Got a couple of offers. Still looking to sell
2  Economy / Computer hardware / Looking to sell partially working Btmine unit on: April 02, 2014, 05:24:19 PM
I got the unit and had it professionally fixed due to shipping damage.

Its hashing right around 150-160 with 5 workers showing 0.  I'm pretty much done in the bitcoin game and would like to sell.

Please PM offers

I am local to NYC.  Please include shipping in your offer.

Do I need to change anything for stratum? I noticed it says "no" under stratum in my cgminer status
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can someone explain the mt gox situation to me? on: February 17, 2014, 01:40:28 AM
Is the sites structure broken? Or did they scam everyone?
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Can someone explain the mt gox situation to me? on: February 16, 2014, 11:21:23 PM
How can their price be half of coinbase? Can you even create and account at mt gox to buy? If you can are you able to even send btc to coinbase?

I'm very confused by the difference in price. Is it a mt gox specific issue? Meaning they're probably going to shut down or be blacklisted by users?

Demand a partial refund of at least 1k each. Mine wasn't as bad and I got 1k back. If I were you I'd demand 1200+ each

Do it through PayPal. Open a dispute and escalate right to a claim. Or vice versa
15  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GROUP BUY WORLDWIDE]BTMine v1 Miner 200GH/s BTC 2.4 on: February 16, 2014, 12:56:02 AM
Trial and error is best. Put the blades in a working unit if you have multiple.

I'd buy two new PSUs to rule out that being the cause

I think it's ok now. The reporting hash rate at the pool sure moves a lot. Maybe bc I'm using wifi.

The signal is at 90%. I'll hard wire one day

also, can someone explain why my hash rate listed at my pool isnt what's listed in my cgminer status?

Interesting - what pool?  Most take some time to settle down (especially slush), but that's probably not what you're asking about.  The other thing is stales - for some reason I have noticed that some pools have higher reject and stale rates than others.  FWIW, I'm using btcguild for my btc mining and coinex switchpool for my alts and both show comparable to my cgminer.

Doing peercoin at ecoining.com

Showing 160 but cgminer status says 218

Interesting - ppcoin is known for a very low stale rate, so that shouldn't be it, though I don't know much about ecoining.com...   .  Anything interesting in your logs or API log?

I'll post when I can
