Is there a minimum number of BRX you need to be able to stake?
nothing has ever staked in my wallet and i have BRX dust as old a June 28th
i guess i expected at least some weight not much but something
*edit* i guess i should add that my total brx at this point is around 25 */edit*
this is the results of my "getstakinginfo"
"enabled" : true, "staking" : false, "errors" : "", "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "pooledtx" : 0, "difficulty" : 183180.32701715, "search-interval" : 0, "weight" : 0, "netstakeweight" : 21188409674892, "expectedtime" : -1
Have you downloaded the latest wallet version? There was a staking fix in it. Check the OP on the first page for it, then compare the version there with your wallet version. The latest one is a few weeks old. Edit: also if you only have 25 brx to stake, you will have a very difficult time finding blocks. Many people staking right now have set up multiple addresses within their wallets to catch more opportunities. I have 85 addresses of at least 101 brx in each, and i get only 3-4 blocks a day at best....so far. Yup running 1.4.2.0 wallet yeah i know it will be next to impossible to find blocks but it just seems like i should have at least something to the network weight. Heck I've even got the 9 of hearts playing card and still nothing. I do mine sis so i collect fees at a rate of around twice an hour thats where my BRX came from in the first place :-) How do you mine SIS ? I assume solo because there no miningpools (that I know of). Is SHA-256? CPU mining? Yes solo mining SHA256D and you can CPU mine, but i have 2 Butterfly Labs Jalapeno miners giving me around 15Ghash's total. I've got a gridseed running at 11.2gh/s, but it isn't mining anything and comes up with pool 0 not providing work fast enough. any suggestions? or no suitable long poll found. shows the network diff, if there's a new block etc. I'm stumped D: Mine says the same (not fast enough and no long poll) but i just leave it and it works :-)

If your configuration file already enables server, you don't need to set that also via shortcut. Otherwise you look to be all set...
Thanks. Good to know. So it appears I am all set but mining is still not working. I'm operating under the assumption that "rpcuser" is my receiving address and that "rpcpassword" is whatever I want or some variables/options if applicable. I have created the .conf in my roaming folder that has everything exactly the same as what was provided except for the "rpcuser" being changed to my receiving address. When I start the miner (Pooler's cpuminer 2.4.5) it says http://prntscr.com/bji0l7 which suggests I'm not getting paid out. I tried with the other one that brother3 recommended and I got a JSON error I don't know what to do with. I've mined a few dozen different coins on multiple different algorithms. I'm no expert but I'm pretty confident that if I'm having this much difficulty many others are too. I could be wrong but i believe rpcuser and rpcpassword are the user name and password that you use in the miner. for instance rpcuser = "joe" rpcpassword = "password" at least thats what i did and mine is working great. Correct, it is whatever you set them in the "breakout.conf" file. -tb- Thanks. So, maybe that's where I am running into this issue. Where do I define the payout address? If the rpcuser can be "joe" then how does it know where to send the coins? Again i am by no means an expert here but have you created a receive address for sis, brk and brx? if so then i have no idea :-)

Man i was going nuts trying to figure out why my block count was no where near 369693 i thought i was on a fork or something... Didn't realize it was the BTC block hash we were using and not the BRO block... DOH On a side note though that most recent bootstrap went superfast on my linux machine. Nice Job guys!
no sync but much 10 BRO incoming transactions, 1-2 per minute ok after restart, than again
No sync even when using the bootstrap? All 3 of my machines synced up perfectly after using the bootstrap.dat
Both machines are on the right fork. One with 29 connections (Ubuntu) the other with 21 connections (Windows) Nice and healthy
How slow is Really slow? it could take over an hour to fully sync the bootstrap file depending on the machine your using.

Great News!
Buying in that amount it pretty much had to be a long term investor.

Got my miners pointed at the pool, address shows up in the pool statistics, nothing showing any payouts in my wallet. How often does the pool pay out?
the pool pays out regularly with short intervals but the 200 confirmations needed for maturity take about 12 hrs So wait 12 hours and they will come rolling in.. got it :-) Thanks!
