Niceman, is it possible to set up email alerts for idle workers over specified time periods please? That would be an awesome addition!

I've added the install instructions to the first post in this thread (its 4 steps).

So you think that this shouldn't interfere with Step 6: Create cgminer startup script or Step 7: Create auto-start scripts?

I've been looking for something like this as I'm getting really frustrated with random hangs... For example I went on a training course for 10 hours and discovered a minute after I left my house cgminer hung for the whole time grrrrr.

The problem I have is I'm a linux n00b (shock horror!) and I'll need a little help if possible please!

As background I followed the cryptobadger guide completely for my rig, to the letter, and my concern is that I'm not too sure what I'd need to disable and how to integrate this. Has anyone got the knowhow to help me? I'd need a step by step what to type to stop the cryptobadger and move to this if possible.

If it is straight forward and I don't need to do much, feel free to point me in the right direction!

Of course, it goes without saying, whoever can get me up and running (without these infuriating crashes) will indeed get a donation as I would very much appreciate your time Smiley

I am an IT professional FYI, just not in Linux...

Just got on and withdrew everything I could (some left as exchanges aren't available) and confirmed all withdrawals via email links with no failures. Time will tell if it works or not...
got your coins?

Yes, they came through.

can you give me the blockchain id ?

Hmm, not sure how? Basically had coins of nearly every sort aside from BTC in there that I sent to various different exchanges such as Poloniex and CoinedUp etc. I only have the click to accept this withdrawal email from CoinMarket.io

I CAN CONFIRM I MANAGED TO SUCCESSFULLY WITHDRAW MOST COINS JUST NOW!

Perhaps legit after all?

Another overnight exchange bites the dust.

I do not understand why you all keeps funds in all these new exchanges. Exchanges like Cryptsy, Btc-e are fair enough but to trust these ones is surprising.

Becourse a lot of new coins trading on new exchanges...
Well.. i guess nobody keep all money on new exchanges but we need some btc to trade there...

The losses should be less then. A few posts above somebody mentioned he put all his mined coins in there like using an online wallet. Thats just stupid.

The exchange guy was active yesterday. In case he does not turn up you all should take some legal action. Open a thread in the scam accusation board too and request the bitcointalk admins for the personal details.

It wasn't the intention of putting them there to store, but to trade. I had hoped the days of downtime were legit and once back up (promised a few times within a day) I would be able to trade them again. Annoyingly some coins can only be traded there, there are no alternative exchanges.

Their  silence speaks volumes.....

Get the cops involved ASAP.

Unfortunately I am beginning to think this may indeed be the only option we have. I had great faith in this exchange and stuck with it for over a week of downtime depositing all my mining coins, seems I've lost about 10 days worth of mining now, around £80 which I accept isn't as bad as some but nevertheless still pretty rubbish...

The thing I don't understand, if it isn't legit why would it keep going up and down and allow some people to withdraw throughout this? I had plenty of opportunity to withdraw and perhaps foolishly decided to bear with it.
