1  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-06-27] The Bitcoin Economy's 'Backbone' Is Bitstamp, An Exchange Run By Tw on: June 28, 2014, 10:24:09 AM
They are smart guys who have shown several times they know how to run their business, not like Karpeles.

I'm sure they save their keys in secure locations where even they couldn't get easily. Hopefully with multisig.

I'm not that smart and even I would do that.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM Darkcoin instamine 2 millions DRKs (50% of darkcoin in circulation) on: June 03, 2014, 09:19:16 AM
I dont get it why people still buying this. Its really obvious that its scam.
Relaunch would have been way better after this "morecoinsbug" and no windows client @release.

Relaunch would cost the devs the 50% coins they instamined.

at this price, it will be 22 million usd.

That really shows how much you understand a market. You can't sell that much coin, it would crash the market in no time. That's why a market cap is not indication of market value. Man, you have no idea what you are talking about.
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitstamp Transaction Fee Fraud - Charging up to 1.16% transaction fee. on: May 06, 2014, 01:01:08 PM
Not trolling. I'm just exposing this is how rounding works in many scenarios. Even when you pay taxes at your store.

OP was selling, this small transaction rounding problem doesn't happen if you are buying BTC, only if you are selling in small chunks.
Just try it on the exchange and you will see.
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitstamp Transaction Fee Fraud - Charging up to 1.16% transaction fee. on: May 06, 2014, 12:48:20 PM
Oh c'mon guys, this is math 101. This happens with so many transactions on a lot of things on a daily life. It's rounding and normal.

OP did transactions with a BOT lower than $1 as per indicated limitations. He probably was hoping that he would not pay transactions fees.

If you are doing that many transactions, just do larger transactions where rounding is in your favor. Why is he making thousands of really small transactions? He's probably just slowing down their system anyway.

I'm on with Bitstamp on this one.

Here's an example where I paid less than 0.5% because of rounding:
I bought 0.08774 BTC and only paid 0.047%

In my case it was the USB cables. 2 out of 3 were faulty. 3rd was just badly connected.

Any luck? Exact same thing happened to me and I'm wondering if USB Risers are faulty.

I was using regular powered risers and it was working fine. I switched one of the cards to USB Powered Risers and it doesn't work. I've tried 2 different USB powered risers with same result. Card  is not detected.

I've tried in Asrock 970 Extreme4 and Asrock H61 Pro BTC

Asrock 970 doesn't have any Gen1 setting in BIOS as far as I can tell.
