Think Tank Coin aims to be a pioneer of the world of idea creation, research. innovation, and development (as the name Think Tank implies). Our goal is to develop a platform/marketplace where specialists of all fields can come together and produce/develop projects through a collaborative effort and seek help in the areas which their specialties lack. For example, a biologists has developed a novel method of data analysis that he or she believe can be completed through computer code and algorithms and seek help from a specialist in computer science. Another example could be that a blockchain developer has developed a unique code in which he would like to apply in statistical analysis but lacks the skills needed to translate its applicable functions, seeking help of those in the world of mathematics. Or even simply someone would like to create an idea or technology and patent it with the efforts of his or her peers (and having the group of individuals co-own the patent). We plan to partner professionals of a broad number of fields to help provide these services as well.

The TTC token would be utilized as a method of instant, secure payments between the initiator of the project and those who were recruited to help. Another possible use would be the exchange of knowledge through articles, opinion pieces, etc. in which the user could buy/rent the published information of a specialist (or even their time) to help improve their innovations. Other uses would include the buying and selling on exchanges and MN and POS.

A low supply paired with a modest rate of MN and POS reward is a successful model in preventing inflation and promoting investors to hold the currency (with a possibility of raising MN collateral after certain block heights as a method of reducing inflation and providing more price stability). Another incentive to use this currency would be a drop-in fees from the use of BTC, LTC, and other major coins on the marketplace. We also plan to possibly implement “buy-back and burn” from the community to further decrease supply.

The premine will only be used to develop the platform, domain cost, pay listing fees for exchanges, and any other cost incurred by the project. The developers will take none of the premine for their own use but we will be awarded 0.75% of the total supply (120000 TTC). Use of this 0.75% will be up to the developers dependent on unforeseen cost (including some being used as a salary). Presale revenue will also contribute to project costs. Distribution of funds from premine, presale, and developers fund will all be planned out in the near future.
