Although all looks quiet on the BrixCoin front, I can assure you that is definitely not the case for the first part of this year!

Our senior coder has been in an absolute coding frenzy all year, updating the code for BrixCoin as well as a few of the Brix platforms, making them faster, more streamlined and of course secure.

We have great plans for expanding the Brix universe, some to be released very soon, some in the future and of course, several we have already released such as BrixWorkz and EZIMN (EZI Masternodes)

Could not agree more mate! We have all been involved with ICO's and other projects where devs/owners held millions of coins. It only leads to manipulation and then, the ultimate failure of the project.

Predictions are just predictions and no matter what they are based on, this whole crypto market is still too easily manipulated by the big players.

I truly believe that barely a soul knows the true prediction of the market.

For all the inside information, P&Ds, rumours, selling the news gossip, hype, TA, Fibonacci, gut feels...whatever, you really shouldn't listen to anyone.

Actually, let me change that...by all means listen to people and gain some understanding, some education or another point of view but it can't be the total reason for why you do anything.

This market is still too new, too volatile and too easily manipulated - mass adoption can help that, but it's a long way off.

Here's the only time you should sell...whenever the price is higher than what you bought it for!

As was said above, they all have their own use so hard to compare...

In my opinion though, and despite it;s faults, I really can't see BTC being overthrown anytime soon!

Just within your opening question, every single one of those methods can make you money.

They can also LOSE you money!

So much of it depends on your skill set, your understanding of each method, your time frame and also financial goals.

It also depends on how much time and effort you want to put in learning and understanding, as well as actually getting in and doing the work.

Also if you plan on being a HODLR, do you have the nerve and patience for it? Will you succumb to the ups and downs of the market and buy/sell/hold at the wrong times?

As others have said, if you plan on going the mining route, what are the power costs you will have to deal with, even the temperature of your area? Will you be able to stand the noise? What contacts do you have?

These are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to some of the questions you have to ask yourself. My advice is to research them all thoroughly and choose one that you feel the most passionate about!

The market will get back on track, once projects that are the reason for these altcoins start to really and truly get up and running.

Just having a coin is not good enough...
Just promoting a coin is not good enough...
Just talking about what a coin will eventually do is not good enough...

One, or many of these altcoins, some with great plans and promise to them, others are just shitcoins, need to make some serious traction and do what they say they are going to do.
Someone has to actually use this amazing blockchain technology, in combination with their coin/project and give it some real world value and use.

That, in my opinion is what needs to happen to reinvigorate the market!

Will crypto ever be as great as it was again?

Hmmm, if your question about greatness is meaning, can I simply make a shit load of easy money without real knowledge or effort...then No, I don;t think so.

But if we are talking about a true evolution of a major world changing industry then yes, absolutely crypto will be great. Shitcoins will disappear and hopefully, only those with true value and purpose will survive and thrive through mass adoption.

Crypto will certainly be great my friend, we haven't even touched the sides yet!

Sorry but never heard of these coins either...

Just speaking generally, coins with no real use or genuine value will disappear as soon as the people promoting or hyping them stop.
The crypto world is hopefully becoming wise to P&D tactics and hopefully, like black hat SEO tactics, we see them less and less.

In saying that, and if NETCOIN are doing stuff to add value and resurrect their coin with updates and real strategies then I say good on them and hope they do well!

Definitely, Definitely, DEFINITELY not too late!

We are at a pretty low stage right now, may even go lower and quite considerably lower too! So there is heaps of money to be made...so long as you pick the right markets of course!

Ideally you should be investing in something or some project that you feel confident in or have some passion for - not just numbers and candles.

And let's not forget as I often say, we are still so far away from mass adoption. As more peeps become involved, the true crypto coins will come to the fore and this world will be everything it promised!

ETH is a real funny one for mine...

Forgetting that the whole market is in the state it is in...ETH has seemed to have an even greater roller coaster ride.

Over 2018, ETH has been touted as being poised to take over the whole crypto market and actually dethrone bitcoin, to the doomsdayers saying that ETH was finished due to its association with ICOs etc. It has also been rated everywhere in between too!

I've never been a fan and being honest, owned some for a very short time...seemed too confusing for newbies to pick up and learn too. Especially as Mass adoption is what the whole crypto world is wanting. Make it too hard for new peeps and they just won't want to play.

And there always seems to be too much about the boss man V!

I'm sure ETH, like most of the market will genuinely recover but at this point, it's not something in itself I wish to ever hold...

The best Alt coin will be the one that is providing the best value, will be able to actually be used to do real things and one that makes non crypto holders want to get involved in this new frontier.

Security coins I believe are a massive potential too so whoever gets that right will do very well.

We are very young, but we are passionate with real achievements in place already, great plans and big ideas and are very confident our Brix coin will be up there in 2020!

Peeps, I've just popped this reply in to answer a question on another BitcoinTalk thread asking when the next Bull Run will be.
Its a question I always have challenges with and if you see my reply below, you will see my opinion on how its the wrong question to be asked.
Why am I highlighting it in here?
It's because I truly do believe that we at Brix are trying to hard to do that very thing which is to create a coin that is usable, has real value and gives people a reason to invest in crypto, OUR crypto.
Things like that are (at least in my opinion) is what will create the next Bull Run. Why are we all just waiting around for a Bull Run to magically start and what really will trigger one?


Look, it's a great discussion but for everything discussed here...who can really know. And I mean, REALLY, WELL and TRULY know! And of course, even if you did know...would you really tell everyone about it?

To me the question isn't when the next Bull Run is...it's WHY there will be a next Bull Run?

What advances will be made in current coins or what new product/protocol/platform will come out that puts incredible value and confidence back into crypto, a reason for those already invested to invest some more and of course what will attract the 90%+ of people in the world who do not yet own some form of crypto to finally get involved.

Whenever that happens, is when the Bull Run will come...people just keep waiting for something to happen but there isn't really a reason for it apart from a hope that it comes soon!

I have been involved with Crypto a few years now and it has kicked my butt several times since then!

I have been scammed, fell for bad tips, didn't even understand P&D (long time ago!) and lost money on bad trades and poor investment choices!

But...what an education I have had! Learned shitloads, made some great friends and colleagues and made some good money too! Now I'm even involved as a foundation member in our very own altcoin so it's fair to say, I've come a long way since my first day!

The crypto world is tough, unforgiving and scary but man, what an exciting ride it is and we truly are just at the beginning!

Do I regret getting involved with Crypto? Never, not once, not even a little bit!
