Great! Smiley I'm on it! :!

Stupid question: About the website: in the coins list i don't see anymore some coins like Doge etc are they available? Is there somewhere a list of full coin?

Stupid question 2: Did you plan to add Shiba Inu? Like unminable pool? It should be perfect!!!! Smiley

Just few words to say that i'm a big Zpool fan Smiley This pool accept all type of miners! Small rig welcome...

I just regret :

- Sometime the wallet adress are strangly interpreted and some money diseapear Smiley
- The coin list => Exchange list are not updated, it's sometime a headache to know what coin is on what exchange... (Ex HitBTC, it get out of the coin list search)

But very good job!

Hi

I got a problem to make it work my Apollo BTC on raspberry PI 3 (it work on my PC)

- I extracted the archive : Apollo-Miner_aarch64.tar.gz
- The device : /dev/ttyACM0 is correct into the directory
- When i try to launch the script file the console it quit directly => I tryed manually to launch the script in a
console and i get (translated from french)

"./start_apollo.sh: line 63 ./apollo-miner : impossible to launch the binary file : Format error for exec()"

Question two  : It is compatible with linux minera ?

Just me or?

10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcing GekkoScience's new USB stick miner, the aptly-named NewPac on: March 15, 2021, 04:24:30 PM
There should be pads on the back for testing the voltage with a multimeter. Something like Vcore and GND.

Hi

The problem is, i don't find clear informations to setup voltage screw!, it's very nebulous... I tryed a freq of 500 MHz but i get lot of errors? Maybe the screw is not setuped correctly (i got the initial screw setup)

Hey Smiley

Just few words to give an idea for Newpak owners! Those keys are very funny to use (and indestructible), the most big problem is the cooling. I tryed many solutions via fan etc and after 2 years of work Smiley I finally got a good setup!

The solution is : Get out the native passive cooler and replace it by a bigger one! I printed with PLA a support base and this aluminium cooler is cooldown by a 90 mm PC fan... And another fan in front to cool the other electronics chips.

This setup allow me to put a freq of 400/420 Mhz (10 keys)  for a hashrate of 950 Mh/s - 1 Th/s  for 130 watts.

12  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Batch 3] FutureBit Apollo LTC Official Order Thread on: February 08, 2021, 08:06:01 PM
Hi

I ordered mine! I hope have the same simple machine as ther other old SCRYPT apollo (Perfect engineering machine), but the product page of the BTC version is "not clear" between the differents versions (i'm a AS syndrom person)  i don't decrypt correctly  if the "standard" version is the same as the scrypt version?

Question :
"A simple machine, wifi, autonomous, and that i can manage via a web page?"

Or:

Do i need the other "cosmic module" ? Or a raspberry Pi to manage this one ?

Hi guys ! Just placed a order for this miner.

I was wondering what the recommended power supply would be for running 1 apollo !

Also what are you guys mining ? Some people mining DGB Huh

Hey welcome to futurebit world Smiley For me i use a good pc power block 1000 watts, it can deliver 12 volts with 40 amps!

And yes i put my apollo on digibyte mining on multipool Smiley With my config i get 3/7 DGB per days.

Here is a screen of my configuration, to the left, my futurebit mooonlander keys Smiley And the apollo to the right Smiley

And to the back the pc power. In front, it's a box i made with my 3D printer for my newpak keys (sha256)

All this small world is managed by some raspberry pi + touch screens.

Note for your apollo, do not buy shitty SD card, take one with good quality like sandisk or other, no chineese shit... Because with a crappy SD card
i almost destroyed my apollo... (The os read/write crashed and the apollo become crazy and hot during one night)
14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience NewPac Stickminer Official Support Thread on: February 28, 2019, 02:30:17 PM
Yes do not hesitate, it can be interresting for newpac users!
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience NewPac Stickminer Official Support Thread on: February 27, 2019, 07:31:08 PM
Hi

Oh yes! It was cool when i started my setup, but (maybe my fan was bad...) i can't get more than 500/515 MHS else my keys become
zomby each 6 hours...

My setup is in the most fresh room of my home, but the other miners (apollo scrypt) make so much hot air in this room (and a TUPOLEV sound...)...

For this reason, i create this one Smiley

See ya!
16  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience NewPac Stickminer Official Support Thread on: February 27, 2019, 07:03:34 PM
That looks great, I was considering the same idea but now im going for something just for aesthetics.

Thanks, oh! sure it's possible to make a more design model Smiley But when you need to clean it to remove dust
i prefer get a simple model to build/unbuild Smiley

At the begining i wanted to make a model with invisible fans, but when i tested, it was not pratical...

else, publish your! i'm curious Smiley it's cool to give the choice to this topic users Smiley

PS: I printed the first one a user made, but there was to much air flux lost...
17  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience NewPac Stickminer Official Support Thread on: February 27, 2019, 06:25:47 PM
Hey Smiley

I just finished my optimized air flux box for my gekko newpac Smiley Work only for the gekkoscience USB HUB (the best...)
For a best cooling i removed the top HUB cache.

Due to my printer size bed i needed to cut the box to 8 parts, you need to glue them, but it work Smiley

Here is the stl files if you want.... You need two 9 cm classic PC fans, the up fan let
in the fresh air, and the second fan get out the hot.

DOWNLOAD:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/vquh8zgrgyj27n3/GekkoBox.zip?dl=0

Note : Under CURA you need to do a scale X/Y/Z of 1000 to get the correct size.

https://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2019/09/3/1551291717-20190227-191614.jpg

With this setup i can run them to 600/615 mhz without problem Smiley

PS : Do not glue the top and the bottom, same for the fans, do not glue them if you want to remove dust or craps...
The glued angle pieces are enought to keep them in place.

See ya

So hey, i'm new.

I just bought the Apollo and it looks great. I understand the economics and its a hobby with a possible LT investment aspect. I was going to mine at litecoinpool, but then I saw a few posts on solo mining. I'd be interested to see where the Apollo users are mining.

Thanks.

Personaly i'm on multipool, on the multicoin scrypt pool (port 7777), it work very well with apollo Smiley

Just added the Apollo miner to https://apanel.com ASIC realtime Profitability framework.

Check it out:

Hi Smiley

Very good page! It is possible to add GekkoScience NEwpac and 2pac asic keys ? Smiley It should be cool!

Hi Smiley

Got mine working to 500/550 Mhz now => 750 gh/s, those keys are really funny to exploit Smiley

rockmoney:

For your fan problem, here is a cheap solution, you just need to round pieces of metal with a hole, unscrew the hub lateral screws.

Place the pieces of metal, and put the screw, after it, just put a point of glue to the exterior of the metal pieces, and stuck the fans Smiley Smiley

Like mine :
