The B3 became unprofitable, -0.15 $/Day. One more door stopper  or noisy heater from Shitman!

Not bad: 1x1070 in PCIEx16 slot and  4x1060's  in 1x risers give ca 2 KH.  With 730W power consumption and about the same price it turns my B3 pseudo-ASIC into a doorstopper.

For the first time an example of how a GPU miner destroyed the profitability of an ASIC.

Uupool: 6.44331024 BTM per Khash/s

The ROI of B3  is near to 2 years.  Cry Cry Cry

Hello,

What cpu u using and getting 950h on 2x1060?

Hi,
I am using I7-8700K CPU (running at 4.9GHz), mobo is Gigabyte Z370-HD3P. Both GPU's are o-clocked by +150 and memory by +1000.
Both video cards are installed in PCIEx16 sockets, not in risers, the first produces ca 520 H/s, the second ca 430 H/s.
In 1x risers I saw no more than 230 H/s per card.
I tried it just for fun on my work PC, because ROI of such rig is too long Sad.
I think that on an ordinary rig there will be about 200-250 hashes from each card.

Vers3 of upool miner has been relased

Actually this is slower than the v2, i have 3 gtx 1070 in that rig, v2 does 750h/s, this only 550... :C

The same result, 600 h/s instead of 950 on 2x1060. 350 goes to devfee? Wink

Can you make test with I7-8700K and 1070@PCIEx16?

I7-8700K. 1070@PCIEx16 + 1060@PCIEx4, OC: GPU +150 MEMORY +1200

0-549.6 1-432.8 Total: 982.4 H/s  2018/05/31 12:50:50 1 - Yay, solution found!

1070 is only 10% faster than 1060 under the same conditions

Sorry, probably I'm not quite correctly state my opinion:
To obtain the maximum hashrate  all GPU's must be installed in the PCIE x16 slots that run at the maximum possible speed (ideally x16).
But most of the motherboards I know allow x16 speed only in one slot, if you install GPU's into the remaining PCIE slots, then their speed is usually less.
From the specification of this particular EPOX motherboard: Graphics slot   8 x PCI-E 16x (1PCI-E3.0x16 + 7 PCI-E3.0x1).

i can suggest a mb like these Onda B250 D8P or B250 BTC Mining Motherboard
I think that Onda has 8 size x16 slots that run at speed x1. B250 chipset supports max 12 PCI Express lanes, so simultaneous operation of eight GPU's at x16 speed is not possible at all.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bytom Mining - ASIC algorithm now cracked by GPU miners? Big profits? on: May 30, 2018, 08:30:47 AM
I think this is possible only if all GPU's are installed into x16 slots, but I have not heard about the existence of motherboards with 6x PCIE x16 slots.
The best result I saw using I7-8700K and  1x1060 was 500KH @PCIEx16,  420KH @PCIEx4 and 230KH @PCIEx1.

How did you get uupool in english?
Also do you know how often they payout?

Just mouse right click and "Translate to English"  Wink

Can confirm that this works!
ca 500-600 H/s on 5x 1060:

Also I found that this miner can be used not only with the UUPOOL:

Quote
Usage of ./miner:
  -E string
Exclude GPU's: comma separated list of devicenumbers
  -I int
        Intensity (default 8 )
  -api <host>:<port>
api host and port, use <host>:<port> (default "127.0.0.1:8080")
  -sleep int
        CPU sleep time
  -url stratum+tcp://<host>:<port>
server host and port for stratum servers, use stratum+tcp://<host>:<port> (default "btm.uupool.cn:9220")
  -user string
username, most stratum servers take this in the form [payoutaddress].[rigname] (default "payoutaddress.rigname")
  -v    Show version and exit

Hopefully, hashing rate will become more stable soon. I think we can anticipate another reduction in around 8 days, to leave us mining around 30 coins per day. If Bitmain then release another batch so after that, it will really impact on earnings, and may affect the trust early adopters have in Bitmain.

Bitmain has just sent me the tracking number of the second batch B3, so probably another difficulty increase  can be expected already tomorrow.
