BFL is still selling their shitty 5 g/h jalapeno for $274. https://products.butterflylabs.com/

My Jalapeno shipped in Oct, I mined with it until end of January and offered it up on Ebay which some poor sap took for the BIN price of $300. (which reminds me, he never left me positive feedback on the super-fast shipping...)

I finally got my funds back... See: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=400242.msg5327483#msg5327483

in the interest of disclosure, i FINALLY got access restored to my funds.... took two months without any indication it would ever happen, but it did. it took DAILY updates to the multiple open tickets (which they had started condensing into the same original ticket without any type of response) + i was opening a new ticket every other day... They finally responded to one of my requests to remove funds and then after multiple back-and-forths, my access has been restored.

for verification they requested i provide transaction history, account balances, IP addresses which i've accessed from etc. by a stroke of PURE LUCK, i had kept records to try to track my P&L better and was able to use those to give a history. Had i not done so, the info would have only been available by logging in to the account (which was suspended - catch22)

I'm pleased that I got a resolution, but upset that it took this long and was for something so arbitrary and I was most upset at the lack of communication. I have not moved out all of my funds and have placed a few trades, but I will never post to trollbox again.    Cry

sorry i haven't come back to this for a while... Power was measured at the wall with a kill-a-watt, 120v. System is running rock solid since moving to Litecoin-BAMT 1.4. I think there must have been some driver issues causing the instabilities on the original BAMT install
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First mining rig on: February 09, 2014, 11:43:34 PM
could a flakey SD drive be the issue?

they continue to join my new tickets into the old one but still i get no response, no feedback - nothing. I'd be REAL surprised if i ever hear anything from them again.  If you have any funds on deposit, I strongly suggest getting them out.

This is really bad...
Account banned for no reason + non-responsive support service...

yeah, BTC-E was my favorite venue for trading and i had zero problems -- until i did... now i get no help and my funds are effectively confiscated. I would advise anyone and everyone whom is trading at BTC-e to get your funds OUT before you too are scammed.

I've put together a rig consisting of 4x 7950s in a milkcrate with powered risers running on BAMT r9 1.3 from USB drive. 1000w EVGA PS pulling 1100 at the wall.  This thing is currently keeping my garage above freezing but it is not as stable as i'd like.

it seems to work great most of the time but occassionally i'll notice a card shuts down for no apparent reason, or my CPU usage pegs and the system is unresponsive. Last night I had 1 card that kept throttling back and reving its fan up as it was banging around 70c when the other cards were mid to low 60s. I can usually issue a coldreboot and it'll come back up and work fine for a while again. Sometimes after coldreboot it comes back up, i can ping it but no Remote Desktop availability. I have to Putty in and do another coldreboot or go physically reset the machine.

nothing is overclocked and BAMT seems to be adjusting voltage on the cards while running 2.2-2.3 Mh using the default config.  I'd like to get this thing stable then start tweaking the voltages down adjusting hashes/card... Is PS likely the problem? It seems to do alright so long as i just let it go but if i start trying to switch pools or am constantly monitoring the hashrates is when i notice issues.  BAMT r9 1.3

hello,

I really need help. I slowly added BTC to BTC-e exchange and for months everything was fine. Now i can't withdraw coins at all. I filed support tickets and they are just deleted and or marked as resolved, without any reply at all. I have withdrew many times before. After two weeks of waiting for a support reply, I started asking for help in the chat form the 'support' and 'admin' when they were online. I was asked for my ticket # by support in the Russian chat. After that my account was BANNED?!? i don't understand. I trusted BTC-e and they won't even respond. They have about 15BTC of mine. Im not rich, thats a lot to me. I use to withdrew my coins at night after i trade, but they blocked me from my funds and they won't even answer. Plus they banned me for asking for help in the chat. this feel terribly wrong

Before you think I'm making this up, let me share my screen shots. http://imgur.com/PxFvJrJ http://imgur.com/E4KANzY I have dozen and dozens more and even a google+ video that shows that i can't withdraw. and them deleting my support tickets and no response.

This is very disturbing for the bitcoin economy. We need to be able to trust exchanges.

I will tip anyone who asks support why they won't let user withdraw: Jahfree

If they were legit, why do they delete my support tickets? Why do they mark the other tickets as resolved, why don't they even respond? Why did they BAN me account for asking for help because i can't withdraw coins. Can they ban me for no reason and keep my BTC?

Im a bitcoin business owner, i help local businesses understand the basics of bitcoin and i help them get setup with bit pay. I love bitcoin, but i am speechless that this is happening to me. I recommended BTC-e to about 75 to 80 people and businesses, now i feel like a fool. If bitcoin is to be a success, we can't have exchanges doing harmful stuff like this to users. They know that there is no one to call, no one who really can help, and they can ban you for asking for help.

Im not trying to bash on BTC-e, i just want my coins, and i don't think this is right. How can i encourage businesses to accept bitcoin, when i have now been locked out of my BTC-e account with no reason, no reply and i feel helpless.

Thank you for any help. I will tip anyone who can help. I will not forget anyone who tries to help. Thank you

I've been hosed by BTC-e as well to the tune of several thousand dollars with a similar support story:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=400242.0;topicseen

Account locked Dec 20 for posting a supposedly infected weblink to trollbox. I run a virus prog on my computer to catch stuff like that so IF that happened it was completely inadvertent. Anyway, I've sent multiple tickets for a resolution, I've promised never to post a link to trollbox again, I've tried posting tickets in English & Russian, tried sending emails (again english & Russian) tried signing up new account via BTC-e.com to contact support/admin via PM but am directed to the support website.  I can't get a response to save my life...

I've tried all channels I can think of and I'm getting no support. I bump my ticket daily and apparently is just ignored. I can't login to my account and I setup a 2nd account to try to contact support but apparently you're not allowed to send PM's to support... a message pops up saying you need to use the ticket system.

from where I'm sitting BTC-e has effectively parted me from several thousands of dollars.

The same thing just happened to me, was your issue resolved?

No.

still nothing from Help Desk. I love trading on BTC-e and am very disheartened by this incident. I haven't been able to access my funds or make any trades for 3 weeks... If anyone has suggestions, I'm all ears

if you have a valid ph# for them, please share it. I haven't been able to find one anywhere. I've got an open ticket that I'm waiting for a response -- supposedly they're going to answer it in 72 hrs which gives them 23 to go... Roll Eyes

I've tried emailing, setting up another login on BTC-e to contact support/admin via PM yet whenever i try to do that a message pops up to use the support site Embarrassed

i can't even complain in the trollbox as my 2nd login is banned from chat box for another 47 days and i've never even posted with it which means they added a ban on it to prevent me from using chatbox.

Tried sending help tickets/email in english and russian but i cant get anything from them.  This was my favorite exchange to trade on, but its looking like my money may be gone after all

if i don't get a response on this latest ticket, i'll skype you and see if you've got any further ideas
