I'm looking to fork the code base of a cryptocurrency, mostly for educational purposes. But I'd like to be learning on the "best" code base possible. One that includes an ASIC-resistant algorithm and has patched any known exploits (like the recent KGW exploit). Do you guys have any suggestions on which coin to fork?

Well, I hope you won't be disappointed  Like the first post says, it's more beneficial to keep our word than dump all coins (since dumping all coins will reduce value to nothing anyway). You got some SPC coming your way! Agreed that it would be silly to dump all the coins. It's too bad the scam artists make it hard to trust people. Thanks for the coin, good luck going forward! |

I like the idea, though it requires a lot of trust in the devs. But I've been looking for something new to do with my one little ASIC, so I'm excited to try it out. Currently mining slow but steady at 0.5 coin per day. Can't believe there is someone making 600 coins per day!

We're pretty lonely over at Nut2, please to spread the hash around so we don't have more issues! Yes, we need about five times the miners we have right now! Come back over so we can get things evened out. It will suck for a bit, but it is the best thing for the coin! |

This is awesome. Looks nice, works well, easy to use. One problem that I have with it is that my portfolio changes all the time. Either I'm using some of my crypto, or trading it, or whatever. What I was wondering is, instead of entering a type of currency and an amount, could you enter a type of currency and an address? Then it could track for you how much belongs to that address.
Unless I'm understanding the way the block explorers work, I thought you could know how much currency there is in any address. Maybe this won't work, but it sure would be cool.
