I received offers for 6 BTC someone offers more?
For the Escrow:
I would prefer not to use the escrow because I'm the only one that is not protected by this process.
The buyer can cheat both me and the Escrow saying that there is something broken in the Saturn, keep my good one and send me back one that had already broken.
Or mine with my Saturn for a few days and after send it back with any excuse.
The right process for me:
The buyer can be access remotely to the Saturn so you can view that everything works perfectly.
After the buyer checked, send me the BTC and I send the Saturn.
This is so taboo to speak of around here.
The drawbacks of escrowing.
This forum is very hostile towards anyone who even questions the authenticity of escrowing. The burden of negotiating and transacting in good faith falls squarely on the shoulders of sellers. The fact is, I was nearly scammed of my 2 Jupiters less than 3 weeks ago from a "verified" escrow service.
A trade-swap with faulty hardware, like you pointed out, certainly does scare me. This can be addressed by indicating privately to the escrow something that makes your device unique though.
Ultimately, it's a risk for the seller to sell using escrow, as opposed a risk to the buyer, without escrow.
Lots of sellers are scammers, lots of buyers are scammers.
The nature of the crypto-currency market.
Good luck with your sale.
