1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: May 08, 2021, 11:33:50 AM
Is the minimum withdrawal for BTC the same for auto exchange? had around £25 worth of BTC on MPH for about 2 years (it was like 2 quid back in 2018), I tried to AE to something else that's cheaper to move and its been stuck in the AE wallet for days.

I have checked the exchanges for the pair I'm after and volume is more than enough (its over a 100 btc in 24 hours)

no there is mostly no minimum for auto exchange, what coins did you auto exchange too ? maybe it s a not much used coin

most popular coins are auto exchange after few hours, if it did not auto exchange, check if that coin is enable in auto exchange and if available (some are not)

eth/etc/exp/ dgb works

Trying to exchange around £25 in BTC and £7 in LTC to Ravencoin. That way I only end up paying 1 withdrawal fee rather than a fee for the LTC and a fee for the rest.

EDIT: Taken the LTC out as its taking forever to Auto exchange, just the BTC left now, not enough to withdraw on its own and still stuck in the auto exchange wallet.

Hi Patrike

Question regarding static difficulty for pools, I have around 20 odd pools that I mine on across several mining rigs, previously in order to set the static difficulty correctly I would just clone the pool and have separate ones for each rig, this resulting in a pools list that was fast approaching 100+, which is a nightmare for updating.

I have since condensed it all down to just a single pool per algo for all my rigs, but obviously static difficulty can only be set per pool which means for slower rigs it could result in a long share times and the faster ones risk being block/banned for spamming dozens of shares a second.

Is there a way to set static difficulty per algo, per rig (profit profiles maybe?)

I know that all CN V7 pools will have the same static difficulty, likewise for the LiteV7 and other algos.

Cheers

Hi Patrike,

There appears to be a glitch with the manual algo configuration for coin statistics.

I have manually entered XTL on the page as using algo CryptoNight StelliteV4, but when I close the window, the profitability data for the coin drops to 0 even though it has active difficulty and pricing data, If I remove the custom algo change, profitability data returns to the correct figures.

Hi Patrike,

Would it be possibly to have an option to manually change the algo used by a coin, with the numerous forks happening at the moment, sites like whattomine and coincalculators are often slow to update the algos used by the coins.

For example Stellite still listed as using CN V7 when its been using its own custom algo for several days now.

Hi Patrike, SRBMiner has just had another update adding support for the StelliteV4 which is due any time soon when it forks.

One thing I have noticed is that when you manually enter the config for SRBMiner the "algo" is always over written with the correct one, which under normal circumstances is fine, but several coins listed on coincalculators have the wrong algo listed.

Turtle Coin and Triton both use CN LiteV7 but they list them as CN Lite which obviously results in rejected shares. If you change the SRB config settings to the correct CN LiteV7 algo, it gets ignored and continues to try CN Lite.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETN network needs GPU/CPU miners NOW! on: May 31, 2018, 06:10:15 AM
I'm suspecting this is a code issue

https://www.reddit.com/r/Electroneum/comments/8n9aze/possible_minor_problem_with_the_fork/

This sounds like the likely cause, so yet again ETN missed something in their code
Hmm, I am not sure. The code was publicated few weeks ago. If there was some malfunction, I am sure that someone will announce that... Probably...

17 hours without a block is not normal, something is up.

Also there was no incentive for someone to spend days trawling over their code, maybe a bounty program may have found this.

Totaly expected, less than 10% of the previous hash rate and difficulty change because of the block time increase.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.5.5 on: May 24, 2018, 08:04:39 AM
Had exactly the same issue, pool rejected shares (invalid job id) on 3 different rigs.

Reverted back to 1.5.4 and all is good again.

doktor83 in one of the recent patches you disabled the restart gpu on startup option for all gpus except Vega, but it is also required for the R9 Fury.

I have found that if I do anything on my pc that requires GPU access (editing, 3d and games) after I am done, if i start the miner up again my hash rate is ~30% lower, but if i disable the GPU and re-enable it, hash rate returns to full speed.

How are your mining rigs setup?

Using power line adapters by any chance? Mine did exactly that until I setup a script that pings my router 24/7 and now it stays connected all the time.

Hi Patrike, thanks for the adding the SRBMiner config option and the other algos.

Any chance the config option could be tied to an algo or pool, rather than just a blanket config over ride in the mining software priority list for each profit profile.

Mainly because any config changes you need to do are likely to be tied to a specific algorithm, ie different intensity levels for CN V7 or CN Heavy.

Cheers Smiley

Does someone try litev7 algo (iridiumcoin) and does it work right, some experiences are welcome?

Worked fine for me mining Turtlecoin which uses the same algo.

@sootha

Any chance we could get a command line option that will allow us to specify if we want current live data or what appears to be averaged over a 24 hour period?

I see quiet a few times during the day where difficulty drops dramatically on a coin, but by the time the coin updated catches up the chance of mining it for a higher gains has already passed (from a profit switching perspective)

CN Heavy on RX570 4GB seems to max out at 59.5 Intensity, 1 Thread for ~750 h/s. If you have an 8GB RX570 you can do 59.5 Int, 2 threads for over 1000 h/s

Hi Patrike

Any chance you could add the following algos for SRB Miner on your next update (as long as it isnt too much hasle)

artocash

alloy

Both are supported by SRB Miner but cant be used as the config file is over written so cant be changed before starting.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ATIFlash/ATIWinFlash does NOT work on the latest/current Windows 10 update on: May 12, 2018, 06:49:42 PM
Can concur on this issue, did a fresh install on a rig yesterday with 1803 ISO, could not get system stable (high cpu usage with 12 gpu rig) and ATiFlash refused to work (does nothing when you run it)

Reverted back 1709 and it works fine.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AwesomeMiner Coin Updater *Version 0.8* (Plugin) on: May 12, 2018, 12:07:05 AM
Its AM abbreviating the coins decimal places 2E-06 is the same as 0.0000002

Its basically 2 with 6 zeros infront.

7E-08 = 0.000000007

21E-05 = 0.0000021

etc etc just an easier way to type it.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.5.2 on: May 10, 2018, 10:27:09 AM
Auto intensity for the R9FuryX seems a bit high, defaults to 59 for Heavy, 118 for V7, hash rate is significantly better when its set to 50/100

Any higher or lower and hash rates start to drop again.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AwesomeMiner Coin Updater *Version 0.8* (Plugin) on: May 07, 2018, 07:57:18 PM
How is the difficulty calculated out as I notice that the number sent to AM is not the same as what is found at the api address for a coin.

For example checking haven I see the difficulty is at 2224747214, where as AM shows it as 2603724778.85972, Haven is more profitable now than it is showing on AM, the opposite in the case for Loki for example, that has a lower difficulty in AM than it is on the network currently.

Are you smoothing out/averaging the difficulty out over a period of time before submitting it to AM, if so, would it be possible to add a command line switch to just pass the numbers unaltered? So that difficulty updates in real time with the network (every 2 minutes at least)

https://www.cryptunit.com/ is pretty good for cryptonight coins, ideal if your mining with AMD hardware.
