1  Economy / Speculation / Re: If history repeats itself, we could be in for a rally in June on: June 01, 2019, 09:50:32 AM
Traditionally the bull run starts in May and we have already seen that it has happen. June is the time when it is confirmed so anyone who is not hodling right now had better do some buying
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin lightning torch reaches Iran on: March 10, 2019, 12:19:49 AM
If you guys read the article there is a very significant paragraph:

Quote
Sadr later sent the torch, then worth 3,730,000 satoshis, to Bushido Labs founder Sam Abassi, who is also Iranian. Abassi later sent the 3,740,000 satoshi-worth torch to Bitcoin Embassy based in Tel Aviv, Israel.

A collaboration between Israel and Iran is extremely rare but love of bitcoin brings them together. See BTC is not all bad Wink
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin number of transactions all time high?? BEAR MARKET IS GONE! on: March 10, 2019, 12:14:00 AM
It is a useful statistic but we don't know if it's people dumping all their bitcoin to get out, or trading with various pairings. Price doesn't indicate that they are buyers but this chart will hopefully put them at ease to know that bitcoin is here to stay so they'd better invest quickly
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any real way to earn bitcoin without investment? on: March 10, 2019, 12:09:36 AM
Find an employer that will pay you in bitcoin. There aren't many now but don't worry, soon enough they will follow those Japanese companies that offer you the chance to have part of your salary paid in bitcoin Wink
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think BCH SV Could ever get up again? on: March 10, 2019, 12:05:21 AM
Of course not, BSV is just a shitcoin that should never have been created in the first place. Don't waste your time on it and stick to better projects, even BCH is better that this (by a small margin). Bitcoin, ethereum, LTC, is what you should be putting your money on right now
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: Weird Fetish on: March 03, 2019, 02:43:43 PM
As a senior member you do know that there is an off-topic section for this kind of weird posting.

Or are you asking for people with bitcoin fetishes - cos that would be weird Cheesy
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Proof of Pumps on: March 03, 2019, 02:41:35 PM
There are certain events like halvings (BTC,LTC) and rebandings (NEO) that have historically led to real pumps, not just buy the rumor sell the news ones but actual triggers of massive gains.

Does anyone have any charts to share for various proof of pumps?
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Best app for trading on a mobile? on: March 03, 2019, 02:35:47 PM
It seems you can't trade using the app from binance, and the app from coinbase only allows buying and selling from an account for limited crypto currencies.

Can anyone recommend a good safe and reliable altcoin trading app from a reputable brand (i.e. not by a random independent developer)?
9  Economy / Economics / Crypto Vs Lotto on: March 03, 2019, 02:32:09 PM
The odds of winning a national lottery are virtually nil, something like 300m to 1 which makes it practically impossible. Rather than waste time on tickets, save and invest in crypto. Look at all the good things lined up:

ETF applications - One will inevitably succeed leading to a mega pump (just like when gold was added)
BAKKT - If an ETF is not approved, who cares as BAKKT will bring the financial institutions into crypto
Lightning network - for mainstream adoption
August 2019 - Litecoin halving
May 2020 - bitcoin halving (see historic charts for these huge halving pumps)

All coins are like 80% from the all time high, odds of getting rich from crypto is millions of times better than the lotto. Be smart and invest wisely Wink
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The privacy coin race on: September 22, 2018, 10:50:10 AM
Looking ahead try deeponion, the roadmap and current price makes it a very attractive investment. An immutable online database and soon smart contracts are just 2 great features that differentiate it from other normal privacy coins

I'm curious if any Deeponion fans can explain how Deeponion protects the privacy of the sender in a transaction? I don't think deepnion does that at all and neither do Verge or DASH? What other schemes to protect sender privacy do we have besides Ring Signatures or Zerocoin / Zerocash ZKP?

Please enlighten me, someone....

DeepOnion is different in that it focused on marketing, community building, and exchange listings first, to ensure a good development fund for the future. Sender privacy will be released later using multi-signatures to hide the transactions. Although Onion is trading at a higher price than XSPEC it will go even higher when fully featured with sender privacy included. Onion is listed on over 15 exchanges including Kucoin, RightBTC, and Cryptopia.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeepOnion and Paracetamol (acetaminophen): The Anadin Of Crypto Currency on: September 03, 2018, 09:52:00 PM
Good metaphor, bit long to read but basically it is a coin that has all the features of a regular crypto coin plus lots of added features that makes it even better! I personally think the IOS (iphone) staking wallet is genius, not many coins offer this
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deep Onion Price Speculation on: August 26, 2018, 04:06:16 PM
One of the great features coming out soon is the web payment plugins so that onion can be accepted as a form of payment in lots of different web stores. This is another game changer, so onion can be used directly to buy real products
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deep Onion Price Speculation on: August 11, 2018, 05:57:24 PM
The new deepvault feature is looking good, just released and is quite the game changer:

Quote
DeepVault is a blockchain notary that allows you to store file validation credentials (hashes of files) within the blockchain. The ability to verify your files' integrity has innumerable benefits and can be applied almost all scenarios.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Privacy getting important: Verge or Spectrecoin or DeepOnion?? on: August 07, 2018, 01:31:17 PM
Zcash is centralised, and mining monero is also centralised. These are serious flaws in crypto privacy coins. Also there is more development on deeponion such as mobile wallets which monero is lacking.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Privacy getting important: Verge or Spectrecoin or DeepOnion?? on: July 12, 2018, 09:47:22 PM
When a coin gets listed on binance it pumps up to the moon so that theory is not always true. There is a binance application is progress for deeponion but no confirmation of a listing yet .. ..
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Privacy getting important: Verge or Spectrecoin or DeepOnion?? on: July 03, 2018, 10:13:22 PM
DeepOnion will list on RightBTC on saturday 7 July, so grab some cheap onions now for a nice easy pump. The price will surely rise after getting listed on that high volume exchange
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An "unbiased" coin review of DeepOnion on: June 25, 2018, 07:22:33 PM
Hi all. Just wondering why the deeponion team chose the airdrop method over an ICO. I'm guessing since the coins are premined, the team has allocated itself some of those coins and is using airdrops to distribute the other coins (because they don't need to raise money for development) and then as the project solidify and more people become interested, demand for the coins will grow (and the airdrop period will have ended), holders of airdropped coins will sell them on exchanges and the price will start rising, which will make the coins held by the team more valuable and they can recoup their investment. Is this analysis correct?

Also, are there projects out there that have skipped ICOs, mining (like bitcoin), airdrops, crowd donations and simply listed their coins on exchanges? Does doing that make any sense?

The problem with ICOs is that the distribution tends to favor whales with big pockets. An airdrop if done properly will ensure a more even distribution of coins to reduce the chances of price manipulation.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your Expectation on DeepOnion on: June 10, 2018, 08:28:00 AM
The mod was marked red because they dislike air-dropped coins, but the airdrop has ended and the project still going. Founders could have run off already but are still developing and pushing forwards with new features.

Applications for a tier 1 exchange is taking place so any investment now is likely to be profitable when the application is approved
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your Expectation on DeepOnion on: June 03, 2018, 09:58:49 AM
DeepOnion is doing better than most other coins that went through an ICO. There is a large team of developers and a healthy development fund to ensure a good long-term future. Soon it will be listed on at least one tier 1 exchange, possibly more. If you don't buy now on kucoin at these low prices, you will miss out like you did with bytecoin and their recent binance listing pump.
