2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 06, 2020, 10:50:34 PM
Fees will normalize only after eth 2.0 release or after defi death. I dont know what will be sooner

These two factors could be the cost recovery of expensive ETH gas, but maybe this is the business game of the big miners. They are still hungry for profit, all will be done when they reach their goal.
We don't prefer Bitcoin for the highest withdraw fee, recently Ethereum transaction cost is higher than Ethereum. Exactly, only real gainers only miners. Ethereum 2.0 can't be a solution for this high transaction. Follow only these steps: Ethereum, ERC-20 holders, centralized exchange or another blockchain. Now we can save our money from this high cost.

If Ethereum 2.0 can't be the answer to it, why then is it launched? It means it is not fulfilling it's mandate and we do not need it. This is definitely not the case.

Let it launch first, it it does not stop it, hen we would know it has no impact.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greedy crypto developers on: September 06, 2020, 10:44:59 PM
This kind of people are the reason why many investors left cryptocurrency world.
Developers should not using the hype moment to steal people's money with their scam project.
No need to turn the project into a defi project, just stay at the track of the plan will bring the project to success.

All for the sake of money. Now there are almost no developers who want to create a good and popular product. Now there are only those who want to earn more money with minimal effort. Therefore, developers come up with various reasons to refer to themselves as decentralized Finance. This should be treated calmly. And projects for investment need to be selected very carefully and carefully.

Those that fall in this category most are the projects that just laugh all of a sudden. Most especially when you check their GitHub, you would notice that they are just recent projects. If you check the GitHub of the real, serious and meaningful projects, development would have started a long time ago.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No hype is good on: September 06, 2020, 10:40:12 PM
ICO, IEO and now DeFi.
Have you seen that none of these are long existing? ICO created hype back in 2017, then IEO come into the ground and now it's time of DeFi. But with all of them, a lot of people were attracted and get scammed. It's not that easy to make money, dude. Don't run after anything which creates significant hype. Take time, observe and make decision. You have enough time to make profit.

i agree with you,, do not fall into a hype if we are not ready with the risk
because all kind of hype will make we lost a lot of money if we late to get in

Hype actually favour some set of people and at the same time, it is the reverse for some particular set. Defi movement is.actually very good and it is what we truly need in this space, but many scammers who call themselves project developers have bastardized it,but there are still genuine ones among others.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: September 06, 2020, 10:33:49 PM
This eating of a thing has Ben foiled for quite some time now. Only newbies will believe in such baseless ratings. In those days, I used to follow the ratings of ICOBench, but in all sincerity, they have long compromised. If I am looking at any dating site, it's just for me to.look at trending projects, most especially on ICOdrops.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Avalanche <AVAX> a scam? on: September 06, 2020, 10:30:36 PM
I have been following this project for quite some time now. It does not in Ay way look like a scam project. To me, it like legit and the team does not mean any harm to her investors. I once had a char with one.of the team members and from our conversation, he looks honest.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your favourite coin and token ? on: September 02, 2020, 11:59:44 PM
Ethereum has always been my favourite crypto coin for some time now but with increase in the transaction fee, I might be considering litecoin as my new favourite.  The gas fees needed to transfer a token on the ethereum blockchain network is currently making it difficult for people to make transactions. I just hope this doesn't continue and stops soon.

What Ethereum platform.is now used for, the platform of litecoin cannot serve the function.
Yes, Ethereum platform might have the problem of scalability, yet it does not stop it from being so relevant and the most relevant platform presently in the crypto space.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid big commissions to pay ethereum ? on: September 02, 2020, 11:56:05 PM
It's high time we got a system for interoperability. Where coins on different blockchains are inter connected and that the only fee you have to pay is the native coin of the said wallet that enables that function.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I like to collect the token on: September 01, 2020, 11:21:12 PM
For now collecting tokens (ERC20) is a waste of time. I say to keep tokens that have no potential or have no price and store them in a trustwallet or other wallet. So I say it's a waste of time, because gas costs are very high. I have a lot of tokens, estimated around $ 10 from each token. but I can't do anything, because it's like I said. gas costs are too high.

Gradually getting to a stage where gas fee is even Viber than the token you gave in your wallet. You might the begin to blame yourself that if you know you would have sold those tokens long before now, it actually renders than not being useful in any form.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM GAS FEES MIGHT NEVER GO DOWN AGAIN on: September 01, 2020, 11:15:53 PM
It is actually about to happen again. ETH is gaining momentum and growing almost every time I see it. Although, the increase in price started in about some days ago. At this stage that Ethereum is and with what I envisage, we might begin to pay as much as $50 for transfer of coins on Ethereum network.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Defi New revolution or just like 2017 ICO,s ? on: September 01, 2020, 10:24:29 PM
I don't think that the DEFI project has a real use case for future investment, for me it's a HYPE. but since the beginning of DEFI's emergence in the industry, they have attracted the attention of investors to join in and may be good for those who are good at taking quick profits in the Defi project.
I agree with you, DeFi's popularity will not last long, only HYPE...
It is very risky to invest in DeFi in current conditions, most investors who have been holding on for a long time must have taken their profits, it is not safe to invest in DeFi that are at the top right now.

The problem is that many people now have this mentality of Defi projects as having continuous pump, when it's not a ponzi. Only ponzi scheme will.keep.going high without any corrections. I prefer the organic growth of a coin and that can be sustained for a long period of time.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: August 31, 2020, 11:20:06 PM
Wow i am just seeing this thread it is very helpful. now i know i wont waste my time writing blog posts for scam projects anymore. They are very good points to watch out for. Thank you for this thread
This is not applicable to content creation alone and just as the OP has explained, it cuts across all forms of campaigns. Identifying and setting yourself apart from such the is very crucial
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: August 30, 2020, 10:46:40 PM
Yes if you happens to be lucky enough to choose the right bounty then yes it will be worth your time, take a look at Dia bounty, the value of Dia has rising so high that hunters will earn good reward from the bounty.

Good example. However, it is not correct. Yes, the project is showing very serious results. However, there were no payments to hunters yet, which means it is too early to talk about the success of bounty hunters.
Remember the DigitalBits project, they promised to pay out the awards for a whole year, while the project has grown very well in value. And in the end they deceived everyone and paid nothing to anyone.

If they decide not to pay, they are only playing on their reputation and it can ruin it. Their project will also be at stake. I just hope they and other projects in that position think of the aftermath before taking any action that will not be beneficial.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: August 30, 2020, 10:28:43 PM
Put aside the amazing technology that crypto is built on, monetary incentives is what led me to crypto industry and it is still this reason that keeps me here till today. I am not desperate about the monetary value, but I don't think I can enjoy crypto and its amazing features to the fullness without making good earnings from it.

Yes the fun in cryptocurrency is to at the end make some money or profit from it because you can invest in it and you don't invest not to make gain . So hear I believe money is one big reason.

That is actually the end result. Those who come here in search of knowledge, will at the end use it to make some money. Likewise those that come for fun. Yet it should not be all about the money.
Those who come solely because of that easily get disappointed and to continue might be a serious issue.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: August 30, 2020, 10:21:20 PM
that any new crypto currency overtake Eth in times of price value can that be possible?
It's not impossible to overtake Ethereum. This has happened when XRP was in second place. Maybe one day a coin that has a high value will appear. Let's say the coin appears like a YFI coin. However, YFI is limited in supply, so it has not been able to overtake Ethereum.

Yes, the circulating supply of a coin has to be considered to determine if it can overtake the 2nd top coin in the entire crypto space. Price is just a sub-determinant.
Even when XRP took over the second position sometimes ago, it could not sustain the position for an appreciable period of time. ETH is a strong altcoin and I doubt if any other coin will be able to overtake it in position. Well, maybe price-wise, it is possible.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with scam copycats of YFI on: August 29, 2020, 11:05:46 PM
I was formerly thinking of something else as regards this YFI coin, but as soon as I checked the market watch sites for the exchanges it is trading and I saw Binance, I was amazed.
Not only that, it has a decent volume and it showed that it can be traded.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest for quick gains only on: August 29, 2020, 10:59:34 PM
Thanks for sharing, got my eyes on DIA before, will research more on Orion and Curve if they are worth investing in. Defi project with real usecase currently are doing well, think defi is here to stay.
Yes, DeFi has come to be established, but not every one of them will stay long, because they lack substance. I am also in full support of DIA, because they have got something spectacular to offer. Immediately I saw their production, I knew they would make it to the top. They have started and are doing well.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non DeFi projects starts going DeFi on: August 29, 2020, 10:53:55 PM
The best way to go about it, peradventure they want to associate themselves with DeFi projects is to have partnership with them, in case there is any connection. Yes, almost every project wants hype. No project want to lag behind and they all.want to take advantage of this moment, particularly the envisaged bull run.
If they are capable, they should go and partner with top projects that are in DeFi line.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩DeFi scams [history]💩 on: August 27, 2020, 11:58:16 PM
bro haha all these uni defi erc shit things are pure garbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage.  sure in many years 1 or 2 MAY have some role in the tech eth is trying to implement but otherwise it's all another hype cycle of bullshit.  all pnd whale action for this crap.  99% of ppl don't know or care what they are.....they just wanna be greedy and make money.  sadly most will get rekt.
not all of them garbage dude, i am agree so many people be greedy in this Defi project , they thinking if investing in Defi could get high return only in few days or weeks. but most of them didnt give anything to investors and only  make investors rekt. many example creepy project in uniswap exchanges, most of them just following trend.

It is actually sometimes very hard to sieve the good ones out of the bad in the crypto space. Just within this short period.that DeFi hype had just started, some projects have come out and discovered to be scam.
This is just a testing phase and many will Fail it.
To start with, the good ones among them will be transparent and it will be obvious.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret? on: August 27, 2020, 11:45:23 PM
My biggest regret was a coin I ought to have bought sometimes in January. It is the coin we all know and that is Link. The price was very low, I had n opportunity to load my wallet with so much of it and if I could have waited when it hit $19, imagine what my profit would he been. In fact, that could have been my retirement fund.
