johoe: As a sidestep  to this, to me it looks like you "found" these bitcoins and returned them to BC.info. In here Finland there is a law that ensures some 10% of findings to the finder. Hope you got your share for doing these people a service, that was quite a feat!

14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why would Satoshi not be dumping? on: November 21, 2014, 04:07:44 PM
As what comes to Satoshi's identity

Somehow I believe that he might be individual who wanted to change the world (and already succeeded in doing so, future will make the judgement on this). I know couple of these kinds of guys and what is remarkable of them is that their principles cant be bought with money.

Other possibility which makes perfect sense is that the debt of USA is so big that I think they will do everything to wiggle out of the situation. Every born american is bonded with over 100 000 dollars of debt. Its their birth right (or weight) at the moment. And situation is just worsening. If I recall average state-loan for average family is something like 500.00 dollars! It's just sick.

If somehow the largest bagholder would be USA and their current debt is in dollars, they would just need to make sure that bitcoin (or some other crypto currency) is to succeed in future and voila, things look wholly different.

Only way to them to repay their debts is to crash the whole dollar system and invaluate the dollar and THEN make the payment.  In the meantime dollar should be replaced of course with other currency and here bitcoin comes handy. Basicly they need to do nothing, just push little behind the curtain and it happens all by itself! And at the same time they could blame it on everybody else but them=)

And when somebody has the biggest bag in bitcoin ecosystem he rules the world !

These auctions they are doing might just be theatrical while at the same time accumulating/holding in the background.

What saddens me is that I have started to think the latter option is more reasonable  Sad

Whoa, I think I just exceeded myself in the reasoning XD

They were S1:s (yes still running). One had charred connector due to me using 2 pci-e connectors on one cable Smiley My setup was 2 good brand power suplies with 3 antminers, each supply was 650 watts each. So it was running on the edge all the time. My knc saturn with 2 asics still goes 500gh if wanted but i wanted to "underclock" it a bit too. Would have to clean it all the time otherwise. Now it goes 450gh or smthing.

A good campaign for the mmpool and when hit 1000 th and the rest would be history.

I have about 90% of my mining power pointed at mmpool, that like 0,5 th only. I used to have 1 th but one antminer melted its power connector due to overclocking/bad cables, and other just went berzerk. 1 still working.

Where to buy cheap hashes? mmpool organize get together with paid airplane tickets etc. from mmpool? Grin *wink wink*

20  Economy / Economics / suggestion: Bitcoin trading more stabilised on: July 21, 2014, 02:55:47 PM
Hi

Ive been watching this bitcoin price go up and down and everytime it seems that bots are moving the price up and down.

I dont have any btc on any exchange so I dont know how it actually works but to me it seems that following are true (based on just watching the price)

1. One person/entity can have multiple buy/sell orders at the same time?

2. there are fake buy and sell walls, just to move the price to some direction, without actual want to buy or sell?

3. there are no fees/provision on setting the order?

As there is intention to adjust the price with fake orders, can we prevent this. Sometimes walls disappear on the fly and some "fish" get caught this way on high/low price etc.

My proposition is very simple:

There should be minimum amount of time that the order stays on for example bitstamp. One could set the order at any time, but then it would stay on the site for say 24 hours or at least 1 hour. No removal during this "just making sure that this offer is real deal" time period.

I think this would help bitcoin overall and I think on "real money/interest/loan exchanges" manipulating the market is actually forbidden. Im not saying that this would remove all of manipulation but perhaps some.

Forgive my bad english if found on the message
