1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokens or Bitcoin? on: June 18, 2018, 11:09:42 AM
The best thing to do here is differentiate your portfolio in both, while choosing good ERC20 tokens (since most of them are garbage with no working product).
Imo every single crypto portfolio should have at least 30-50% of its value in bitcoin (varying depending on alt-season/bitcoin bullrun imminent), the rest of the portfolio (so altcoins) are just a mean to stack more bitcoin (also the reason you should count your altcoin gains/losses in satoshis and not dollars)
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy TRON or ETH? on: June 17, 2018, 01:31:07 PM
First, never buy this or that crypto just because "it's price is lower than btc". Look at market cap and the number of coins in circulation (i.e. ripple won't pull a 10000x just because it's worth $0.50, when there are 40 billions of coins in circulation compared to the maximum 21 millions bitcoins).
Second, for choosing between Ethereum and Tron you need to think about what kind of investment you want to make. The Ethereum foundation has a history for being a top cryptocurrency and delivering with their roadmaps/objectives, while having probably the best developers in the crypto space (probably along with the bitcoin Lightning network devs), while Tron has a great marketing team and Justin Sun, known for pumping his coin.
So it appears quite obvious to me that if you're looking for a long term investment you should definitely go with Ethereum, while if you're just looking for a quick pump, wait for this bear trend to stop and invest in Tron when you think it will pump soonish. I wouldn't put my money into Tron long term.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins be gone someday! on: June 17, 2018, 10:34:15 AM
In such a new environment fueled by speculation and craze for huge returns, there will be tons of cryptocurrencies that are actually vaporware (offer no working product at all but just a lot of promises) but have a much higher valuation than other working projects. Only time will tell which cryptos are here to stay and which ones deserve to slowly die off as the public realizes they are worthless.
It's up to you to find altcoins that have a reason to exists in the years to come, I believe not all of them will die, but a huge majority for sure. So good luck finding the good ones Smiley
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHATS YOUR TOP CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR HUGE GAINS? on: June 16, 2018, 01:21:48 PM
Everyone will reply a different crypto, but the best recipe for huge % gains is only one:
-Pick some low/micro cap after having done your research (even if that means reading through hundreds of whitepapers)
-Slowly accumulate, let the price come to you and don't market buy your whole position in the first day
-Hold the crypto, sell a small % after huge pumps and if you believe it will go up again, buy back after the drop

Will not shill any crypto I'm invested in so this looks much more plausible and not just a shill post. Good luck.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will NEO become one of the top 10? on: June 16, 2018, 12:51:36 PM
Too centralized for my liking, their nodes are not enough for it to be a true cryptocurrency. Gas rewards are nice but not as good to justify holding NEO long term
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: June 14, 2018, 11:10:28 AM
Should've researched more before buying the top.
How do you even manage to feel confident with your buy when just few months before Ripple was trading at below $0.1?
Either way, maybe it will surpass it's ATH in a few months, maybe years. No one knows for sure
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Cryptos are the future why are we in the RED? on: June 13, 2018, 02:02:45 PM
Just because something is the future it doesn't mean it will perform positively every single day of its existence. Just look at prices from 1-2 years ago and compare it to now.
Also you skipped the detail that we're in a bear market Smiley
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: June 12, 2018, 06:31:48 PM
A) Because they are scary to completely ban something so innovative and that could benefit their economy
B) Because they don't know how to actually ban something like bitcoin, as these new technologies have always found a way to survive (look at thepiratebay still up after years)
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 250 ETH, Hold or SELL? on: June 12, 2018, 12:55:09 PM
You could sell a % when the market recovers and than use the rest for staking with Casper.
Should make for a nice income.
