1  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Nakapay - Looking for feedback and discussion on: October 29, 2014, 01:05:12 AM
Could you maybe illustrate your idea graphically or with pictures, rather than a text-based description?

Might help me get my head around it.
2  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] Mintspare (MS) Bitcoin Electronic Trade-in Service - Official Thread on: October 26, 2014, 01:50:23 PM
MS is still operating. They have lowered their expenses. As long as they are providing a service to their customers we don't see any reason why the MS fund should be closed.

Any proof they're still operating?

You're an incredibly shady exchange. No vetting of new IPOs, no recourse for fraud (NEOBEE), and no de-listing of failing businesses (MS).
3  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: colored bitcoins/distributed exchanges proof-of-concept on: September 14, 2014, 11:06:56 PM
every single satoshi is still traceable to its generation block
is this true? are you sure?

that would be horrible.

Why would it be horrible? That's precisely what the 'permanent, public ledger' of the blockchain entails.

Any chance someone could find out where he lives for research purposes?

Any updates?
6  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ChromaWallet (colored coins): issue and trade private currencies/stocks/bonds/.. on: July 07, 2014, 09:37:23 AM
Is there any way to incentivise the uptake of ChromaWallet amongst people running bitcoin nodes, and/or is there any chance support for it could be incorporated into bitcoin core?
7  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ChromaWallet (colored coins): issue and trade private currencies/stocks/bonds/.. on: July 07, 2014, 04:25:30 AM
Killerstorm,

Could you possibly outline the differences between your implementation and the CoinPrism one?

Also, I've got some trading services I'd like to explore - will you be releasing an API for your colour implementation? That would help me choose between ChromaTokens (?), CoinPrism (no API) and CounterParty (has an API).

Thanks!

About your investment.

Pics or it didn't happen. Where's your proof?

Really? Of all the far-fetched claims in the bitcoin world, your main contention is that I didn't really put 2 BTC into SF1? Why the hell would I lie about that? I lost far more than that in NeoBee.

I just want to see the most likely success from SF1 actually succeed.

In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

Asking why you're not spending time to write a native app, and getting angry when you can't even be civil to one of your investors is not trolling.

Thank you gweedo. I was hoping calmer heads would prevail, but instead we get another angry attack.

Jsuder - my 2BTC does not give me 50% of Hive. But our collective 150BTC through seed coin SURE AS FUCK does. Get off your high horse and realise that without investors like myself you'd be working on your next little project instead of having a shot at the big time.

A big time which you're choosing to ignore. Tell us, how do you plan to monetise anything you've produced so far and return any value to your investors?

I stand by my original assessment that a native iPhone app is your only way to monetise what you've produced, and ignoring that is to betray your investors.

Now let me think...do I want to use a product designed by petulant children who have no business plan?
11  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Introducing Hive, a beautiful new wallet for Mac OS X on: July 02, 2014, 06:42:03 PM
(even when someone deserves it).

I deserve to be told to fuck off because I'm questioning why they can't write a native iOS app?

They sell themselves as a 'beautiful bitcoin wallet for Mac', but the one place a 'Mac' bitcoin wallet makes sense is on the iPhone. Not to mention this is the one part of their business they can monetise. The ONE part they can monetise.

So wendell - fuck you. You can take the 2 BTC I put into your company and stick it straight up your entitled asshole. You're living off my money and that of your other investors right now. So damned straight you should be kissing our asses.

You want 'constructive criticism'? OK - focus on the one part of your business that you can actually monetise. You're not going to make shit from your web service or your desktop software. Jack shit. Realise that, and work on the bit that's going to make me my money back.

When you start living off the profits of your sales and not off my investment, then you can get off telling me about my attitude. Not one second before. Prick.
12  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Introducing Hive, a beautiful new wallet for Mac OS X on: July 01, 2014, 10:11:34 PM
How can you not have enough time or money to work on creating a native iOS app? This is the defining point in your company's history, and the entire reason SeedCoin gave you ~300BTC a few months ago.

You're betraying your users and investors by failing to meet the market's expectations.

Ah the nostalgia.

Was the first to call it btw:

Enjoy your losses.

What a cunt. Do you feel good about yourself, you smug little shit?
14  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Fee discovery on: June 03, 2014, 11:44:40 PM
Because it will trigger a positive feedback loop of ever-rising fees.

15  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK](SFI) Seedcoin Fund I on: June 03, 2014, 08:20:10 PM
Does anyone know why SF1's value is collapsing? Got to say, I'm a little pissed off - I recently lost some BTC in NEOBEE.

With Apple's announcement that they're going to accept Bitcoin wallets, surely selling Hive is one way to get some money back to us investors?
16  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ChromaWallet (colored coins): issue and trade private currencies/stocks/bonds/.. on: May 28, 2014, 02:24:00 PM
Stupid question: is this 100% compatible with the coinprism implementation of colored coins?

No, it isn't compatible with CoinPrism. Although we might add support for CoinPrism colors some time later.

So it's Betamax vs. VHS all over again?
17  Economy / Securities / Re: [ANN] myHavelock - Monitor your Havelock Investments portfolio on Android! on: May 18, 2014, 01:18:35 AM
So why is havelock not willing to develop apps themselves?

They hold a theoretical $40m - yet they have the most basic trading page, terrible stock selection/follow up (NeoBee anyone?) and no hint of an iOS app.

This is not the behaviour of a $40m company, but a group of college-aged garage band scammers.

Be careful out there.

Agreed. I got burned too. Wanted to believe in innocence before guilt for too long.

Would be good if this thread was used to update people about the current police/legal issues.

I hopy you and your family are safe. Keep up the good work.

If and when Bitcoin makes a "comeback" in price

Huh $440/BTC is a pretty damned good price. Businesses don't stop trading because their currency might be worth more/less/the same in the future.
