1  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [850 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: February 19, 2014, 04:29:23 AM
Guys, move on and try another pool for a week and assess the payout.
For me I tried slush for a week and is trying the other pool (while continue to monitor slush progression).
I will say I glad I moved.

Which pool may I ask did you move to?
2  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Open Source Avalon Gen2 55nm Board on: January 21, 2014, 03:37:04 AM
I just got a new miner today and it seems to be working great. Only thing is I noticed some inconsistencies as far as the match_work_count goes.
Can anyone confirm that there is an issue? Weird thing is, I'm hashing at the advertised rate...
Please give me some insight.
I appreciate it.

3  Bitcoin / Hardware / Avalon Gen 2 Firmware Upgrade Question on: January 21, 2014, 02:05:50 AM
I just got an Avalon Gen 2 and it's working great. I wanted to see if I could upgrade to the newest version of cgminer 3.10. I've been looking and have been a little hesitant as I definitely don't want to brick this newly purchased baby. Can someone lead me into the right direction. I currently have this:

OpenWrt
Model   TP-LINK TL-WR703N v1
Firmware Version    OpenWrt Barrier Breaker r38031 / LuCI Trunk (svn-r9933)
Kernel Version   3.10.12

Firmware is: 20131110

I notice that it has cgminer version  3.4.3-1

Can I upgrade to this: http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/avalon/20131229/

or would it be a bad decision? Thanks for your insight.
