The helium miners are radios, you connect them to your home internet and they are supposed to connect together and build a stronger "subnet" of some sort.
I bought a bobcat miner and it'll take about 20 weeks from when I bought it to get it and set it up. I'm sure it's not very profitable, just like any miner, until more "access points" start popping up and building out that network.
Remember, we're a very large planet and we all occupy a very small space distant from each other. If we have two helium miners within range of each other they connect and they produce HNT token amounts.
if you are in the middle of nowhere. there's no point in mining helium. If you're in a city, chances of fluid token emission are logically higher.
That's my takeaway, I'm not really sure if HNT is mined without being connected to another miner... I really don't know for sure until I get the miner setup.
If I mine enough to ROI on the miner for $500 between now and next year, I suppose it's fine - the key is low power, low bandwidth device that just prints HNT. cool.

it was inevitable a commonality of naming with different symbols would occur.
The problem is neither community is confused.

what would you do if a newbie said he could develop your money and he asked you to invest money in him ?
if you would pay a plumber to fix your toilet, your investing in a newbie. hear me out, A plumber is a technical person who can fix and repair pipes and toilet functions, showers, install sinks, hey. build out fire sprinklers in hospitals, whatever. Consider that they are newbies, They start with residential plumbing and may not have much work coming at that time. Investing in a newbie if they do work for you sounds like a far better alternative then handing someone money and saying here. double this.

I found three that were suspicious, but I didn't spend time doing a full check. --- I'm a newbie on the forum, many people are just trying to learn and find out reasons people yell scam about exchanges, masternode coins, et al. I'm not out any money from this, the interest I have is in the community. Too many are being wrecked from bad actors and we're not doing much about it but "oh you learned!" in the selfish communities I'm reaching into that tend to be very dedicated to the wrong things. I grew up on bbs's, moved to IRC, learned to build a business online with early dial-up internet and did seti project and other distributed computing initiatives. not many of them had a decent community and like this forum, there's a lot of technical discussions still published since 2008 on a simple machines lamp server stood up in someone's ad-hoc co-located overpowered virtual machine. I miss that community of the "good ole' days." I miss seeing people standing up for motivated individuals and helping them along like it's a great mission... we still have, just not much in crypto like I see it in it's watered down form. I go back to IRC, and I find empty channels, new projects with 2 people in them, developer chats without a single brogrammer, and a few misguided hackers that still do the same things I remember them doing in 1991, only now they have kids. To the core of the original greys of any community, it's my pleasure to meet everyone, and I feel like merit is a strange way to validate if someone is genuine or not. If people of honor exist, they won't have to tell you they are honorable. in my best old man voice "In my day, if you wanted street cred...."

I'm friends with a lot of the people who run this coin, they tend to be very solid people.
The rest of the people who run the coin I'm learning are very nice also, the tech skills are good with the devs, and they love to geek talk, so that's important to me knowing they have a direct passion for the project.
The wallet is generic, most of the coin depth of project is fair. Considering effort, they want to build a publishing house for people on the internet and bring together a community of bloggers, writers, possibly even publish creative stories that build enough professionalism to be profitable in an engaged readership.
Being a personality that we all are, formed out of internet text! I hoped before this coin or steemit, medium or most blogging sites that there would be something fresh and simple to use. I've been doing this since Live Journal and blogger were a thing, but I don't think they really worked out well. Incentivized from my word crafting, writing a story, or even my interesting long rants in a focused context to a new reader would be more than just earning a bounty for most coins to fake a post and be a kiss-ass about the importance or wow factor. I'm interested in the platform and what the developers come up with that will become competitive to capture the creative writers and people who want to use the platform to find a form of success in readership with a broad audience.
I think having a good platform and community around expression is neat. I've done tens of thousands of blog posts and forum posts, and chats, and emails. I hope for a good platform to write a story, make a joke list, detail an event, or document a process that teaches a person how to build a tent. I'm excited. This is a simple idea with a good group of people who started getting it done from the start. Good luck with the roadmap and if you need help, just ask.

I also run a few Dextro Masternodes, this coin has a lot more potential, the development team is improving the product while supporting 3 sides of the community. Masternode Owners of all kinds, not just it's own coin. Crypto community at large. that stake the coin and enjoy a pretty blue generic wallet New and seasoned Community that rallies behind this coin. I know people that have built out colocation multi-location server systems to host hundreds of DXO masternodes in support, then poured massive of coins on devs back to them so they could push them to exchanges as a requirement to stake w/ the current multiple exchanges they sit on. Raisex <-- I would avoid this exchange, I'm not a fan of the background history of this exchange, but if you want to give them a chance. people are prepared to retaliate if this becomes a damage control situation. so trade with caution. The other exchanges are primed for volume, I can profit a little between exchanges, but I prefer introducing people to the coin and giving them a chance to host masternodes with the coin to learn crypto network support and altcoin community without fear of impolite, unprofessional backwoods newb crypto communities. "Community" is meant to be a code word for Security of the high-quality people within that will support the core team and new users without unneeded childish behavior. I'm really impressed by the community that assists you along the way for new masternode owners and the new to the crypto international crowd on Discord. I'm hoping they run a campaign raise some required funding to put this coin on additional exchanges.

Nix community is pretty awesome.

Hi everyone.
AceD coin price is not a concern, the concern is people and team that make an effort daily to help anyone in need. please stop by the AceD Discord channel, and hang out for a chat, you can learn about the coin there, but there's also AceD driven crypto accepting apps, a shared masternode service by aced, a masternode of course you could invest in while it's low priced and a lot of good people.
I hang out in the channels on AceD discord server quite a bit.
I advise the group and test software, I hope to welcome everyone to AceD that's just learning about the community.

I would not trade more then then you can afford to vanish. I would do small trades, manually, and not develop bots to make you rich here. I would be careful of high volume coins that appear to moon.
There is no reason not to trade there ... but always be mindful - the world of crypto is accessible to everyone, including the very intelligent greedy heist masters.
Many of us have been robbed. keep shopping, keep trading, and know that some car salesmen sell you crap.

Methuselah coin is called SAP, and I thought that was confusing. I guess that's better than calling it METH! The Coin itself is Lyra2Rev2 and GPU mined, that to me is important. I'm not a rich person and early mining with my desktop won't produce a whole lot of coins. What I do enjoy in research is the community and active announcements in the channel and not ghosted responsibility I find with a lot of altcoins and even new and upcoming exchanges (decentralized exchanges). One of the major viewpoints I learned to take is Alt-coin labor of love donation by nearly everyone involved. It is a lot of work to mine (with minimal GPU power) so work in exchange to build a community I applaud. I applaud for the founders! Great job staff to make value out of sweat equity, it shows in the invested to stabilize the chain, remove bad blocks, support master node restarts, prevent attacks and pay out of pocket to host master nodes and websites. It is one of my favorites songs' lyrics that I apply interestingly to the sleepless and countless days and nights they put into the effort of managing the community and infrastructure. I'm quoting Caged The Elephant. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKtsdZs9LJoOh there ain't no rest for the wicked Money don't grow on trees I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed There ain't nothing in this world for free Oh no, I can't slow down, I can't hold back Though you know, I wish I could Oh no there ain't no rest for the wicked Until we close our eyes for good [/b] I don't hold but 300 of these coins and It's a choice to point my GPU toward Methuselah for Sap Coins. I feel this coin will be worth more than I can estimate. I just won't estimate because I don't know.

I mine this coin! it's how i learned to configure my AMD RX580 for 30+ MHS!
I can get a lot of coins like anyone with a good GPU. I suggest mining because it is going to be listed and it has a good community.

I've been testing Lyra2Rev2 mining on an AMD REX 580 in anticipation of NIX mining. Lyra2rev2 is not taxing on the GPU (single), it handles approximately 17-24 on average M/Hs and sometimes sees 30. with a modded card, or tweaked settings this could mine quite a bit!
I believe in the ZOIN project and its business model, people who manage it, the decision process for changes, the moderators of the high traffic channels on discord and telegram. (I have not visited other social chat sites they may be on) But I always feel welcome there.
Because of the community, I have never seen Airdrops, Bounty bullcrap, and stupid contests... well except one, a crypto game I broke in like 35 seconds cause I'm a nerd, and it wasn't a scam airdrop either.
One of the highest regards for the team was the wallet and dedication to anti-ASIC mining to allow new users, and people who just want to casually dedicate an unused CPU to mine the Zoin coin. it's worth about 2$ at the time of this post.
NIX has a lot of excited people with ZOI ready to 2 (with) 1 airdrop, which is the first I've heard of before. The Holder of a ZOI will get 2 for each. don't be confused here, the ZOI will not be "burned" in the process. it will simply be held in a separate wallet, thus the NEW nix wallet will contain brand new NIX coins and the secret features within that I have only heard rumors of. I do know of ONE feature. but I have never tested it, so I don't' even know if it'll be in the release, but if it is. it's a really cool feature of a wallet that's been pretty popular to integrate.
I'm excited for NIX
