2  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: May 05, 2014, 07:13:58 AM
Had 3 S1 received yesterday.
One of them had problem with it's Fan!
Everything was ok but Fan was not working so mining is not starting, I understand that There is 0 Temperature shown on the Miner Status always.
I changed the Fan connector from Blade one to Blade two and now everything is going ok.

I hope these thing don't happen again, Just to let others know about this issue.

Maybe temp sensor is off, so software wont start fan while temp is low...

I'll try a reboot this evening. You were right, I rebooted via PSU.
Also I'll take a close look at the chips and the capacitors.

We'll see and hope... thx
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / chips crashing... on: May 04, 2014, 07:54:22 PM
Hi,
getting my S1 this week
Yesterday I plugged it, set it up and started the S1. unfortunately after a few seconds on, I saw this at the miner Status for the first chain:
oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo ooooxoxo

Hashrate was ~160GHS average.
Today I saw this on chain 1:
oooooooo oooooooo oooooxoo ooooxoxo
Hasrate dropped to 157.3GHS, maybe falling...

What is going on? I restarted the S1 several times seeing some more chips offline, after refreshing the page it ends in the shown "OX" above. I did not overclock, PSU is working fine, a little bit over the Watts told on site, but I ordered a GOLD state PSU to reach better Watt consumption. But what is wrong with the chips?Huh? second blade is fine.

thx

 Angry Angry Angry
rented your rig, but its mining to an totally unknown pool! WHAT IS WRONG HERE?
It is not my pool, it is not my account! Never set such a pool!

I'm disapointed! cant switch to my favourit pool. Its just your rig, others work fine, it always switch back to middlecoin.com

I dont want that - I want multi.ghash.io. settings are correct @ leaserig.net, other rigs do fine!

I think it is mining for you!

for smaller miners you should use port 3331

my miner is getting temporarily banned with that port configuration...
whats the matter? Is a 10GHS miner a small miner? thougth the USB ASIC miners are the small miners

anyone any suggestions?:

got a erupter blade @10GHS, works perfect with BTC.
But mining TAK is horrable. if Diff is low, got only 1GHS or not even a single share or rejected shares.
my pool: http://tak.minebig.com/

my proxysettings: bfgminer.exe --url stratum+tcp://tak.minebig.com:3330 --http-port 5001 --user ** --pass **
bfg V3.9.0

thx for any help!

Vigilantism? Really? Then you're not better then them!
Folks, you're acting in a gray area with BTC things. It's decentralized! There is no BTC-law or sth like that! Keep that in mind. Face up with that fact! If you spend money, you can loose everything, it's a dangereous business! It's more like a game. You may win, but probably you loose.

got an API for BTC, need them for altcoins, especially scrypt
14  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Difficulty Chart on: February 27, 2014, 05:43:50 PM
Hi,

I'd like to create a difficulty chart of some coins. is it possible to use PHP to talk via a json string to a mining pool (stratum) and ask for the current diff?
Or are there some free API to get these diff?

I know: https://blockchain.info/de/q/getdifficulty but its just for BTC...

Thx!
