1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: == Bitcoin challenge transaction: ~1000 BTC total bounty to solvers! ==UPDATED== on: July 04, 2023, 11:30:48 AM
Just wondering I get on the 125-bit puzzle (BSGS) search using Keyhunt (CPU) 192 Pkeys/s
(using this best test settings on a i7: -t8 -k1024)

How is it doing compared to a decent GPU?

Cheesy let's be a bit more positive.
If it were not for bbp we would be wasting cpu power on xmr ore something.
bbp is a good "cpu only" coin and gives a good return.
And if you hold on to.your coins you might in the future see even more coming your way.
Meanwhile your mind can be at ease because you are helping poor orphans ; -)

So instead of attacking let support it more.
And be positive the would like to have more pools  nothing is stopping you from making 1.

On the pool, the leaderboard has been consolidated by Username (for those who are not cloaked) to increase pool performance.

You can still see your details by miner by going to the "Home" page.

I'm still working on lowering the pool diff per fractional share for the small miners, please be patient.

This would be nice I mine +/- 100 bbp per 24 hours because of the low hash rate it look's like my miner sometimes drops from the pool (just switched from windows to Linux miner). (Cactus is the worker)

For information I run fetter light Linux version on a old Intel atom laptop. Low mem.
Takes forever to compile on Linux but gives a better hash rate (147 hsp)

Thanks for looking into this and don't worry about some lost work just think about it as a extra form of charity :-D

Keep.up the good work.

Just a suggestion but I think we should look for a alternative for c-cex.
The current support is not the best and a month on vacation .... look not really responsible.
(Just hope I have it right and the come back against all.the speculationso last days.)

Is there coming a faucet for biblepay?

Ill add one to the pool and give away 100 bbp per ip address.

If anyone feels like running one that is already written, go for it also if you feel like it Smiley

Nice!
And 100 bbp is about 50% of what I mine per day on my slow laptop running linux. A New wallet always take hours to compile but is fun ;-)

Biblepay is still good for mining it'seems,  and it is noted at c-cex (rare cpu only coin)
And it makes you feel good because it supports poor orphans  (kids)

Probably woud never mined a cristian coin with a name like biblepay but the Dev is actually really doing his best and the support for the orphans is a really nice touch.
Just check it out ;-)

Finally I got a Linux miner working.

I was already (also in support of the network) pool mining on a my (old) laptop got only 1769hashps lol and here ppl complaint about the speed and differents in OS.

But true I now got a wopping 4000.
Only took me almost whole day to compile ....

Keep up the good work,  and nice to see a coin that actually cares

Alright, lets rewind the whole day back to about 7 AM and try this again.

Version 1.0.3.4 (the future mandatory) is now checked in for linux only.  This new version includes a 'protocol' upgrade meaning it wont communicate with prior versions.  If anyone on linux wants to upgrade now and start pre-testing go for it.

Win is compiling and will be ready in two hours.

In the mean time I need to run some errands, Ill be back in two hours and we can release Windows and I will make a POST so everyone can be ready at approx the same time to try the mandatory upgrade again.

Nice a new version :-D
But wat about the mining and transaction from today ...
I understand that a role back will take this away?

I made my first transaction today lol

(Just a minor miner on a old laptop )

Had a lot of fun with the whole coye thing.

Been mining from 2011 with a big break in between just for fun.
Started again late 2013 finding my old walled encrypted (if I'll have time going to try and Grus my old pass wit a brute force script al my self made random combinations as far as I can remember)

Of course I finally registered here and find out that on the moment I wanna reply I could not before posting here... ...

So here you'll have my first to long post  Wink
