I don't know how many people still have their NODE and a few of them just have enormous amounts of NODE... don't know if that's the best idea.
Would be more interesting to give the original investors of NODE the chance to get  a share of EDON for a cheaper price?

Will investors of the original node get some coins for their sad node investment?

Will there be a development fund or similar?

wow, price was quite stable before the last messages here.. now it seems that everybody dumps. time to buy some NODE

He sold ~0.6BTC, that's not even 200€, so don't panic it may be a lot in ukraine but there was a time when you could sell your stack for 1BTC

They spoke about an awesome brain-like system that promises instant transactions... well in reality even with only 1 transaction per day it often takes more than 1 minute.. sure that is a lot faster than bitcoin but far from instant. and the network needs a stress test like the bitcoin network had. no big transactions but could be easily done by a few people running a script. just throw a few thousand transactions at it and let's see what happens.

What i do not understand is why the price is raising no new announcement, everything as bad as before...

Very sad that sava reacts in that way to a few agressive people. Don't lose control that quickly and "punish" everyone because of a few idiots.

yeah all those who cry can still sell their stake and get more than they invested (except those who bought at the auction, but that's their problem).

don't know about you but I did not give them much and I could've easily gotten that amount back, even now you get more BTC from selling your stake than I payed them for having it (at least I think so, can't exactly remember how much i paid, 0.035BTC?)

To the others: You really think this is a scam? After that many month of development? If this coin dies then not because it's a scam but because the devs are only good at programming.
And why should a dev not go on holiday? Would you be glad about working without holidays? Of course it's not good to have no updates and progress for that time. That's of course the dev's fault because they failed in creating a team around them and an active community and some other things...

Last thing I remembered while writing the answer was that it was too easy to forge by moving some NODEs around as the balance between NODE movement and online time was not good.
They said it will be better in the future.


And they really need someone for marketing but until now we do not even know how many of the devs are left..
Maybe a little chat over skype could be good to regain some trust and get some answers?

You are right. It was never advertised.
The point is: without this feature the coin is only half. Of course its instant transcation feature is still great and with good marketing it could still be a successfull coin.

Although personally I don't like the original idea of POA as it only gives money to those that are moving money and not the people who are running node clients 24/7 but that's a different story

But we need at least one exchange and the banking infrastructure was a main feature, if you ditch that, nobody will be left here.
Without the banking infrastructure the coin has nothing to offer except instant transaction. hard to advertise that...

And they are probably right but if the community dumps a project before it is finished then nobody even cares about it once it is finished (or at least it will be very very hard to rise again).
I don't want to say that devs are doing a bad job because they don't, at least for the coding part.
But as many people here already said, marketing and information flow is horrible and that will be the fall of NODE..
Even testnet is not working properly because they just expect the community to download it, search for other people they can send money to and hope for contribution.. this could be easily coordinated as they did it during the first testclient period!
But maybe Silkroad is the only dev left and has no time for anything... who knows. they don't really give answers about anything.
A few months ago there was the idea of skyping with the devs but it did not happen. Maybe it's good to try that again?
We need honest answers and information, coordination and marketing.
I don't want short success but you can't let a project die like this..

What's wrong with you guys?? A few people whining about price drops and no advertisment and a few people making good arguments about missing community and stuff and you get that frustrated that you sell your NODEs or stop doing community things like the payout for online NODEs..

What's wrong with you? Development is still being done quite good. Of course they can not do everything and of course they need someone to do publicity and advertisment aswell as building a community.
But this does not make NODE that useless that you have to sell it now...


I really don't get you and although I personally voted for Lemon and Fries I now have the fealing that he is already frustrated and in no good condition to do that job.
But does that make NODE worthless?? No...
It is just a problem we need to fix altough it is not that easy without good support by devs but do you believe in the success of NODE or do you not?
Or are you just too lazy to do something by yourself? For your almost free NODE? (at least for initial stakeholders)

Just get up and show your support and not your interest in short-term money as you already know that it is something longterm.
