern especially to those who are buying bitcoin beyond its current price. Bitcoin price is going steady at around $6K so we all hope that it remains this way or may rise up a bit in a few weeks.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a required amount before you start trading? on: September 12, 2018, 11:13:56 PM
Bitcoin can be collected freely or you can buy it using your fiat money. It's your choice. And when talking about trading, I believe no required amount to start with. You can start it little by little. Once you learn the techniques in trading then you can increase it gradually.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people believe and invest in fraudulent ICO? on: September 12, 2018, 01:41:15 PM
The ongoing projects behind the ICO look promising that's why more investors are attracted to it and make others believe to invest in it. In the earlier stage, you can't really tell if the ICO is legitimate or scam. Therefore, it's not anyone's fault. It is just that the people who invested are just victims of this scam ICO's.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: September 12, 2018, 10:39:23 AM
Aside from investment in cryptocurrency, I run a computer shop since 2009. And with the rewards I received from cryptocurrency, it helps me to expand my computer business. Now if blessed with good fortune here in the crypto world, I am planning to invest in a real state because as the year passes real state become more valuable.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: September 11, 2018, 01:44:44 PM
Not all corners of the world know about cryptocurrency especially to those people who belong to the poorest of the poor. So I would say that the world is not ready for the cryptocurrency. Usually affected are those in remote areas who were not exposed to gadgets or haven't experienced the advanced technologies and don't even have electricity to light up their houses.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin price based on bitcoin price? on: September 11, 2018, 12:38:29 PM
Yes, altcoins prices are based on bitcoin price but not all. Try to look at the market prices when bitcoin is down, most altcoins are down also but as what I have said not all. There are still altcoin that is continuously rising even if bitcoin price is down.
15  Other / Archival / Re: is EVERY ico a scam?? on: September 10, 2018, 01:08:16 PM
No, not all ICO's are scam. But the truth is more are a scam and only a few are legit. And I bet this forum can help us out which one is legit and which is not. Just take time reading this forum especially those threads that mention about ICO's because some of us here have tried good ICO's that pays off.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after several years? on: September 10, 2018, 10:31:34 AM
If we continue to support bitcoin and other digital currencies then probably bitcoin will be widely all over the world and become more valuable in the next few years. And more and more people will be using it as a digital currency, an alternative to our fiat money.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just to complicated for the average person to use.. on: September 09, 2018, 11:00:47 PM
There is an old saying that says,

"Whoever you are
Wherever you are
You have to know one thing
You can learn everything."

So I guess bitcoin is not complicated to average people only if they are just willing to learn. Because as what I have said, everything can be learned if you have the willpower to do so.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think, will BTC again jump in December? on: September 09, 2018, 10:32:38 AM
It will but probably not as high as it was in December 2017. I bet it will surpass the $10K mark at the end of this year. Though it is only an speculation I believe it is still possible to happen because of its volatility factor.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto legal in your country? on: September 08, 2018, 11:36:43 PM
Yes, crypto is legal in our country but not countrywide are into it because of high risk. Our government already know about bitcoin and altcoins existence here in our country and it's just that they are not controlling it for some reasons. They are just reminding us about a KYC policy implementation for safer transactions.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: How bitcoin can help for working abroad specially OFW on: September 08, 2018, 10:53:36 PM
If both family members here and abroad are having coins.ph wallet then sending money from one to the other in the Philippines is much faster and easier. And yes, like what you have said, it can help the OFW to earn extra income depending on how they manage bitcoin and other digital currencies.
