My power is included in my home and my shop. Everything I make is all mine. All I gotta do is get up above "dust" level so some of it makes it to my wallet. This pool been running since 2011 and "dust" has been accumulating since then? Sounds like a fair chunk of change?

Who knows...maybe I'll "find a block".

HEY! FINALLY, a milestone. as many know I've got a pile of S3s for cheep. Got three in my crib but here in Phx when the heat comes up I gotta turn em off to run my Large AC. I have an off premise shop that I tinker my motorcycles in and waste time. Found out there's access to a wifi hotspot there. Been foolin for a month trying to get routers working out of a Ntbook. The netbook wifi ain't strong enough to pick it up but I came across an external TP-link directional antenna. OK, nowhere on the netbook to screw it on so it's a USB wifi antenna. appx $20 (also a tp-link) and my laptop connects. Unfortunately the laptop don't see the S3 on the other end of the ethernet port. Tried bridging it to the wifi dongle and all that crap but as soon as I hooked the miners to it it would drop the wifi signal. Welp after three weeks of dicking with routers turns out all I hadda do was "enable wifi sharing" through my USB dongle wifi antenna and I had one up and running. Then goto a simple netgear switch. It's a 24 port switch I got for $4.00 on Goodwill Geezer Discount Day....(tuesday). The point is there are five of them up and running between here and there so I SHOULD be above "Dust" level. Last I checked it said 2.24 Ths. I gotta work on remote access to try and do something about a high invalid rate. I may then consider moving a couple more down there.
It's been a fight, no doubt easier if I knew all this already but I enjoy learning and I AM learning as I go along. Gotta let em all ramped up, then on the next block after this I should actually see something in my wallet!
self taught is the best way

[...] West Coast Server? I) do not see locations by the server info on the website? [...]
It seems hosted at Versaweb. The Nevada location. Geolocators also point that way. What's the address for it? I'm using NY from Phoenix.

A hint for kano miners: Selling 11.85 th/s S9, works great. Will include two $250 coupons. See post in marketplace.
Don't want my S9-I can sell you just coupons for $62.5 ea (75% off). For those who think that coupons ought to be free...I got those for grossly overpaying for some other Bitmain item, hence need at least some back.
ok i'll byte (snicker), where do i find The Marketplace?

Welp, I think I'm done with three of them. The other two are at the shop and not yet online.

I'm thinking firmware then as I've no neighbors close and the home miner are running har wired to the router. Have not enabled outside access to the router either.

Doubt it, did a hard reset on all of em when I got em. How do I figure my "share"?

Hmmmmm, .Worker9 says it found three blocks?

Unapologetic noob here. I surely appreciate the personal response. Now I'll take a day or so to decipher it to my level of understanding.

I've power enough in my shop to run a few miners. No direct Internet connection but there is a wifi hotspot my laptop/netbook can access. What I'm stuck on it how to add a switch or router to connect a couple miners.

Anyone here got any experience/advice to running a miner off a wifi hotspot?
