Thanks.  I'll give it a try.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / sign a message on: May 10, 2020, 11:24:00 AM
I'm trying to sign a message with the Bitcoin Core version v0.19.0.1 wallet. But when I do I see the message "the entered address does not refer to a key." is there a way to sign a message with the addresses in this wallet? Thx for any help.

The BIther wallet shows some address as 0 balance and others with a balance so I assume there are BTG there. Unless an address could show BTG when none were there.  I'm not a tech guy I just assume that if Bither showed it then coins were there. Kink of annoying, I see coins but can't move them

HI  I'm trying to transfer BTG but keep seeing "-25missing inputs"  does anyone know what this means or how to fix it?  Thx

HI
I downloaded the cointracking excel template for uploading data, inserted my data under the columns then attempted to upload it.  I continue to receive an error that the system doesn't see a timestamp, so the transaction can't be uploaded.  There is clearly a timestamp in the exact format from the template and I've tried to upload via the excel and csv format with the same errors. Any ideas?

Thx
7  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Two outputs on: January 23, 2018, 11:25:20 AM
Thanks, that was very helpful.  I ended up sending the BTC despite my concern regarding the second strange address and I didn't lose any BTC so...  I still don't see that second address anywhere, even under the addresses tab showing all.  One of the mysteries of the universe I suppose.
8  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Two outputs on: January 22, 2018, 09:06:35 PM
Thanks for the quick reply. I updated my wallet after I saw there was an issue.  Anyhow, I looked up the 2nd address 1Hg8ZX4dWizehtF47o6mYHcgRRs3zZcXzJ and it doesn't seem to be connected to anything.  At top the
Transaction ID: Unknown
Status:  Unsigned
Amount sent:  5. TC
Fee .00063641
Lock Time 505582

The Input box address is one I received BTC before but the second address on the Outputs doesn't show up anywhere in any wallet I've ever used (I keep track of the addresses I've used)

Well, I'll look around some more just to be sure, I was just concerned some hacker figured out how to send some BTC to his address every time I used my wallet.

9  Bitcoin / Electrum / Two outputs on: January 22, 2018, 07:58:23 PM
I was about to send BTC from my Electrum 3.0.5 wallet and it shows 1 Input and 2 outputs.  The amount I want to send, 5BTC and a second one of over 19BTC.  This doesn't seem normal as I sent some the other day and there was only 1 output. It's a bit unsettling Any ideas?

Thx

Hey

I was reading a forbes article where it shows the cost of cointracking software at #325 but the website shows it at .4 BTC which is like $2600 or so.  Which is correct:  Here is the article

Does anyone have any insight or done any research on an upcoming ICO called Wanchain?

Do they have a wallet?  I don't see one.  Looks like a great project

I have not been able to withdraw, I think this is a bad sign.  I see opinions indicating a potential scam, it looks like it.

I checked the wallet address several times before and after I submitted and then clicked the link to confirm.  I still have the confirmation email with amount of BTC and wallet address so I know it is correct.  when I clicked the confirmation link the page that came up indicated the successful completion of the requested transfer.

Did you add an "Alternative Email" in the settings? If you did, they will send you 2 confirmation emails, 1 to each address. You would need to confirm from both email addrs if that's the case.
Nope, I only have the one email and I confirmed when the link arrived in my inbox

Almost 2 days now and no deposit to my wallet from scryptcc.  I've submitted trouble tickets but previous ones have simply been deleted without response

have you received confirmation mail?
I received a confirmation email at the outset but nothing from that point forward.

Did you actually confirm the withdraw?   What does it say after your withdraw?

Assuming your withdraw was confirmed, check the email for the BTC address you supplied.   Was it correct?
