I saw that other altcoins are being created with the same ideas. We have competition...hardcore competition. This one called hyperstake pays 750% interest on all saved coins. Its experimental and only x11 so not as efficient as groestl but the idea of encouraging saving is becoming more prevalent. I understand what your saying about having the freedom to do what ever you want with your money. What I'm saying is that some people actually want to make more interest on their money by putting it into those types of unspendable long term accounts. In other words I like the freedom to choose from different savings options. It adds diversity to the types of users you would attract. So right now the base POS system begins to mature after 7 days for up to 2 years at 20% interest and can be sold at any time during the maturation process. What I'm proposing is not to change what you already have but to add the option to make the account unspendable for the same amount of time with say 60% interest? and possibly in the future 4 years and 8 years options. I understand from a dev point of view this just sounds like more work but from a consumer point of view its exciting.
Actually I get your point, but when we were selecting the percentages, we wanted to stay as down to earth as possible. Basically we could've written any number to attract the audience, but realistically we would've just introduced (pick a number)% inflation and lower the value of the coin. For the time being we will direct all our energy into marketing and trading and then slowly begin with humanitarian projects. Don't get me wrong, your idea is good but if we want to succeed we need to stay focused on our main goals. There will be plenty of time to improve and expand and believe me when I say, we will. Actually one of the ideas - built in centralized trading platform - would also be perfect place for the introduction of long-term deposits. Thank you, AidBit NICE

@Dev I think now it is the time to consider to push AID onto different exchanges, including cryspty though it is alway no easy thing. The fork and pos issues are addressed and stable now. How about sending request to Mintpal,Bittrex ,Poloniex,C-cex? After all, more exchanges do not hurt. What do you think,Dev?
We already contacted Moolah/Mintpal, since they also offer direct exchange to Fiat. Actually, community has to start pushing Cryptsy to accept us. Basically, if we want the best, we have to go for the best. Please submit your requests/support tickets here: https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/newThank you, AidBit Stand by

After taking a *quick* look at the blockchain and payouts, it looks like nothing was included in the vast majority of transactions - for the overnight period mentioned in previous posts - other than the immediate payout addresses (official pools and solo miners?).
As I see it, the bulk of the payouts went to
ASDq1mZJxs4jfehJyD3urMatjn3sXrT6Lq AcULqP2whKAkftM7NFddPB4Mb115vGFSg4 ALaMiJPfYvoy2tM8364uVScvCcvzeQMqYV
and solo miners?
AYGUtsEt1DhQio5AcsU4Cn6QQCamoDpZkY AM1fKbamsSzecrnmDLedW1nnCtyWr5FkJk
?
I'm sure there are more with direct payouts; mine was a *quick* look as I said to begin with.
As I said, there are no 'sub'-transactions forwarding on individual payouts to be seen in the vast majority of transaction entries over that time period being discussed.

Correct?
YES Dear developers, Please provide a list of nodes on the correct fork for us to use (via "addnode" or perhaps even "connect" in .conf). Or upload a "correct" blockchain data files. Today my pool encountered "invalid checkpoint error" again. After deleting data and re-downloading it became normal. But on my windows machine I deleted, re-downloaded and am getting the "invalid checkpoint error" again! I assume these problems happen because some nodes are on incorrect fork and it is a matter of luck to which node my wallet connects. But can't you perhaps increase the protocol version or something similar? These problems are quite similar to Diamondcoin issues when they were switching to POS+POW. I remember that they issued a patch to ignore nodes on "old blockchain". I'm quite worried that even though I'm on correct fork, perhaps in 1 hour I'll hit the "invalid checkpoint". Thank you Actually, we've changed the protocol version and are ignoring the older versions. Unfortunately we're experiencing new forks and we're still investigating what is going on. Master Checkpoint Node is trying hard to keep everything together for now. You can connect directly to one of our pool nodes. #aidbit.conf connect=maya.aidbit.net connect=felix.aidbit.net connect=kei.aidbit.net
This way you'll limit connection to other nodes. I know it's frustrating, but it's no better on this side. Regards, AidBit nice
