2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Antimner L3+ With BFGMiner5.x and Minera on: June 01, 2017, 01:24:18 AM
Hi Guy's,

i havent mined since 2013 running r9 290 GPU's. Things seem much easier these days, so ive decided to give it another crack.

in anticipation of my new L3+ Antminers miners to arrive, im looking at running Minera for management.

It does not seem to list Any antminers in the drop down list under BFGMiner 5.x. Im assuming i may need to compile this myself to get it working? Looking for some info thanks guys
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Automatic Poloniex Profit Generator🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: May 26, 2017, 03:25:20 PM
Gunthar excellent work. i've been reading for hours and also the v3.2 docs on your website https://gunthy.org/index.php?topic=306.0 but i still don't understand if i can run the bot with some of my manual trade coins in my polo account.

I have some XRP and STRAT in there that i dont want to take out of poloniex incase i need to offload it. Will the bot only trade to the amount it has previously purchased?

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / getting back into mining, need hardware suggestions. on: May 20, 2017, 12:40:24 AM
Hey all,

back in 2013 i had a 10 rig setup each with 5 R9 290 in them. it was a nnightmare to maintain nd i ended up stopping the project in 2014.

but now i want to get back into it, and am looking at the new plug & play mining systems.

I have around $15,000US to spend

I'll be mining alt coins in a multi pool. Scrypt / SHA256

im currently looking at these 2 options.

Bitmain Antminer L3+ x 10 units
Spoondoolies SP50

they both seem to work out of the box and have minimal setup. what do you guys sugest, thanks heaps

here we go.

0% rejects.

scantime and expiery changed to 15. I also removed worksize.

no i always run 20 without a drama. I've even used powertune 30 with great results.
R9 290 cards run @ 890k with that config.
Try it and see what happens in your configuration.
I reduced rejects from 6% to 2% by doing this. I lost 1% hash, but the reduction in rejects more than made up for this.

Going to Intensity 20 adds several seconds of latency to share processing. On very fast alt coins, this makes a big difference. People talk about choosing the correct server due to latency, etc. Intensity is the elephant in the room, adding more latency than anything else you could do.

Changing the intensity made more difference than moving my miners from a 28 kbps GPRS connection to a 60 Mbps fiber connection.

The latency was never much of a problem as I used to mine LTC with its long block time and stable difficulty period. The latency became much more noticable on middlecoin, because it spends a lot of time mining 30 or 60 second coins.

BUT WHAT ABOUT MY HASH RATE!!! LOL

I've just changed a few settings in the conf, so far so good. will post shortly.

Hi Guy's,

Ive been getting loads of rejected shares lately (12%) or so.Normally i hover around 3% rejected.

Any ideas to help me out? I'm loosing around 3 m/hashs due to this the past 2 days.

have any of you played with expiry and scan-time i was reading lowering them will really improve getting shares in and out faster with scrypt and it has my work utility used to be 100+ less then the hash now its same or more.
these seem to really work good for my 2x 7970s.
"expiry" : "12",
"scan-time" : "6",

thanks, been playing with this for days and i think you've done it!  Grin Grin Grin

my efficiency hovering about 10-15% higher than before (per rig 165% to 196%) and no stale shares or getwork errors as yet. I'll report back in 24 hours with stats.
