they can unban I believe.
what does BCX gain by ddos poloniex?
A 15 year jail sentence in a lot of countries. And in some places, a bullet in the back of the head for commiting an act of cyber terrorism.

what do you mean 3. Run clam-qt.exe with the --salvage wallet argument.?? I dont understand what is salvage wallet argument tnx
Go to your Clam wallet. Open a command prompt and type in clam-qt.exe --slavagewallet In Windows to open a command prompt , hold down the Shift key and right click in a blank area of the folder where you want to open the prompt. Then scroll down untill you get to the Open Command Window Here option. Left click it. You will now have a black box with a command prompt. Type in clam-qt.exe --slavagewallet Your clam wallet should open.

I will be shutting off my nodes at block 16000. I'll archive it and keep it for the dev if he requests a copy. I would like to see sandor do the same, what we have now is just nonsense.
Time for a shutdown and rebuild. What you have now is just another disaster in the making. Power it down, hard fork it, then sync it back up. (After testing it properly.)

I have a 6950 and only get HW errors when I try to mine. I've researched and other than trying -X13modold (Which doesn't work for me) I haven't found a solution. Is their anyone running a 6000 series with X13 or am I S.O.L.?
64x Windows 7 Driver Version 14.20-140522a-172180E
This works on a 6870 color 0E setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 del *.bin sgminer -k x13modold -o stratum+tcp://cloak.suprnova.cc:3337 -u user -p password -I 16 --gpu-threads 2 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 800 --gpu-memclock 1120 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --auto-fan --no-submit-stale --thread-concurrency 5600 --worksize 64 I used the miner from here: http://cryptomining-blog.com/2529-new-sgminer-fork-for-x13-mining-with-higher-performance/

Empty your mind... Be water, my friend what does it mean ? (I saw this already several time) It is a quote from an old science fiction show. To baffle a powerful enemy, learn to flow around his blows and give him no sign of your intentions.

That problem has been going on for 2 days now. Time to find a better pool.

We would like to thank Twilight community for joining us today. It's been 12 hours since we went live and we already have 1.4 GH/s network, p2p pools, a couple of exchanges, some promotion and very supportive community.
Now we want to ask you which one of exchange markets do you prefer TWC to be traded at? Some markets are more expensive to get to and even high volumes wouldn't help it. So we need to choose wisely.
We would like to hear your opinion.
Poloniex is a good exchange, busoni is the boss over there , talk to him

I am mining using this config: rpcuser=u rpcpassword=p listen=1 rpctimeout=30 rpcport=3333 server=1 daemon=1 gen=0 and this bat file for the miner: sgminer.exe --kernel darkcoin -o localhost:3333 -u u -p p I have found around 8+ blocks already, but they are not showing up in my Twilight Coin wallet. Not even under transactions with a timer showing the number of confirmations left. Do I have this setup right? How can I make them appear in my wallet?
Sounds like orphans, that happens when someone else mines the same block as you,but just a fraction faster. You would be better off at this point swapping over and mining at one of the pools.

If you could generate a list of candidates, wouldn't something as simple as a bash script (or batch file, etc.) be able to do the job using the CLI wallet?
This thread has the tools you need I think. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=85495.0

Is the block 5400 thing really because of BCX egotrip? Not believing if this is for real or not? (or being convinced that it's a scam, because thats basically what is keeps saying). Why not have a look and see if the devs keep their word. Looks like until now, they seem to be doing ok. Sure we could use some more confirmation and actual info from Iceland, but hey, let's see where this experiment go's.
Why break something that could potentially create something great for the icelandic economy. I'd be really disappointed if the DDOS will continue when the succes of the coin has been proven. You can always destroy it later if it's a scam. This could potentially be a perfect grass roots initiative to break loose from the financial ties that have dragged the country in extreme inflation. If it wouldnt be so cold, id consider moving to Iceland, because they were the only country with the balls to let the banks fail, while the rest of us is still waiting for that to happen..
Such a shame that some guy tries to compensates the feeling about his reproductive organ with a big mouth and bunch of botnet systems, when the worlds crypto reputation is at stake. Can't we buy him a nice hummer or something? I'll donate for that cause..
Oh BCXpress is a first class asshole alright. I am suprised he has actually lasted as long as he has. This latest idiotic move might just be the point at which he is dealt with permanently.

Hey guys! www.h2ocoins.org(Hint!) Scroll down and check the timer! Sorry for letting you wait! I'm on IRC in the private room with the developer and I'm waiting for news like everyone else! Too many screw ups and delays. You are as bad as a govenment department. Not wasting anymore tiime on this. Good luck.

It wasn't me but this shit is genius. I highly suspect the Icelandic authorities hired a crew to do this as the resources needed to do this, this quickly are huge.
Somebody took a version of CryptoLocker 2.0, you know the nasty little ransom ware variant that encrypts all your valuable files and uses asymmetrical encryption that requires you to buy the private key when you submit the public key and combined it with Auroracoin. The ransome payment addresses are the premine wallet addresses LOL...In addition it also has a wallet stealer and keylogger.
What's worse, it's being distributed via a large botnet in Eastern Europe and ESET is already on it. Meaning in just a few short days every major anti-virus software will be screaming like a scalded dog when anything AUR gets near any Windows machine that has auto updates.
It's not a hackjob of Cryptolocker, it's a whole new version.
Good luck with the air drop.
~BCX~
Regardless of if you had anything to do with this or not, suspicion will fall your way. And there are probably some who will consider you at fault. I would recommend tightning up your personal security.

I forgot to update my auroracoin qt client. I sent 2 coins to mintpal a few days ago. The transaction still shows 0 confirmations in my qt, and doesn't show up at all on mintpal. I updated to the latest client. Am I simply out of luck?
redownload the block chain.. use the block explorer to check if your acc still holds the coins... if you were on a fork i dont think it would register on the block explorer Thanks I will do that. It happened to me as well, I sent coins to mintpal with wallet 1.1 and It shows 0 confirmations. I update to 1.2 wallet, rescan the blockchain, but it shows the same!! Can someone help me solve this? Try this. 1. Make a backup copy of your wallet.dat file. 2. Open a command prompt in the folder where your auroracoin-qt.exe is. (Hold down the shift key and right click, then "open command window here" ) 3. Type in auroracoin-qt.exe --salvagewallet. Above instructions are assuming you are running Windows.

I'm interested in buying 100k HIC for 1.6BTC a time. Please send me a PM.
wow.. dev believes in his coin! he probably have 1M ready to be dumped 100 sat per HIC with a total of 672 million seems realistic. EMC2 went as high as 2200 sat at launch for a 300 MIL scrypt coin. Yeah that was a fair launch not instamine raped by the devs for hours... this shit should be 0 sat I agree, a ninja launch with a purposely low diff , without even a pool at launch only benefits those able to insta-mine it the most and is far from a fair launch, LOL yeah with most of the US sleeping and EUROPE just about to wake up..........PLANNED SCAM...... Good evening from Australia , New Zealand, and large parts of Asia , where it was still late after noon/early evening when this coin was launched.

Looks that something is wrong with sgminer on some systems. I've started mining at pool, 0 accepts\0rejects, tons of hw errors with different HW settings ( the same as during solo mining) - I had never seen that before with other coins. Exiting make sure your using the right algo. sgminer -k darkcoin ect....

Can someone please tell me how to set up the wallet for solo mining in bamt? I downloaded from github and ran cd src/ make -f makefile.unix I can't even locate the qt-wallet. Please help I have no experience with bamt , but you might want to check if that make command built a file called hirocoind if it did try ./hirocoind --help

New kind of premine - launch silently, instamine more than 3%, cuz everyone will get rejects.
also bad launch time, i can forgive ninja launch but not a bad launch time remind me of stormcoin Bad launch time depends on where you live. To me it launched at 7 pm.

Want to thank whomever sent me the coin, thanks. I've been having trouble getting on this forum as I'm new, and they didn't send me a confirmation email.
I seem to be able to solo mine, however, whenever I find a block, and I get paid, I get the notification of incoming, but it never shows up and it's not in the transaction tab. I does seem to show an address. Have I got malware with this wallet? I downloaded it from the first post! Haven't gotten any of my accepted blocks to actually pay out.
What could be wrong? Thanks for any help!
Orphans, it happens when 2 or more people solve the same block close together, only one person gets it confirmed by the blockchain, the other person looses out.
