pool. blabla has been updated to     poolserver. blabla   as the stratum pool address . ( pool. blabla was directing to a wrong IP and I could not update it ....  ( DNS bug ?!?! ) )

The pool config was being edited, so the pool server was down for a few instants.

If you get too many invalid shares, probably you mine with too much hashing power. Switch to port 3256. It is for higher hashing power workers.

Edit :

I just added port 3999 with difficulty = 10000 ...



The block reward is 50 electrocash plus the transactions fees.

The ultimate goal is to integrate a user-friendly multi-exchange GUI into the Electrocash Core GUI, so that users will be able to trade/buy/sell their Electrocash directly from the Electrocash Core GUI ( ie. the wallet app ) .


Also a long-term goal is to create an algorythm that would make the network require less electric power than most cryptocurrencies now available, but would be as much performant, fast and secure than the best algorithms. I personally believe that this is a necessity for any Cryptocurrency that thrives to live long, because cryptocurrencies that require a lot of electric power, cost a lot ( financially and ecologically ), and are doomed to disappear in our modern world, compared to those that will require little or less.



The philosophy of Electrocash is to be : Fast ( faster than bitcoin for example... ), user-friendly ( so that persons that dosen't know much about cryptocurrencies find it easy to use Electrocash ), easily tradable ( multi-exchange integration into the Electrocash Core GUI ), accessible to everybody ( like Electroneum's philosophy ), and Asic-friendly. This could change if a majority of users and miners believe it would be better to be Asic-resistant.

Other ports than 3032 might not work yet. Port 3032 is default difficulty



To mine solo :

Launch electrocash-qt       ( with server=1 in electrocash.conf which is in %USER%/AppData/Roaming/Electrocash/ )
or electrocashd and then :

minerd -o 127.0.0.1:9776 -u darius -p rucker --coinbase-addr="your electrocash address here... it must be linked to local wallet!"


As you can see the port  ( for solo mining ) for the local RPC server is 9776 by default.
