The new system is good for spam prevention, this forum has lots of spam posts, i agree. But is it really going to work? I have been a member since May but one day i woke up and all of a sudden i am a "Newbie". And taking about quality posts, some people do make a quality post but they don't get a merit at all. I have seen such posts. So, yes its kind of hard to get 1 merit. I guess i will just have to engage with the community and one day i will get a merit for that! Well, best of luck to everyone.

Do you know the total supply of world's money? According to CIA world fact book, the global total is in excess of $80 trillion.
True, cryptocurrency has changed a lot in recent years. And new ICO's are popping up like mushrooms , its is becoming harder to identify a good projects now a days. But i believe only strong projects with a usable product will survive in this market, even if their supply is huge. We can't expect 1000X anymore, because there isn't enough money to support it. But in the near future crypto will surely take over the fiat. In ancient years people traded goods for goods. If we somehow able do this in this modern era with cryptocurrency that would be awesome (history repeats itself). BTW nice post |

WOW! Such a big step taken by forum admins Although i got demoted for not having a merit, but i think this is for the best. I believe this new merit system will encourage new users to make a valuable post and stop the forum spamming. To be honest, recently this forum is filled with worthless posts, this needs to be stopped! Only those who shares valuable post deserve a merit. Also, i think we should encourage users to use the merit system, because people don't want to give merits anymore. I was reading couple of threads and i noticed that this could be the only drawback in this new rule. Hope users in this forum use the merit system more frequently. BTW i want to give merits to some posts , how can i do that ? I don't see any options to give merits. |
