I started mining at your pool. How do payouts work? I'm not seeing an FAQ anywhere.

I got it working with bfgminer. I don't know why, but it's only working with the zetacoin pool I'm using, it does not work with peercoin pools. Both are SHA-256. It keeps spitting out a JSON stratum auth error, even though everything is entered correctly, URL, username.worker, and password. 



Side note: It might be a good idea for the forum admin to get rid of the posting restriction regarding posting twice from the same IP address with only x seconds between posts. Seeing as how Private Internet Access (who I use) sponsors this forum, it seems a bit silly to have that since it's highly plausible that hundreds of privacy conscious members could be connected to the same server. LOL

I get the same thing with bfgminer. Driver is installed. I'll look into the fork you mentioned and report back later when I get home. Thanks.

I just got one of these today and I'm having some issues getting it to work (windows 7). I followed the instructions in the manual, and when I start cgminer this is what happens: First it looks fine, see image.



Then it says that I possibly don't have the correct URL.



I do have the correct URL, port, have workers, etc. Here's my command line:

cgminer.exe --bmsc-options 115200:20 -o stratum+tcp://zet.dsync.net:3333 -u username.Miner1 -p 12345abc --bmsc-freq 0981

You know what would be really cool and useful? A proper quote screen/table like this:

One could have a watchlist of currencies, whether it's 2 or 100 of them. If you made something like this I'd definitely use it. I'd keep it up all the time on one of my monitors. Tradingview has this, but they only have a short list that they get from btc-e. I'd love to have something like this that would pull quotes from cryptsy, bter, etc. *crosses fingers*

Well, when you decide which coins you will mine, just download the wallet for each of them and transfer your mined coins from the pool to your wallets. Then when you feel like it, transfer them to an exchange like bter, sell them for BTC, and then transfer the BTC to your BTC wallet. Easy.


As far as I know, yes. I ordered a couple of the antminers off amazon and will be getting them set up as soon as they arrive, so I'll be able to give a definitive answer then. In the meantime, have a look through the documentation. I just downloaded the zip today and am just starting to read through everything so I'll be good and prepared when they arrive in the mail.

I use coinbase to buy bitcoin. For exchanges, I like btc-e and bter, and cryptsy if I absolutely have to use them due to a coin not being on bter.
