Tried to register today - closed.  I would like to give it a try, even if some people seem to have some issues recently.
No problems, just misreading stats My bad

it's accepting shares but stats page is messed up and "Total bounty for 24h" is 0.00000000?
Idd, roundtime 1d 01:41:51. That's not right

Nope, this is normal numbers with current difficulty and pool hashrate power.

thanks for that dbitcoin - also getting 0.00000 for 24 hours.

bit grim at the moment then  Embarrassed

Looks like the perfect time to let in new miners

I like my income per blok right now but he swings are a little but too much

Would you believe I have the same board..  same issue

at least I suspect its the same board

cheapo, foxconn, one 16x, which works fine..

and a 1x above it.

Cant get anything to mine in it, yet it shows in device manager (win xp)

tried various cards..  its deff the slot..

Will continue testing
Does it look like this one? http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=M3N78D I know it isn't a foxconn but i know a foxconn witht has an similar layout. I only got the x16 and upper x1 pcie working. Thats with two cards only. On the other x1 slots the cards fan goes mad spinning hard, going down and spinning hard again. Got the wire trick and dummy plug so my bet is it is a hardware problem. do you have any other devices that plug in x1 slots? curious if they will work

Hi,
I recently got an new ISP(cable) wich doesnt seem to like mining. the connection only lasts minutes when connection to server is lost or i get "Warning: work queue empty, miner is idle." I've checked connection to ISP with http://www.tarosoft.com/IsItUp.htm and it never goes down so that doesnt seem to be the problem. I returnd using my old ISP(adsl, lasts until end of month) wich works like a charm so gpu and all should be fine. Anyone got an idea what i might be?

For the new ISP, are you using a router? If so you might have to port forward. Have you tired pinging slush's with new ISP?

Old an new ISP are both on routers pinging slush works. Port is not forwarded ,trying now.

Port forwarding doesn't get the thing done. End of the line is that mining on Slush's pool get my rig thrown of the home network. Other devices and connection to ISP stays up. Tried an athor pool and got no problem at all. Must be something with the new modem/router or ISP blocking things?

replace the ; in the command with \;
all semicolons need to be escaped, otherwise bash treats them as separate commands

Like this? api2.bitcoin.cz:8332/\;askrate=10 -k  let me try

That does it thanks a lot

I'm trying to set askrate since there's no longpolling but it fails. This is what i do:

python phoenix.py -u http://xxxx.xxxx:xxxx@api2.bitcoin.cz:8332/;askrate=10 -k phatk DEVICE=1 VECTORS AGGRESSION=12 WORKSIZE=128 BFI_INT FASTLOOP=false

Then i get this:

phoenix$ python phoenix.py -u http://XXXX.XXXX:XXXX@api2.bitcoin.cz:8332/;askrate=10 -k phatk DEVICE=1 VECTORS AGGRESSION=12 WORKSIZE=128 BFI_INT FASTLOOP=false
No device specified or device not found, use DEVICE=ID to specify one of the following

  • AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250 Processor
  • [1] Cypress
        [2] Cypress
[0 Khash/sec] [0 Accepted] [0 Rejected]-k: command not found

Anyone knows what i got wrong here?

Fortunately all shares are also couned separately on each backend, so I only need to merge this data from backends now.

Seems things will work out...
