updated graph, 3 weeks after the 1:14 split
3  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: July 21, 2014, 11:14:47 AM
Aaaaand at the current rate I've got a teeny tiny profit (less than 2 mbtc on an initial 49.5 mbtc investment).

Today's dividend has been very low but that was expected since we started the week with 2 high days. The graph still shows a predicted increase over last week, I'm pretty sure it will move down (low 0.0018 or even 0.0017) as the days go by.

New daily dividend, the highest of the week @ 0.00002200, brings this week to almost BTC0.0019 when compared to oldShares.

You're probably right, I'm pretty new to these kind of things and I fully admit it.
As I said in the last page, I only did an experiment buying 1 oldShare and adding a couple newShares after the split, I don't plan to keep them for the long run.
6  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: July 17, 2014, 11:32:20 AM
please advise if I get it correct how everything goes now - as there is no reinvestment into the equipment, PETA is getting more and more behind the difficulty. as a result, dividends are to decrease towards zero, until hosting fees will exceed the income.
as I get it, share price must crash at some point right before this happens.
how else can I see it apart from it will be and end of PETA?
if they do nothing at all it's going to be the end, yes.
But I believe they never said they stopped all future upgrades, they only said they're no longer forcing all users to give 50% towards those upgrades. Basically what I got from the whole thing (it might be wrong) is that now users can decide how much they want to reinvest… by buying new shares. If everyone reinvests 0% of dividends then the whole thing stops.
On the other hand, they could decide to buy new hardware since the previous debt has been resolved, or start producing in-house hardware.
Basically if PETA dies it's bad for shareholders but it's also bad for CryptX, so someone at some point should do something.

Regarding today's dividends, they brought the expected weekly/oldShare dividend up to 0.00185596, which isn't too bad.

Its also time for cryptx to get their machines pointed at p2pool, 7day luck/141.4% 30 day luck/131.9% 90 day luck/106.2% p2pool.info
P2pool is finally back on the right side of the earnings variance. We are missing out on quite a bit of earnings atm. Did someone email cryptx how to get the bitfury hardware working on p2pool? Wasn't it a pretty simple fix?
They must know about it by now. I'm guessing they want to be 100% sure about that fix before moving.
But yea, they should at least give everybody an update on the matter.

New dividends at 0.00001979, confirming that this week should close with a total dividend around 1.7-1.8 mBTC/oldShare.
newShares are still floating around 2.8 mBTC.
9  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: July 15, 2014, 06:25:17 PM
You're totally right, my mistake, I was leaving for lunch and didn't pay attention.

My experiment was this: I put BTC0.0495 and bought a single 0.0480 share (with 0.0015 left in the account)
After the split I bought a couple shares for 0.0056 (0.0028*2) with dividends money, so I have 16 shares.
If I sell them now (at the current 0.0028 sell price) I get BTC0.0449, but I earned a few more dividends so I'm actually at BTC0.0465. That's 3 mBTC from even, which is not that far away. Oh well, I won't lose sleep over those 1-2 bucks even if I lose them.

I did another similar experiment and got away with a "huge" 15mBIT profit, so I'm still in the green area overall.

Don't invest more than you're willing to lose, it doesn't matter if it's btc or usd  Wink

[edit] sorry, multiple edits to fix the new math
10  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: July 15, 2014, 04:45:52 PM
And, it's down again to 0.0026 BTC/share. Nice diagramming, using what software or website did you make this?
Aaaand back up at 0.00283 / 0.00279, it keeps fluctuating.

The software is Numbers, Apple's prettier version of Excel. There's also a (free beta) web version if you want to try it on a PC, you just need an iCloud account. It might not have all the function a professional needs, but it's perfect for casual tables and graphs.

Anyway, if dividends keep going like this I should brake even on my tiny just-to-try-it investment by the end of the week. I'll update the graph in the next days.

yesterday was unexpectedly high, it's going back on track

the share price has gone up a tiny bit though
12  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: July 14, 2014, 07:30:01 PM
0.00002086 BTC/share today.
lmao.  Talk about a harsh reality adjustment.  I've gone from thinking this asset would provide me with a decent weekly disposable income that just might grow a bit in value to a steady cheap cup of coffee everyday!  Whoo hoo!

Also agree difficulty will be ramping up here very soon.  Enjoy these paltry dividends while they last fellas.

Don't forget that this is a daily dividend and you have 14 times the shares now.

In no sane universe is .7% per day a paltry return. You definitely do need a reality adjustment.
If the past 3 days are in any way indicative of the trend for the week, we have an average of 0.00001838 each day.
To compare it to the old system you just have to multiply by 7 (days) and 14 (new shares for single old share), you get 0.00180124BTC for this week.

Dividends for July 4th (at 50%) were 0.00109321. Move them to 100% and you get 0.00218642BTC.
That's 0.0006714BTC less than the week before (June 27th) if it were at 100% (0.00285782BTC).

Sure it's getting lower and lower, but I don't see anything different than what it was already doing before the split.
I'm not saying it's a good time to invest in it, but it's not worse than a month ago either. It's following the same trend.

What baffles me is that 98% of shareholders voted in favor of the change. They basically said "give me 100% now, I don't really care about the future".
14  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: July 12, 2014, 04:31:25 PM
daily dividends are in: 0.00001724 BTC/unit
15  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (15GH/S per Unit) on: July 11, 2014, 11:53:48 PM
reverse splits happened..
After a spike in the 0.0060's the ask price is going back down, we'll see if it stops around the expected 0.0028 mark.

The results are in:
Quote
These are the results of the survey: 68% of all unit holders have cast their vote with regard to the outlined strategy change of PetaMine:
-   Yes votes: 98%
-   No votes: 2%

Based on these results we will go forward with the execution of the following points:
-   Convert the outstanding loan of 342,9 BTC to 4650 PetaMine units
-   Change the dividend payout to 100%
-   Reverse split of 14 for 1 unit.
-   Payment of dividend each day

Trading will temporarily be halted later today and all open orders will be cancelled. After trading stop, each unit will be converted to 14 units and trading will resume shortly thereafter.

Details about this week’s dividend payout:
243.53169702 BTC in total from mining and converted NMC’s

- 173.75750347 BTC as dividend (0.00211533 BTC/share)
- 69.77419355 BTC as hosting fee
PETA is at 0.0382 right now so I'm guessing the new shares should be in the 0.0028 range.

ho provato a guardare su godaddy (tanto per dirne uno famoso), e c'è scritto che chiunque al mondo può comprare un dominio .it
costa sui 10€ all'anno.

do you think so?
the first two times he simply got stuck in these confirmation-rushes. I suppose now he's just trying to get back on pair.
just like Louis… he started with a loss (like me), and then he got 2 wins. I'm pretty sure he'll try for a 3rd run sooner or later.

btw, i rolled a 97, that was pretty close too  Grin
